I would highly recommend this property. It is a safe alternative to downtown New Orleans with free parking, friendly staff, clean rooms, and a good breakfast, and it is locally owned. It’s only about a 15 min drive from downtown to the property, and the price is a fraction of what you would pay. With that being said, it is an older property, so you should keep that in mind.

The room, lobby and the parking lot was clean. The staff here is Amazing; I wish I could remember everyone names. From the receptionist we met on the 1st night, to Mrs. Tammy, the cleaning crew, and the super mom receptionist that gave me a hug as I was leaving. I love them all and thank you for making my daughter & I feel welcome. I'll be back!

Never seen housekeeping the whole weekend. Had to ask front desk for coffe packs for the coffee pot, 2 days in a row. To which the girls at the front desk were great and very helpful.

We were pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms. The front desk staff and room cleaners were exceptionally wonderful. It was very quiet at night. The breakfast was very good. Our only complaint is that it is a smoking hotel and the hallways and elevator smelled like stale cigarette smoke.

All in all it was fine. Good variety breakfast choices. All in all clean. Although would have appreciated more housekeeping. We stayed 4 nights sheets were never changed, room never cleaned. Fresh towels were offered once!!

I stayed two nights. At the checking I asked to have the room cleaned and my bed done and trash removed after the first night, but nothing happened. Lot of nosy movements during the night, slamming doors and loud people.

51st high school reunion. Hotel was less than a mile away from venue. Room immaculate. Air conditioning excellent. Bed comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator in the room. That is definitely a plus for me.

The price is reasonable but the location is not that convenient to tourism. Room is old and smelled. The worst is noise. The wall is not soundproofed. My room is in 1st floor even I request a quiet room. You can hear people from the next room or upper level talked either in early morning or late night.

This place is nasty and noisy. Don’t allow your healthy, non drug user family member to stay here. The staff couldn’t care any less about your concerns and are very dismissive. You will be at least half an hour from anywhere.

Alicia was amazing: welcoming, cheerful, friendly, helpful. Wonderful! Sherry the next morning was also wonderful: enjoyed talking with her about Gulf Coast phenomena, GREAT guidance on cruise terminal access, driving. Very nice, affordable, comfortable hotel 20 minutes from downtown.

We take cruises that depart from New Orleans and this has become our hotel of choice to stay at while awaiting the cruise. The front desk staff is really friendly, the rooms are clean, there is enough to eat at breakfast, the area is safe, their are places to eat dinner, the cost is reasonable, and it is fairly close to the cruise port. What more could we ask for.

You were far away from things that New Orleans were known for the fun stuff. It would be a bit of a travel, but other than that the hotel was clean. They even offered a continental breakfast staff and check-in asking if the guests needed anything

We drove by this property a week before staying there. Parking lot was very dark and needed to he paved. There were mops and other items out side the front door. There should have a home other than the entrance. We didn't go inside at all. I fretted about our stay but decided from the reviews it would be jut fine. On the dat of our arrival, December 31, 2023, i learned that this property we NOT pet friendly. I eas traveling with a 17 pound schnauzer. They do NOT shed. Mine is house broken and just a sweet little boy. I called the property to tell them i had just realized they were not pet friendly and asked for an exception. Even offered to pay a refundable pet deposit. The answer we NO. I was stuck having ro pay for a room at a 2 star property that was very run down on thw ouside, and didn't use the room. Just kept driving to Texas, new years eve night. Also, this propery is very hard to get to and find. It is out of the way of everything, that didn't matter to us as we were just traveling through to texas and didn't come to see or go to any attractions. I give this propery a negative rating.

Staff is amazingly helpful and polite. The front desk lady did everything in her power to make my stay as good as possible. Be prepared to pay between 100-140 USD on Uber every day. It is absolutely far and inconvenient, with nothing to do around there. Weed smell all over the property. Regret not booking a hotel downtown because I have spent double the amount on this room. Do not recommend.

We came down for the Krewe of Boo Halloween Parade in New Orleans. The hotel was just a short drive away from downtown, Bourbon Street & the French Quarter. The rooms were nice and clean, the property was very clean also. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We didn’t make it to breakfast, but it looked like it would have been good as well. You can’t go wrong staying here!!!

I stayed here for Mardi Gras weekend 2023 as this was the cheapest option I could find. I did not feel I sacrafied anything tho. The Algeris Ferry is about 20 minutes away with free parking around the streets so if anything I saved a lot by staying here and on this side of the river. This hotel is located on a busy route so it can be noisy with the traffic, trucks, and trains. Riverside Hotel was clean and quiet. I slept well every night. Every time I walked by the front desk, I was happily greeted by a staff member regardless of the time of day. The bathroom was clean. Breakfast is like 6am to 9am so I did not get a chance to sample anything of it. I would recommend this place overall.

This was a very clean property that served our purpose perfectly. We just wanted someplace comfortable to stay one night while we picked up our daughter from college. No complaints and the breakfast in the AM was a great convenience. Lots of shopping and dining close by as well. Would highly recommend.
