Spacious, clean, easy to check in and out. Nice service apartment. Centrally located. 5-10mins walk to all bars and restaurants. Only shortcoming is TV channel is very limited. Suggest hotel to consider adding subscription to sports channels/ set-top box.

The communication was almost straight away when contacting them with any queries. The place was actually even better than how it looks in the photos. It exceeded our expectations. Car parking and digital key was straight forward and clear instructions and even a video were provided. We would definitely stay here again. I'd say it is 5 star not 3 star.

The condo was lovely. Everything looked brand new. All that we needed for our stay in Waterloo. View was wonderful, pool was great. We decided to stay on extra night and had to go through all of the check-in process again, it was a little annoying. Please note that parking is an extra $20.00 per night. It is on site and very safe and convenient though. Would definitely recommend staying there.

My recently stay at this hotel was generally pleasant experience. The bed was comfortable enough, though at times it felt like the mattress was uneven, which affected my sleep a bit. The cleanliness was decent but could have been a little better in certain areas. The highlight of the stay was definitely the staff , they were friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any requests or questions. I also appreciated the location; there were several dining options within easy walking distance, which made meals very convenient. One downside was the confusion around the pool access. The hotel advertises an outdoor pool, but as of May 2025, there was a note on the pool door suggesting it was for residents only, which wasn’t clearly communicated ahead of time. Overall, it was a great stay with a few minor issues, but the excellent staff and convenient location made up for most of it. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others

Coffee maker did not work. As well I booked months in advance. Not until the week we were arriving we were told parking was an additional $20 if there was space. Did not know if I had parking until morning of arrival. Other than that the accommodations were a 5

Very clean and modern. My only concern with the apartment was the bed. It was very uncomfortable. Our heads were sinking back into headboard and bed space. The sides of the bed frame were buckling out and very flimsy. It seems the bed was too small for the frame as it was sinking inwards. That made for a poor night’s sleep. Also, when I went to use the pool with my daughter, we were able to go through the glass doors where there was a lounge and bar but our key wouldn’t work for the door to the pool. Then some rude Russian? “maintenance guy” was knocking on the glass and angrily signaling us to use the other door at end of hall way beside an elevator that was beside the gym and then he left abruptly and mumbling. We tried that one too but no luck. So I had to open the gym door and ask someone in there to open the door for us. That kind of made it a little stressful with a small child.

Excellent location. Nice to have a spacious, nicely decorated and very modern space with full kitchen. The one downside keeping this from a 5* review was the parking. The garage is a pain to drive in with an SUV and when I booked, all the spots reserved for the Laundry Rooms were full, so I had to drive around and around with staff on the phone directing me to other "secret" spots also owned by the property. Also, check in and key access via phone had me anxious about keeping my phone charged but that could just be my Gen X side talking.

Very disappointed that my credit card was charged in USD despite being an accommodation in Canada and on a booking site with other properties all in CAD. Felt like I was deceived. There was also a lot of pet hair throughout and I was not informed prior to arrival that my room was pet friendly.

The fridge has an error code and has been beeping since I arrived. Before bed I realized that the beeping was coming from the fridge. No was to stop it. It kept me up all night. When I arrived the check in digital key didn't open any doors. Had to contact via text and ask for help. Was given physical key cards. There was an angry, screaming woman in the elevator when I arrived which made me feel unsafe. The unit had been cleaned but there were hairs on the throw pillows and in the shower and on the bathroom floor. This was really gross, to say the least. I'm not impressed with my stay at all and will not stay here again.

The temperature in the room was uncomfortably high. We tried to turn down the thermostat with no effect whatsoever. We ended up opening windows. The suite was not overly clean. The rug in the living area had debris (popcorn) on it. There was hair in the bathroom sink and a lot of hair beneath the bed and headboard. Though the linens were nice, the bed mattress itself was of poor quality. I have back issues and had a horrible nights sleep due to the mattress. There is room for a king mattress and would recommend upgrading. The TV does not receive network channels. So we could not watch prime time sporting events as we had hoped. A basic channel lineup would be a welcome addition. The property is in an ideal location and includes many nice features. Unfortunately the above feedback would prevent us from returning.

I stayed in the 2-bed 2-bath suite at Laundry Rooms Waterloo. The condo is new and everything was perfect. All the accommodations of home with a nice view from the 8th floor through floor-to-ceiling windows from the spacious living room+kitchen area. Bed, pillows, and duvet were equivalent to a 4/5 star hotel. Once you understand how to get through all the doors with your OpenKey app, it was easy. Kitchen had plenty of new plates and utensils with standard-size fridge, range, oven, dishwasher, etc. Would definitely choose Laundry Rooms over a hotel.

This is the first time I’ve walked into a room that is EXACTLY like the photos on the website. And it still blew us away. 5 of us stayed for 2 nights. The unit was absolutely breathtaking. The interior design and fixings were 10/10. The amenities were wonderful. Parking was easy. Outdoor kitchen with barbecue. Full kitchen and everything you need. I was really worried about not having a person to greet us in person, it’s the first time I stayed anywhere without a front desk. But it was honestly so easy and the concierge was helpful and responded to texts immediately and answered the phone when I called. It was honestly just a wonderful experience.

Very disappointing experience. Was given a room with the incorrect specs that we had booked for - two twins instead of a queen. There wasn’t hot water and communication with The Laundry rooms was very poor on an ETA or fix checked out early the next morning as we require access to showers when traveling especially for business. Won’t stay again.

First time at a property that didn't have a front desk. The key was a bit tricky to figure out, and we had to ask for help. But our call was returned right away and the clerk very helpful. The garage doesn't have very good signage to tell you how to get into the hotel, so that was a struggle. Once inside though, the room was AMAZING. Lovely minimalist decor, well stocked kitchen, comfy bed. Would highly recommend and stay there again!

If you are looking for a kitchen and convenient location, this is a great choice. Walkable to parks, excellent food options, cute coffee shops and shopping. Also close to the universities. Convenient digital key system via your phone. Nice layout with open kitchen. I’ve stayed here twice now and would book again.

Beautiful unit and straightforward contactless checkin. The location is wonderful, many great bars and restaurants in the area to walk to and enjoy. Busy place on the weekends cause of the students, however safe to walk around and the property is still quiet from being at a hotspot in Waterloo!!

We enjoyed the PH at the Laundry Rooms during UW grad week. A fantastic location that is accessible to everything we needed including walkable to all the restaurants we visited (and the restaurants were very good). Nice to have an apartment atmosphere with a full kitchen even if we only needed it in the mornings. A huge wrap around deck was nice although so high up we did not use it much. Shower had a low-flow showerhead which is great for the environment but a bit disappointing for actually getting clean in the morning. We were able to visit LaLa in the building, a private club but they said it was accessible to guests of the Laundry Rooms - a real benefit that we did not learn from the listing nor during check-in. Highly recommend this place and we will return if we get back to Waterloo.

Easy to to check-in / out. Place has enough space for the family of 2 or 4 and quite comfy. Advise to book the upgraded 2 bedroom unit with 2 balconies - it worth it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice touch to have few coffee cartridges at the kitchen to have the day started. Ground floor Club members restaurant LaLa Social House is the great place to dine. Walking distance to everything.

Great space for longer stays - area is full of nightlife, restaurants and bars. It’s pretty hands-off (not a typical hotel, more of an Air bnb apartment) but staff is very fast to text back any questions I had. Access was easy once you get there and the room is well finished with dishes, pots pans etc. and a dishwasher. Very quiet building too. We would definitely stay here even just for a weekend as the area is great to hang out in. One note: if you don’t like using your phone to open every door - you can ask for a key card. I didn’t but it would have been more convenient for sure.
