We stay here a few times a year when visiting family. However, next time we will consider other properties, as the maintenance of the overall building and rooms seems to be falling behind, e.g., curtain rods not replaced, just removed, paint peeling or not matching, etc. Also, with two Hilton properties adjacent to each other, it would have been nice if they had incorporated an EV charger at least between the two sites.

Place was convenient to stop by for the night customer service was good. Elevator has a weight limit and one was only working, ac is controlled by the wall but room was not cool enough had to lower it all the way to 65 to get the air flowing it was slowly cooled by the time we fell asleep. And not sure what the hearing was for om the app for the room if the nooise levels were ridiculously high I could hear next door conversation and opening and closing doors running around Beds where a little harsh and not very comfortable due to springs in the mattresses maybe the should be updated changed to firmer more comfortable ones. Both beds had their pillows but the minute we set our heads on them all were flat.

This is our go to property when visiting Edinburgh, McAllen and the RGV. It's new and clean. However, I wish they offered an on-site option at this or the neighbor property for EV charging.

We enjoyed playing pool in the main lobby. The walls are a little thin and there isn’t carpet in the rooms which makes the walking sound loud. We were three people in the room and they only gave us two towels. However, we were able to get more without any problems.

The staff was nice and always greated us with a smile. While we didn’t utilize any of the games in lobby it was great to see those options. Our only complaint, which we didn’t complain about it as it wasn’t terrible, was our room smelled a little like cigarette smoke. But it wasn’t unbearable. We did let staff know when we were checking out.

The room is tiny, with not enough space for clothes The hotel Allows guests to drink in the parking lot and around the property; I think this spoke badly about the hotel, The rooms are noisy; I guess there is insufficient insulation between the walls. For the price, it is okay, but for 25 dollars extra, I will definitely go for a better hotel next time

Checking in took forever since they were training a new employee, I figured ok. New employee was nice, gave us our room key went upstairs to room AC working just fine room was cold as expected, however too much sunlight coming in thru windows, tried closing shade however shade was broken would not go up or down it was locked broken at the middle of window alllowing too much sunlight and heat thru. Made employees aware they just said ok and did nothing about it. Next day took a shower and there’s was absolutely no water pressure water just dribbled out and took it anyways. Told employees once again and hopefully they did do something about it so it won’t happen to another patron after me. The hotel is too new to have such problems. This is my 5th time staying there and first 4 times never Gad any problems

We were one hour to an hour and a half early to hotel and was being charged extra for early check-in when rooms were ready for us to go into of which I have never been charged. Manager waived the early charges for one room, which was appreciated and had to wait for another room to avoid the charge. Very disappointed with "Barbie Doll house furniture in room; I have never seen this kind of furniture with no closest, coffee maker, or ice bucket, only small refrig. asked for two assistance room and only got one with same furniture!

Checked in at 11pm, room did not have functional AC, they claimed they reset remotely and its a kmowm issue for them, they are working on it, finally at 230am they moved our family to 4th floor in new room from 3rd floor. In the 4th floor room, commode flush was not operational. Since we had traveled from Houston and we were dead tired, we just decided to sleep and deal with it in morning. In the morning, front desk reluctantly gave us another room with functional bathroom. Worst experience ever. No apologies, no regrets, just worst customer services for 150$ a night plus tax.

Second time staying there and the first time staff was excellent very welcoming and nice but this last time staff was very dry and just seemed to be upset to be at work. The young lady that checked us in had a look on her face like we were bothering her and she did not want to even speak to us. My husband walked in first and she completely ignored him and then when I walked in she looked at me like what do you want. I couldn’t help but be extra nice to see if maybe her attitude would change and nope didn’t happen. The next morning I told another lady about it and she said oh she’s new! Wow I guess it’s ok to be rude and unprofessional when your new. Then that night I didn’t get to fall asleep till about 1:30am because other quests were outside bbq’n with loud music and when you called the front desk they would just say ok thanks for letting us know! Hopefully no one experiences this type of hospitality because it really is a nice hotel in a very good location.

We've stayed at this TRU and others many times. This stay soured us on the chain forever. Checkin staff was rude and unprofessional. The room air didn't work nor did the refrigerator. It sounded like a party was taking place directly above us. We asked to be moved and were treated like we were a bother. The second room was on the opposite side of the hotel so while quieter, the refrigerator also did not work in this room and the toilet ran continuously. The bed was hard as a board but good pillows. I'd say, pay additional to stay elsewhere. We've stayed here twice, there won't be a third time. Avoid!!!

The breakfast was a little disappointing..... cooked options were fried potatoes and sausage.....no scrambled eggs just hard boiled eggs....then they subsided the fried potatoes with potatoes and chorizo (which was a bit on the spicy side).... When I made the reservation it was $100 a night and when I paid it came out to $163 total, I know there's taxes and fees but my reservation was $114 total for 1 night including taxes and fees..... the clerk said she fixed the charges and the difference would be refunded to my credit card...... Beautiful,new, modern and inviting hotel.

I stayed at Tru Hilton Edinburg as I was attending a Social Worker's conference at UTRGV. The Hotel is very nice and very clean. The king size bed was very comfortable and I liked the walk in shower with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided. Breakfast was also great with a variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel. Staff was also very friendly and made great local restaurant recommendations.
