The current owner has renovated the rooms and they are nice and clean. Ice machine was out of order. Owner stated he was waiting for a part, but he ran to a gas station and brought back a bag of ice very accommodating owner! I would stay here again

This is a no-frills motel. There is no pool or continental breakfasts, but it’s decent for a good night’s sleep. Staff was really friendly and hardworking. My room was clean. There were some rooms being worked on and those had furniture out in front of them. I’m sure it’s not the norm but that didn’t look too great. Rates were very reasonable.

I arrived at 11pm and had no problem getting checked in. Easy off the road. I was hauling a trailer and parking lot was lit up and easy to park. Fair priced and good night sleep.

Live ants and dead bugs in the bathroom. Trash all over parking lot and walkways. Stray cats everywhere, everytime you open the door they would try and get in the room. Had to reach behind the counter to get our own room key as no one was available to check us in. Waited 2 minutes trying to check out and no one was available once again. Very poor place.

Staff was nice. Check-in was fine. Dead bugs in shower. Shower handle was missing. The tub faucet was running and leaking all night. The room smelled really bad of smoking but was a no smoking room. There where gnats everywhere in the room.

The room was filthy. There were blood stains on the bedding. The tub had not been cleaned. People were smoking right outside our door and the room filled with cigarette smoke. We were tired from travel so we stayed but couldn’t wait for morning to come so we could leave asap! Avoid this hotel!!!

The property photo is not terribly indicative of the property. The best thing I can say is that the bed was comfortable and the room a good size. Unfortunately, the swipe key didn't work so we had to use an awkward metal key to get into and out of the room. When we arrived, there were wet towels lying at the door and no fresh ones in the room. Probably could have accepted that but someone in overhead or adjoining room (we couldn't tell) was lifting weights or something and dropping them every couple of minutes. The ceiling shook and our dogs went off every time it happened. When I went to complain to the office, it was closed with a "back in 45 minutes" note but it was timed more than an hour before I arrived. We chose the hotel because it was a quick stop on a long drive and close to the halfway point. It was OK for that but I wouldn't choose it as a place to stay for more than 8 hours.

pros: Room is big, inside the room, its clean. cons: Uncomfortable spring mattress, trash floating around the property, zero insulation More Details around Noise: Stopped by around 1AM as we are on a road trip, Tried to get some sleep before we hit the road again. I could literally hear everything the neighbors were talking at 4 AM and baby crying on the other side), I could feel there is nothing between the walls (wafer thin). If you want good sleep, stay else where.

The office had a strong Marijuana smell and the clerk gave us a room that was already being used by other guests. The shower head was best for people five feet tall and shorter. The television had limited channels. There were notissues in the room. The carpet was unraveling at spots.

This is a 1 star hotel. Non-smoking room wreaked of smoke. No bath exhaust fan, bathroom door wouldn’t close and shower head hits normal height person on lower back only. Ice machine broken and towels paper thin. Pillows and bed hard and uncomfortable. Strange carpet smell like pet odor. Tried to check out at 7:00 AM and front desk door was locked tight. Would not recommend nor would I stay here again.

An excellent, small hotel! Comfy beds and pillows, quiet and clean rooms, lots of convenient, free parking, a courteous and helpful staff - Manager Nicole was great! And the hotel is reasonably-priced and pet friendly. We enjoyed the retro New Orleans vibes, with all of the pretty iron railings, and the fun fall/Halloween decorations. Several minutes off the highway, but totally worth it!

I paid upfront. I Confirmed with you directly the room is available. We drove for a whole day and being told no vacancy! The hotel did not give me a room and even refused a refund! If you do FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, I dont think you should open booking on expedia and take people’s money.

When I arrived at the New Orleans Inn, I went into the lobby and no one was there. The door was open and the lights were on, but the desk was unattended. I waited for a few minutes and then tried to call the hotel only to find the phone had been left on the desk- which was unattended. I waited for 30 minutes and no one came to check me in. At that point I contacted Expedia and spoke with a supervisor who was able to get in touch with a manager of the hotel. The manager came out and gave me a room key and a paper showing my room number and I left to go to my room. Upon using the key to get into the room, a small dog came charging out and I saw a half naked woman laying on the bed- the manager had given me a room that was already occupied. At that point, I demanded a refund and my kids and I loaded back up to go home. I will NEVER attempt to stay at this hotel again.

The room itself was pretty nice even though a bit outdated it was worth the price paid. The outside of the building is kind of old and not very clean, could use some updates. Dining is very limited. We went to another town to have supper that was 12 miles away. The staff was very friendly!

Upon arrival at this hotel it looked nothing like the pictures posted on Expedia. This area did not look safe and the hotel looked very run down. After talking with a local in a small town nearby he stated that the hotel is not what it used to be. We did not feel safe staying in this area and when trying to call the hotel 2 times we did not get anyone to answer so we decided to go to another town and find a hotel. We feel the pictures of the hotel online should be updated to show the current state of the property.

Pictures were deceiving. Pictures looked very nice but when you arrived it was very run down and bad condition. The motel was also in a very bad part of town. It reeked of marijuana as soon as you walked in to your room. When we went to the main office to check in we had to knock on the desk multiple times because the desk clerk was taking a nap in the supply room. The only good part about it was the adorable cat that greeted us any time we opened our door.

Listen, yes it's an older hotel. But is was clean, comfortable and the staff was so nice especially when we had a late check in at 2am. I would stay here again. Down the street there is a great restaurant, local place called Katie's dinner. It's a must go for great food

Basic motel. Staff friendly and honest. Was given a better rate upon check in due to the length of our stay which was a huge plus. Advertised a King bed with jacuzzi tub. No jacuzzi tub and unablebto use tub due to no plug. Bed a bit firm and pillows a little lumpy. However this is best hotel we have stayed at within a 25 mi radius of my family's location. So would stay again at our next visit. A must is having breakfast at Katy's Diner about .5 miles away. Great food, service for the price. The bar/grill next door does have good food as well.

The rooms were very clean very cool air. However, my brother's room was full of flies and mosquitoes. My suggestion is please keep the doors close while cleaning the rooms. I didn't like it when they didn't have any breakfast. Otherwise it is a wonder clean place to stay.

It was quite and the room was ok I booked a queen size bed and they gave me a room with two beds in it which was ok the staff was great the only problem that I had was there was really no place to eat other than that it was good
