First off, other travelers should be aware that rooms in this location are in a private residence. access to the rooms is via a gravel path (not great for suitcase wheels). Internet is slow and I could not download certain websites with photos. while the room was nice and the space heater worked well to keep the room warm overnight, the access and issues with the internet were enough to cause me to rate it low. the gravel path to the room was especially annoying for getting into and out of the room. on the positive side, the apartment - it was more than a room - was spacious, clean and comfortable. It could be a nice place to stay for someone who doesnt need high speed internet. mgmt was friendly and helpful in checking in. it just wasnt what I was expecting.

I needed a place to sleep while attending several events in the area and this was perfect; clean, safe, warm, great snacks. The only negative was the icy steps and deck. I had to break up the ice and clear with my boots. Place could use an electric kettle for tea. Other than that it was a great place for me and my elderly dog.

Great spot, close to Hudson and the Catskills. Room was a good size with a small kitchen and veranda to sit and have a drink. Steve was a great host and cooked us a great dinner in their small restaurant.

The owner is very very nice. We biked from nyc, and heading to upstate NY. We booked this hotel at the last minute because it's close to empire State trail. The room is quiet and clean. The owner allowed my kids to pick the strawberry, raspberries and tomatoes. Everything tasted so sweet right off the vine. This literally made their day. The hot tub was so nice after whole day of biking. The ice cream that the owner made was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel if you stay in this area.

I stayed in cabin 5, the yellow one. It is small but cozy. Has a well equipped kitchenette. Very clean bathroom and shower. WiFi worked well enough for streaming. There are beautiful plants all over, nice creek nearby with picnic tables. The cabin has an outdoor hot tub, but I did not use it.

A). The heater in the room didn't have a thermostat to set the desired temperature. As a result, we had only two options: Option 1. Let it run all the time and get too hot to sleep. Option 2. To disconnect the heater from the power outlet and get too cold to sleep. (The temperature outside was 16 F degrees.) B). The bathroom plumbing wasn't working properly. The shower control was not working to direct all the water up to the shower, instead it only 1/2 of the water and the rest of the water was coming from the lower forset directly tub. C). On the second day in the morning, the toilet stopped working/flashing, the water wasn't draining at all.

Removed from bustle of town but close to everything, it is surrounded by beautifully cared-for gardens in a scenic turn of the Claverack river. Our little studio apartment had everything, was thoughtfully decorated, clean and comfortable. Although we only stayed a night, the place felt like a respite for body and soul

Nothing special about this place... nothing was outstanding nor was anything really terrible. The actual check-in was weird--there was no full-time office to speak of--just a note on the door with a phone number to contact the innkeeper. There was an unusual odor in the room and I had to keep windows open at all times to keep fresh air circulating. It was disappointing. Good thing I was traveling alone because my wife NEVER would have stayed here--she would have immediately insisted we leave.

Nice cozy room, with everything we needed for a comfy stay. Much better than staying at a hotel chain. Just a few miles from the downtown of Hudson. I would certainly stay there again.

This place was a very beautiful property where me and my girlfriend got away for a week. The scenery was beautiful and you could even pick the berries. The owner was the sweetest human alive, and I say the only thing that I was nervous about was check in and out because as someone who has only stayed at hotels, the lack of a desk was confusing.. will definitely return

Only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay for one week! Beautiful grounds and our host, Steven, was super welcoming and greeted us once we arrived to check us in. Local cat also greeted us once we arrived (if you’re driving, check under your car before backing out!)

I like how close the hotel was to Hudson. That simplified my business trip. Micosta is more like a bed and no breakfast kind of place. I’m not positive but it seems like it is a converted large home. The cost was low and I would stay again.
