Monsuau Cala D'Or Hotel 4 Sup - Adults Only

My friend and me had a stay of 4 nights. The service was really good, we had a nice welcome and a lovely waiter Carlos. The hotel is beautiful and topped our expectations. The walk to the beach is not too long and there are enough parking areas near the hotel. The hotel gym is really well equipped.

We had an overall great stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean – housekeeping was especially thorough every day, which made a big difference. Breakfast offered plenty of variety, and the pool areas were a definite highlight: lots of space, and we never struggled to find a sunbed, which is rare! The rooftop is absolutely stunning. However, when we went up it was very quiet, almost a little too quiet. There was entertainment on some days, but we didn’t know when, and may have missed the schedule if it was shared somewhere. The only slight downside was that the hotel seemed a bit unsure of its vibe. Some days it was tranquil and serene, and then suddenly there’d be a very loud live DJ by the pool that didn’t really match the mood – most people seemed to tune it out. In terms of activities, there were a few exercise options like HIIT, stretching, and personal training. It felt like a missed opportunity not to offer more variety – yoga, Pilates, or aqua aerobics would have been really popular. That said, the comfort, cleanliness, and facilities were excellent, and we’d still happily return – ideally with a bit more clarity on the atmosphere the hotel is going for.

La chambre est très bien et propre Le personnel très professionnel et agréable. Le petit déjeuner au top un choix très complet en sucré ou salé. Salle de sport très bien équipé. Emplacement correct, 5mn à pied du petit centre de Cala Ferrera mais à 20mn pied de la plage et du centre de Cal d'or. Petit bémol le stationnement : il y a apparemment 8 places au total autant dire quasi rien vu le nombre de chambre. Je recommande sans hésitation cet hôtel.

Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, frisch und lecker – startet allerdings erst um 07:30 Uhr. Die Betten sind groß und sehr bequem. Einziger Schwachpunkt: das Internet ist leider schwach.

The atmosphere was great, could get a sunbed round the pool any time of day (no need to reserve sunbeds) The breakfast was excellent, great selection and could always get a table. The rooftop terrace bar and restaurant was spot on, such a good vibe. Live music from Friday-Sunday. Couples of all ages, groups of friends, caters for all groups. Would definitely go back again. Marina is a 5 min drive or 25-30 min walk and has loads of restaurant options as well. Order an airport transfer through the hotel in advance and was roughly 80 euros each way which was cheaper than private transfers.

The hotel was lovely but we were disappointed with the rooms. It was an expensive holiday and the standard rooms are quite basic - a shower in a glass cubicle with a toilet next to it. The basin is actually in the room itself. I would expect a lovely complete bathroom for the price. We would stay again but don’t book a standard room. The spa treatment centre is not good. You expect a certain ambience in the rooms and reception area. My friend and I both had treatments where we were shown into a small white room with bright lights which were just switched off at the start and switched on again at the end. It should be a beautiful experience and it was not. The room I was in had bubbling paint and rust patches on the ceiling The pool area, breakfast and restaurant were lovely. We would stay again but upgrade our rooms and avoid the spa

Monsauau Hotel is a little gem in a great area. The hotel itself is clean and well thought out - with good amenities and fabulous staff. It is a modern design and has an amazing rooftop bar and restaurant - which is not cheap but certainly served beautiful food so great for a treat. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The beach is a 5/10 mins walk away (and a few beaches to choose from which were lovely). It is a calm adults only hotel and there was never a rush for sunbeds or food. The vibe was very chill. Our room was clean and spacious but the outside area could have been improved as there was no screen to the outside area and just a veranda that led on to a grass area. There was also a broken shelf and fridge did not go very cold, but we were happy to report this at the end as it did not ruin our time there. Great gym and spa which we tried often. It is made clear that the rooms are on one side of te rad and the facilities the other, but this was not an issue as it is a small road. However it is a road travelled by transfer and loca buses so although one way, was quite busy. To be honest this never bothered us as the rooms were very quiet. One of the best things about the hotel were the staff - who were very good.

Rigtig god service. Poolen var større end jeg havde regnet med. Godt fitness rum -holdene kunne dog godt starte tidligere om morgenen. Gode drinks. Tæt på stranden, i udkanten af byen. Lækker morgenmad og virkelig god service at vi fik morgenmad to-go da vi skulle afsted før morgenmaden åbnede.

Wir hatten das Eckzimmer in der white swim up Kategorie- sehr komfortabel! Kleines aber feines Zimmer (18m2) und wirklich ein gutes Bett und schöne Kopfkissen! Die Anlage ist generell sehr gepflegt- unser privat Pool war leider nicht so sauber- ich hätte mir einen Kescher gewünscht, aber unsere Hinweise wurden auch gleich umgesetzt! Das Frühstück gut und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Insgesamt ein wunderschönes Hotel in dem wir eine wunderbare Zeit hatten!

Food was ok. Check in was slow. Not much to do in the area. Rooms were dirty. Not 4 star.

We loved this hotel. The decor was so calming throughout with colourful tranquil lighting in the evening. Excellent room facilities including balcony with 2 sun loungers, hairdryer, ironing facilities and fridge. Welcome drink provided too. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening buffet was suitable for all tastes. Swimming pool and terrace was perfect.

A lovely quiet adults only hotel. Beautiful room that was kept immaculately clean. We didn’t have a chance to use the swimming pool area or restaurant outside of breakfast time, but it looked clean and inviting. Our room was in the main block, we did note that had we been over the road in the rooms facing onto the road it wouldn’t have been as nice - the balconies for those rooms face right onto the road. Breakfast great with a huge selection of food and drink choices. Whilst parking is free there is literally room for about 4/5 cars just round the corner from the hotel, we weren’t ever able to use those spaces but there is a quiet side street just behind the hotel that we used. Wouldn’t recommend Cala D’Or at all (super surprised to find it was not at all like we expected, really poor dining options, overcrowded beaches, full of kids fair rides and bouncy castles) but this hotel is a perfect choice if you are needing to be in the area.

Really nice hotel and everyone was super nice and helpful. It was clean and quiet. The rooms were nice but some minor parts, like the water tap or the door knob of the shower, were already quite old and could use a fix. But apart from that definitely a recommendation!

L'hotel était très beau et amenagés merveilleusement. Je suis obligé de mettre 5 pour plusieurs raisons: -La chambre n'était pas très spacieuse, la literie de mauvaise qualité, 2 lits d une place collés avec chacun son matelat qui n'arretait pas de glisser vers l'exterieur du lit, du coup tu te retrouvait dans la nuit avec un trou entre les deux lit. Assez deplaisant. Niveau propreté rien a dire.... -La télécommande de la tv ne fonctionnait pas non plus car les piles avaient fondues à l intérieur de la télécommande. -L'accueil à notre arrivé n'était pas jovial non plus et froid. D'ailleurs le personnel en général n'est pas très souriant excepté quelques serveurs et personnes s'occupant de l'entretien et du ménage. pas un hola !!! Il règne une ambiance très froide. Mais le pompon c'est la soit disant la chambre avec balcon donnant sur une piscine privée : description plus que mensongère ! Il s agit d un point d'eau arrivant à peine aux mollets et non une piscine pour vous rafraîchir. Pour qui nous prends t-on ? Apparement les chambres avec terrasse avait une eau un peu plus profonde. Il aurait été plus juste de mentionner correctement la différence dans la description des chambres. La Piscine privée est en faite pas une piscine mais un bain de pieds. Inutile d'y mettre le prix. -Le buffet petit déjeuner était parfait celui du dîner bof, pas grand choix mais les produits étaient de bonnes qualités. Conclusions: très bel hôtel, manque de convivialité, service à revoir.

PROS; -Room is spacious and modern, bathroom is nice and clean. -Enough amenities. -Property is really clean. -Staff really friendly, always there to greet and smile at you. They helped me out to call a taxi since there was a language barrier. -They greet you with a drink upon arrival and do a room tour with you, while helping you with your luggages. -When you have an early flight, they pack you fruits and sandwiches when you check out. -Pool is big enough, no matter what time, there's always a vacant sunbed. No need to reserve. -It's quiet in the neighborhood. Quiet hotel also. -Walkable to restaurants, to the center of Cala d'Or and to the beaches. -Breakfast is good. Dinner, I haven't tried. Restaurants around the area are really good. A must! -If you rent a car, they have parking spots reserved for the hotel or else, it's easy to park in the streets. CONS; -the room are not totally soundproof, so sometimes you can hear music or phones from the room next door. -room service isn't everyday or anytime. I would recommend it to be everyday until 11pm let's say, instead of it finishing at the same time as the restaurant downstairs. The cons didn't affect much of our trip, we could easily find alternatives. Highly recommend this place !

Zimmer mit Swim-up, einfach toll und empfehlenswert/ zuvorkommendes Personal/ Halbpension, abwechslungsreiches Angebot, man kann zwischen 5 unterschiedlichen Speisen und das bei drei Gängen auswählen, buchten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen:)

Dieses Hotel ist mit Vorsicht zu beachten! Auf den Bildern alles wunderschön, auch die Bewertungen gut. Die Realität ist eine Andere, wir haben nach dem ersten Abend Essen die Halbpension storniert, es wurde nicht nur kein Buffet angeboten sonder auch wirklich kein gutes Essen. Das a la carte Essen war nicht seriös ! Das Frühstück hat keinen 4 Sterne Standard, Kaffe und O Saft schmeckten wie Wasser, kein Sekt zum Frühstück. Unser Zimmer war wie eine Schuhschachtel mit abgetrenntem Bade und Toilettenbereich mit Pressspanplatten. Dieses Hotel hat keine 4 plus Sterne verdient ! Nach 3 Tagen haben wir das Hotel gewechselt !

Everything was more or less fine, but the politics of information could have been better ( the electric energy felt out for 10 hours, no-one was answering to my questions in my email. The answer was only automatically generated. Another point is, that the toilet in the room is only behind glass ( not visuable) and the door can not to be closed properly. It's not so comfortable for feeling the own intimacy in a good way. Beside these points, I felt very good there. The stuff was very friendly, the room quiet and the breakfast was excellent!

We had a really relaxing stay here. Exactly what we needed.The staff are lovely and our swim up room was superb. Breakfast always had plenty of choice. It's in a lovely quiet area but just a short walk from everything Cala d'Or has to offer. Would definitely recommend.

Super Urlaub!!! Durch die Art und Weise, wie das Team des Monsuau Hotel zu uns war,ist es schon nach kurzer Zeit ein sehr entspannter Aufenthalt geworden. Man wird herzlich empfangen und fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl. Da ich und meine Begleitung nur einen Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel hatten, jedoch nicht für den Rückweg zum Flughafen,wurde uns auf Anfrage ein Taxi am Tag der Abreise zum Zeitpunkt des Check Outs organisiert. Das Taxi war sogar genau passend am Hotel. Wir haben eine Halbpension gebucht und ich muss sagen, da es jeden Abend etwas anderes am Buffet gab(einiges sogar frisch vor den Augen zubereitet), war auswärts essen nicht nötig. Das Essen war sehr lecker,was wirklich noch untertrieben ist!!! <3 Wer entspannt in Cala D'or (Stadtteil Cala Ferrera) Urlaub machen möchte und Mallorca von seiner ruhigen Seite kennenlernen will,ist hier genau richtig!!! ¡Gracias por estas grandes vacaciones!

Bra fräscht hotell för vuxna med trevlig personal. I uppstart av säsongen serveras middag i frukostmatsalen. Inte så mysigt. Maten varierande, blandar peruanskt, marockanskt, italienskt, franskt, spanskt kök som tema på kvällarna med varierande kvalitet. Spanskt bra. Helt omöjligt att skjuta fram utcheckning från 11 till 12 även mot betalning.

Issues with the air con in the room when we arrived and had to move rooms twice (not good at 2am). Hotel is generally very high quality and the staff try to help. Disappointed that having been offered a take away breakfast for our early morning departure (5am), that the member of staff couldn’t find the the food in the kitchen when the time came. Small things letting this place down.

Hotel was amazing would definitely recommend. Staff were friendly professional outstanding customer service from reception to housekeeping and pool bar staff.

Ruhige schöne Gegend. Strand nah. Service und Zimmer sehr schön. Rooftop Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit gutem Service und sehr guter Sauberkeit. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Etwas ausserhalb des Stadkerns, dafür aber sehr ruhig gelegen. Service war auch einwandfrei. Nächster Strand ungefähr 10 min. Fussweg entfertn. Tolle Buchten in der Nähe. Abendessen haben wir nicht gebucht gehabt. Leider war das Zimmer bei Anreise erst um 14 Uhr fertig, sodass wir die Zeit von 11-14 am Pool verbringen mussten. Hier stellte sich heraus, dass man uns für die Zeit kein Handtuch geben kann, weil diese auf den Zimmern erst verfügbar sind. Etwas unflexibel, das könnte man besser lösen für seine Gäste. Dennoch insgesamt ein sehr erfholsamer Aufenthalt.

Wir hatten einen tollen, erholsamen Urlaub im Hotel Monsuau. Beim Frühstück gab es eine tolle Auswahl an Speisen und auch verschiedenen Milchalternativen. Das Personal im gesamten Hotel war stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zudem ist die Lage des Hotels super, man ist am Rande von Cala D‘Or wodurch es sehr ruhig ist aber man ist Flussläufen in ca 15-20 Minuten im Zentrum und an der schönen Bucht Cala Petit. Ein Pluspunkt des Hotels war außerdem die schöne Dachterasse, welche wir gerne für einen Aperitif von dem Abendessen genutzt haben! Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und konnten diesen kostenlos auf den Parkplätzen hinter dem Hotel abstellen was sehr praktisch war.

The hotel is a little bit of a walk to the nearest bars and restaurants (5-10 minutes) and 5 minutes to the nearest beach, which wasn’t a problem to us. The hotel and staff were fabulous.

Vi hade en jättefin vistelse. Hotellet i sin helhet var jättefint, rummen stora och rymliga, trevlig personal och fin pool. Rekommenderar starkt! Ligger lite längre från stan men går att promenera in på ca 15 minuter och nära till fina stränder. Till skillnad från många andra hotell i Cala d’Or så är det här hotellet lugnt och skönt

Prachtig boutiquehotel. Alles perfect, van het vriendelijke personeel tot en met de prachtige opzet. Heerlijk ontbijt, lekkere cocktails en lunch mogelijkheden, prachtig zwembad en kamers. Hotel ligt rustig en het is er ook rustig.. Maar op 20 min. loopafstand zit je midden in het gezellige centrum van Cala d'or

Super Urlaub!!! Durch die Art und Weise, wie das Team des Monsuau Hotel zu uns war,ist es schon nach kurzer Zeit ein sehr entspannter Aufenthalt geworden. Man wird herzlich empfangen und fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl. Da ich und meine Begleitung nur einen Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel hatten, jedoch nicht für den Rückweg zum Flughafen,wurde uns auf Anfrage ein Taxi am Tag der Abreise zum Zeitpunkt des Check Outs organisiert. Das Taxi war sogar genau passend am Hotel. Wir haben eine Halbpension gebucht und ich muss sagen, da es jeden Abend etwas anderes am Buffet gab(einiges sogar frisch vor den Augen zubereitet), war auswärts essen nicht nötig. Das Essen war sehr lecker,was wirklich noch untertrieben ist!!! <3 Wer entspannt in Cala D'or (Stadtteil Cala Ferrera) Urlaub machen möchte und Mallorca von seiner ruhigen Seite kennenlernen will,ist hier genau richtig!!! ¡Gracias por estas grandes vacaciones!

Es war ein tolles Hotel mit fantastischer Anlage. Das offene Gebäude sieht sehr ansprechend aus und man kann fantastische Sonnenuntergänge auf der Dachterasse genießen. Der Pool ist schön, das Gym und der extra Pool-/ Whirpoolbereich schön und entspannend. Etwas teuer für den Preis, jedoch ist das Frühstück sowie Abendbrot mit überzeugend mit viel Variation. Es werden keine kostenlosen Getränke bzw. nicht einmal Wasser mit dem Abendbrot (Halbpension) gereicht, was sehr schade ist. Ansonsten toller Urlaub mit sehr freundlichen Personal.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit gepflegter Poolanlage, tollem Gym und schöner Rooftop-Bar. Ein Indoor-Pool wäre für kühlere Tage noch das i-Tüpfelchen. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, frisch und lecker – startet allerdings erst um 07:30 Uhr. Die Betten sind groß und sehr bequem. Einziger Schwachpunkt: das Internet ist leider schwach.

Fantastic hotel, would highly recommend. Staff were excellent throughout, so polite and welcoming. The atmosphere was great, could get a sunbed round the pool any time of day (no need to reserve sunbeds) The breakfast was excellent, great selection and could always get a table. The rooftop terrace bar and restaurant was spot on, such a good vibe. Live music from Friday-Sunday. Couples of all ages, groups of friends, caters for all groups. Would definitely go back again. Marina is a 5 min drive or 25-30 min walk and has loads of restaurant options as well. Order an airport transfer through the hotel in advance and was roughly 80 euros each way which was cheaper than private transfers.

Heel prettig hotel, erg netjes en schoon, vriendelijk personeel en uitstekende voorzieningen. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Enige min punt was het picknick ontbijt op de laatste ochtend, omdat we vanwege een vroege vlucht het ontbijt niet haalde. Dit was echt gênant slecht, als je het vergelijkt met het fantastische ontbijt buffet zelf. Hadden hier echt zoveel meer van verwacht. Jammer.

Es war ein erholsamer urlaub. Alles war gut organisiert. Zum strand musste man 10 min. Laufen. Und wenn man essen geht muss man sich auf deutsche Preise einstellen. Für 4 Personen haben wor jeden abend um die 100 euro gezahlt. Man kann zwar im Hotel für 23 euro pro person das abendessen dazubuchen aber das hat uns kicht so sehr geschmeckt und das essen war kalt. Fürhstücksbuffet war gut ausgestattet. Mittags gibt es am Pool warmes essen zum bestellen. Die supermarkts sind sehr teuer. Da lohnt es sich nicht mittags etwas zum essen zu holen. Dann lieber eine Pizza im Hotel und die dann teilen. Am abreistag waren wir noch den ganzen tag am Pool. Was hoer schön war, dass es im Kofferraum noch eine dusche mit Handtüchern und schampoo gab So konnte man sich noch ordentlich abduschen bevor man nach Hause reiste.

Dieses Hotel ist mit Vorsicht zu beachten! Auf den Bildern alles wunderschön, auch die Bewertungen gut. Die Realität ist eine Andere, wir haben nach dem ersten Abend Essen die Halbpension storniert, es wurde nicht nur kein Buffet angeboten sonder auch wirklich kein gutes Essen. Das a la carte Essen war nicht seriös ! Das Frühstück hat keinen 4 Sterne Standard, Kaffe und O Saft schmeckten wie Wasser, kein Sekt zum Frühstück. Unser Zimmer war wie eine Schuhschachtel mit abgetrenntem Bade und Toilettenbereich mit Pressspanplatten. Dieses Hotel hat keine 4 plus Sterne verdient ! Nach 3 Tagen haben wir das Hotel gewechselt !

We had our honeymoon in the hotel monsuau and had the loveliest time. From entering the property at checking in we felt so looked after, the breakfast was excellent and the rooftop terrace. The bar food at the pool was particularly good. The location is perfect, approx 5-10mins walk to the strip in Ferrera and 20mins walk into cala D'or with excellent dining options. There was also plenty of beaches within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Sehr schönes, modernes Hotel am Ortsrand. Alles da, was man braucht. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück enorm vielfältig und frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen. Das Abendbüffet ist die 26 Euro auf jeden Fall wert. Gemütlich essen ist jedoch nicht. Qualität und Vielfalt des Büffets ok, aber nicht Begeisterungsfähig. Würden dennoch wiederkommen.
