I loved this place so much, I think I'll book my next stay there as well. The staff was extremely courteous, the property is absolutely gorgeous, and breakfast? Beyond delicious. Despite the age of the building, everything in the room is modern, while still retaining all of its vintage charm. The surrounding yard, cared for by the staff, is picturesque as well. Situated 20 from Ithaca, and 7 mins from Taughannock Falls State Park, the inn is ideally situated, while far enough to be a quiet place to rest. Absolutely would recommend.

Gothics Eve far exceeded our expectations! Rose is such a joy to be around. We had a last minute need and she had everything prepared for us within just a few hours. We stayed in the Merlot room which was nice! Beautiful bathroom and step down bedroom. Clean, comfortable (the shower was amazing with optional body sprayers. Pressure and temperature were perfect) - the land is beautiful and food was delicious. Rose has a beautiful display of crystals and art as well. We didn’t get to use the spa but we will absolutely be back soon! Gothics Eve has set the bar high for B & B’s for us!

I have been here twice with my partner and have LOVED it each time. We will most likely be returning in the future but for now I recommend y'all try it out! We had the "Pinot" room with jacuzzi and it was worth every penny!

The best part about our stay was our host, Michelle, she gave the best local recommendations. Everything she told us to check out was fantastic, like the local farmer’s market. Communication was excellent, even before we arrived. The house itself was lovely & historic. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet: we slept very well. We appreciated the mini fridge with freezer in the common area. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Next time we come back we will definitely book a spa treatment in their building next door. We would definitely stay here again and we would highly recommend this place to our friends and family.

The property was nice, but I do not think it warrants such a high price. We have stayed in many BnB over the years, and this was one was a pricey ones. And we have stayed many times in the area, so we know the prices for stays. I was expecting more, a bit more pampering. Towels were scratchy, the bathrobe non absorbing because it was polyester not cotton.The light in shower didn’t work, along with a very difficult shower knob on turning water on and off. The water ran a lot longer because we couldn’t get it to turn off. I afraid we would break it. Very loud window room air conditioner. Also, altjough we did not use it, there was a charge to use the hottub. I have never encountered that. Host very nice, breakfast was great.

Everything was just so beautiful, from the gardens, the art in the home and the layout of the home! Our host, Rose, was so serene and kind. She gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and activities, she was wonderful! Our breakfasts were delicious, locally sourced, hearty and decadent. The spa was one of the best massages I have ever had! We will definitely return!

I really enjoyed my stay in the Inn. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated however it didn't have a closet. The closet and ironing board were the only things I needed in the room. Other than that I have no complaints about my stay. I highly recommend this place. The stuff were super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast super delicious and every morning was something different. The stuff accommodated your food preferences. Michelle who works there was very sweet and helpful.

We loved our 5 night stay at the Gothic Eves! The warm welcoming atmosphere and lovely hosts, Michelle and Melissa enhanced our stay! The inn was decorated with lovely accommodations keeping with the lakes theme of the area! The room had a rainfall shower, with a rock pathway leading to the shower and waves tile! The room had lovely decorated bedding and drapes with a nice light over the slate wall over the bed which added a nice atmosphere! Other special touches, fresh cut flowers in the room and around the inn, complimentary water bottles and seltzer, wine bucket in the room, candies by the bed and beautiful lighting and mirrors! Lots of thought put into the decor! We would highly recommend staying at the Gothic Eves if in the Finger Lakes!

This Gothic style property, unfortunately was very disappointing. The queen size bed we slept in was in very bad shape, very unsupportive and sagging. Even though the room had a thermostat, this thermostat did not control the temperature. We woke up to a freezing cold room that no matter what we did, the heat would not come on. The size of the bedroom and bathroom are very small and inadequate. For a room that cost over $300 a night we would’ve certainly have expected more. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

What a wonderful base from which to explore the Finger Lakes! A beautifully appointed B&B with knowledgeable and kind staff, centrally located just beyond Ithaca between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. Trumansburg has its own joys, but the Eves are strategically located conveniently to many area attractions, including the wineries of course, but also Corning Museum, Skanateales, Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, Womens’ Rights Historical Park, and Watkins Glen. Taughannock Falls is practically in its backyard. And, when you’re done exploring, the B&B is a welcoming oasis of rest and peacefulness. Excellent in all respects!!!!

The Wife and I were visiting local waterfalls and this BnB was centrally located and was an excellent base-camp for our adventures. If you’re used to BnB’s, this one ranks highly!
