Ona Hacienda del Álamo Golf Resort

Las habitaciones están muy bien, son cómodas (menos las almohadas). La piscina está muy bien. Me pareció un poco caro 15€ por personas las camas balinesas (aunque incluyen dos bebidas por persona se hace caro), y había gente que hacía uso de ellas sin pagar. La animadora cero ánimo, siendo un hotel de estas características debería contar con más actividades (zumba, aquagym, animación con micrófonos, juegos para niños, etc) Para ser agosto cuentan con muy poco personal, desde el viernes por la noche al lunes x la mañana que me fui las pepeleras repletas de basura, todo caído en el suelo, una pena. (La hubiesen mandado a la "animadora" a recoger por lo menos la de la piscina así se ganaba un poco el sueldo. La comida tanto en desayuno como cena muy buena. El bar de fuera muy bien, todo muy rico y la chica de la noche muy amable. Pondría un par de mesas de ping pong más (solo una para todos el complejo es poco) y algunos juegos mas. El spa que esté cerrado es una pena, con esa instalación espectacular que tiene... Lo tienen como trastero. 😔

After last review I provided was asked to give it another go so I did. Staff still nice, service still slow and this time had someone else’s clothes I’m my room!? BEWARE!!! Swimming pool closed until early 2024 but hotels.com don’t tell people (it’s on the properties website but that doesn’t really help when booking on hotels.com) See other reviews saying the same thing…. also worth noting room doesn’t get cleaned or towels replaced for stays under 6 days - just crazy!? Real shame as this hotel could be great but needs some immediate changes to make it on par with others - it’s out of season but still things could be better

Not 4 star worthy. Make sure to do an upgrade, the cheepst rooms have no view or balcony. Very small room. Breakfast is very simple, and only buffet for dinner, no other choice. Nice pool area but it was closed of.

Pool was closed for all of our 9 day stay . Place was quite deserted to which we didn’t mind too much . Breakfast was OK and staff were very friendly and happy which made a difference . We had to ask for towels to be changed daily and the room was only cleaned every 4 days which was ok for us . Very peaceful place but if you need the pool you better check before booking .

Por lo general, hemos estado muy a gusto, el personal estupendo, muy amables y simpáticos, las instalaciones preciosas, la habitación estaba muy bien, la única pega es, que la habitación, la limpieza del suelo no estaba bien, y las camasían almonas para mí demasiado blandas, y en los jardines del hotel, donde la zona de las camas balinesas, estaba muy descuidado, y no se veía nada bonito, yo me imagino que todo esto se debe a falta de personal, la comida estaba bien, por lo general, hemos estado muy bien!!

Property nice, rooms clean albeit they smell. (1003) Staff nice enough however the two main issues are the service is shockingly slow in every single area. Staff are nice enough but checkin just painful, bar the same. if you want just a coffee at breakfast that’s EUR 13 as they only do the buffet - the bar which will sell you a coffee only opens at 1100 in high season?!?! Want a pool towel - no separate towel room you have to go to main reception (if you get your timings wrong) stand and wait for the painfully slow checkin service of others to then pay EUR12 - (10 refundable deposit) to get your towel which is also a slow process - never been to a 4star hotel where you pay and leave a deposit for a simple towel? The hotel try’s to run with the lowest number of staff, one staff member at the bar two nights back and I was in a queue of 17 long…. What with the slow service you can wait a good 30 minutes. Expected a lot better - Ona have a long long way to go if they are to match its Sheraton predecessor. Oh and the second point is the inordinate amount of flies - appreciate nothing can be done outside but at least try and control internally (no attempts visible) whilst we were there - I stress a-lot of flies

Ha estado muy bien , la habitación muy bien y el hotel es muy bonito , la piscina expectacular y el desayuno correcto , por poner un pero la limpieza estaría bien si la hicieran cada dos días y la zona de las camas balínesas deberían mejorarla , el personal muy atento , pero se ve que van a tope , necesitarían tener más personal

The room was fine and comfortable. The pool, Spa and aports center were closed. The golf course was in horrific shape. The restaurants in the community were closed. Felt like we were in a desolate movie lot. We paid for 2 nights, but stayed one and moved on.

We arrived at the hotel too early, not the hotels fault but check in was 4pm but we waited for 6 hours before we could check in. The lady at the reception said that the room was not ready and that we could check again later to see when it is ready . No water was offered . We waited 6hours . Although they said we could use the pool facilities. It was a very hot day and so many flies were about . We waited and then when we finally checked in, it was a twin bed. Not what was specified in the agents website. The room itself, first impression was good . But there was lots of hair on the floor. Which I put down to the cleaners mop.They need to change their mops regularly. There was no kettle in the room but there is a fridge. We later found out from another guest about a shop just a few minutes and you buy drinks extra from there . Also there is restaurants close by . But we booked half board so no need to go out for food. One thing I liked about our room is that the pool is in the front of it. There is lots of flies everywhere but that’s nature. The beds was very comfortable snd the air condition worked well. Breakfast and dinner , we went early in order to get a clean table. Food options to suit every palate and the food was delicious. Fresh fruits were served each time. Apart from the check in experience, we enjoyed our stay

Beautiful swimming pool and rooms. Good sunbeds. In 6 days there was no cleaning of tiling area around pool. Appeared to be little to no maintenance of outside areas. Poorest service ever received in a hotel.

El desayuno muy bien, pero la limpieza fatal. El primer día que entramos a la habitación estaba todo el suelo lleno de hormigas y ni cambiaron sábanas en toda la semana de alojamiento...a saber si antes de entrar yo cambiaron las sábanas.

We stayed here for a short break in early September, all in all we had a lovely break, however there are a few things that need dealing with before they become a bigger problem!! We knew the remoteness of the property so we had a hire car and had no issues with the location, actually we really enjoyed the location as we had day trips to Murcia, Cartagena, Mazzarron and Torrevieja all within an hours drive. The staff were lovely and friendly and the rooms and dining areas were clean and well presented. Food was good, typical buffet style but plenty of choice and fine for our 5 night stay. The issues were pretty much all as I had read in the previous reviews and unfortunately it doesn’t look like anything is being done to rectify them!!! The flies around the pool and outdoor areas I accept are pretty hard to deal with, but they are a real nuisance, I’m used to a few flies but this is really an issue here.. The pool is huge and fantastic and we enjoyed swimming, however the flies really spoilt our stay and we ended up heading out each day to the beach to escape them! Ants.. Everyday we had ants in the room! None when we arrived but I guess we must have disturbed them because they were relentless, we asked at reception but never fixed. Outdoor areas were looking unkept and in need of attention. So much potential here but it could go either way, Ona sort it out now or you will lose customers by not dealing with the issues, I see lots of lip service in your replies but no action!!!

Flies everywhere. Checked in our room and saw a long trail of ants from the door to the tv area and on the bad. Spoke to reception who said it would just be cleaned. Asked to be moved and was told this wouldn’t be happening. A shame really as we were visiting to look at properties to purchase on this resort. We ended up not staying and finding a clean hotel 45 minutes away.

Every thing perfect. Best matras since we left home.

Booked for 7 days at the last minute so no real choice. 2 single beds and no outdoor space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would re visit but would want some outdoor space.

Nice room & area, was convenient for our 2 nights. Downside: Not enough food options, maybe because it was quiet? No hair dryer or tea/coffee making facilities in room

We had to stop on the way, and chose this hotel. The rooms are big and comfortable with good views. But they are pretty old and there is a strong smell of dust. The room was so dirty that I refused to shower and went straight home. Found somebodies nail first thing when entered the bathroom. I am not gonna start on the bed, the way it was made and the strong odor.

On top of being lost for almost an hour, with no help from staff, which got us to the hotel past 10pm, we learned checkout was at 10am! No food in the hotel past 10pm, no room service, a small empty mini bar inside the room with not even a water bottle. Which is kind of incredible in a hotel that is so out of the way and has no businesses or services nearby. Worst of all was learning that they know about the Google GPS situation and have done nothing about it. No signs on the road, no written instructions on how to get here etc. In regards to the room, absolutely no ammenities. Just a liquid gel that serves as soap/shampoo/conditioner, really old and scrappy towels and a shower faucet that gets all the bathroom wet. This does not seem like a 4 star hotel and should not be advertised as such. And to top it all off, checkout at 10am no matter how late you checked-in. I certainly do not recommend this hotel.

The compound and hotel room were beautiful. However, the service at the restaurant was terrible. Hard getting drinks order in and we were told there weren’t any big bottles of water left only for the next few tables after us to be served the exact same order we had wanted. Food was good and plenty of choices at both breakfast and dinner buffets. Poolside was great albeit a little stressful. Hotel guests appear to be constantly pointing out ‘things’ for the staff to fish out in the pool - suspect these are potentially baby/children excrement. This happened on a daily basis. Poolside cleanliness can also be improved. Entertainment was good - great balance of peace and music/entertainment.

Hotel que quiere y no puede, falta de personal en el bar de piscina, sin experiencia, me tengo que levantar a por las servilletas y cubiertos,tengo que decir que limpien la mesa. El bar sólo abierto para rapas o carta hasta las 18.00 por lo tanto te obligan a ir al bufete para cenar. Hotel en medio de la nada en el campo con moscas por todos los lados.La salida de habitaciones a las 10.00 horas.

un hotel de cuatro estrellas que no te hacen la cama ni te limpian el baño, el horario de cafetería ponía a las 11 pero a las 9.50 ya no te servían, para pedir bebida en el bufete nunca había nadie, piscina vallada y las colchonetas sin poner, querían poner a mis hijas menores en otro pabellón, y tardaron así como 45 minutos en hacer en che in

Los colchones de las camas deberían de cambiarlos/renovarlos, horribles, desgastados, hundidos, tenías la cabeza más baja que los pies, te despertabas con malestar de espalda, y el sofá cama terrible también se notaban los muelles que se te clavaban. A la hora de comer muy poco personal atendiendo y el que había iban muy perdidos, por otro lado había colas para pedir un café, no se puede tener a una sola persona preparando cafés, cocktails, batidos, helados y a la vez cobrando para la magnitud de un hotel y encima en temporada alta, en pleno verano.

Lejos de todo pero muy bonito

Excelente opción para descansar. Buen desayuno, personal atento, piscina limpia y las instalaciones en muy buen estado. La única pega es que está un poco lejos de las principales ciudades e ir sin coche no es una opción recomendable. Por lo demás, super recomendable.

The property is in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, chicken poop fertiliser odour seemed to infuse every breath taken. The grounds, which have the potential to be amazing, lacked care. Rubbish and weeds prevailed…

Definitely need to eat at the hotel but food choice poor and was always like warm, they have provided a microwave in the dining room to warm your food which isn’t appropriate when it should be warm to start with. We hired a car but no restaurants or cafes nearby, local town quite deserted. Very little choice, one fish, one meat, pasta, salad, cheese and a small desert selection. No table service, but drinks can be purchased at the bar that were quite expensive. Advertised as a spa hotel with indoor pool which was the reason we booked but this was closed for refurbishment and likely to be for the next 12 months. Outdoor pool far too cold to use and possibly closed, no one went in it for the week of our stay. Check out was 10am, charged us 10€ per hour for additional hour of late check out. No entertainment other than a golf course and a pool table. Room was large and spacious, bed very comfortable but it was full of ants including on the bed. Ants didn’t necessarily bother us but would no doubt be off putting to others. Would not stay again.

Muy recomendable, teniendo en cuenta que necesitas coche y está dentro de un club golf. Sin embargo en media hora estas en las dos grandes ciudades Murcia y/o Cartagena. Hay una ciudad pequeña a unos 10min

Check in was great, very friendly staff, and room was great. Appreciate its low season but disappointing not to even have tea/coffee in the room as you have to go across to the golf club for all meals and drinks during October-April.

Nos dieron una habitación en la q hacía 40° y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien. Esa habitación debería estar preparada y con una temperatura agradable. Pero tuvimos que Dejar las cosas y salir corriendo a la piscina. El Restaurante tenía 2 personas para todos durante la cena Al acabar el desayuno pedí agua y me dijeron q ya estaba cerrado

Det enda bra med hotellet var poolen. Annars rekommenderar vi ett annat hotell. Vi var där som familj, men det var tyvärr mer ett partyhotell med väldigt dålig service och mat. Kvällsbuffen rekommenderas ej, och om man äter lunch i Casa Club på lunch och på kvällen är hamburgaren godare på lunchen. På kvällen fick vi en färdiggjord, typ Mc donalds burgare, trots att man beställde från samma meny. Utcheck var 10, vilket normalt är mellan 11-13.

Spijtig van het ontbijt en het dinner buffet, anders had ik meer sterren gegeven. Kamer was top, zwembad is groot en fantastisch. Stoelen maar 10% bezet in de week, je hebt de plaats voor jou alleen. Maar in de week is de bar niet open en moet je zelf voor drank zorgen. Er zijn supermarkten in fiente alamo op 5km. Wel veel vliegen omdat er veel varkenshouders zijn in de omgeving. Ontbijt en dinner in het clubhouse zijn ronduit slecht en daar wordt bijna niet gekuist.

The room was brilliant - one of the best rooms I've ever stayed in. The campus was great and the breakfast was ok, but the food service at dinner was appalling. It took about an hour and a half to get a drink and one course.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Die Musik im Bereich des Pools war zu laut, aber mir wurde dann ein ruhiges Zimmer zugewiesen - Danke. Da die gesamte Anlage in einem Agrargebiet liegt, liegt leider auch manchmal am Morgen der Duft von Schweinemast in der Luft. Am Frühstücksbüffet fehlt eine zweite Kaffeemaschine und so staute es sich in dem Bereich. Die Halbpension ist a la carte.
