parking lot had surveillance cameras so didn't have to worry about car break in or theft.

The hotel was ok but the pool was closed, my tv didn't work, and the video check-in was the dumbest thing I've seen. The credit card machine was down too and the atm didn't work either but didn't see any homeless people or drug addicts or anything.

Check in was quick and easy. Pool being closed was a bummer. Appreciate how bright the parking lots are at night and security cameras around the building.

Checked in and went immediately to the front desk and checked out. Roaches in room and extremely dirty in the hallways and room. The ice machines and elevator did not work and I was in the third floor. Check in was horrible as I had to talk to someone on a video chat machine while the employee stood there and did nothing. They indicated they would refund my stay but did not see that come through. Orbitz should discontinue working with this location.

I wish the parking lots were not so tore uo got a flat tire

The building was a bit run down. Elevators were broken, pool was closed, signage was a bit confusing. Also, check-in was done through a video kiosk despite the human next to it.

Really Loud AC, broken ice machine.

Anything was wrong. The air conditioner did not work. The pool was out of order. The fitness room was out of order. I did not sleep well the room was hot.

Advertisement said free breakfast, No Breakfast, pool was closed, ice machine and elevator were both out of order. Nothing to transport luggage. I would not recommend or stay here again!

AC worked great! Had microwave and fridge. Plenty of room to move around. No carpet in room wich is fine for dogs but the gallway is hard floor also and without the AC on high you would be able to hear people talking out there most of the night!!! Bathroom sink clean but miror and wall behind the faucet wasn't clean!

No WiFi. Smells terrible. Blankets on the bed were very dirty. Tried to charge me again for the room. I do need a receipt for the room so that I can get refunded. Will never stay in a motel 6 again

The kiosk was very hard to hear and understand the operator. The bathroom was dirty and the towels were stained. There was mold in the shower area.

Room was full of cockroaches and bed was infested with bugs.

Bed sheets and bed spread was very dirty. Couldn't stay even though they wouldn't give us a refund.

Covers had human and dog hair on them. Towels had yellow stains and hair on them. Toilet had hair on it

The parking lot is down in back, there were lights, seemed safe enuf. The entryway STUNK of Marijuana, A LOT OF MARIJUANA. The room seemed ok, but was hot, so I went to turn on AC, the unit was filled w dirt n dust. I had driven 900 miles, so I was exhausted, or I'd have left. The towels were not clean, the bedding smelled, and the next morning I saw mold in the shower caulking. I'm just disgusted, woke to find that and just left hours before I wanted to. I will NEVER return there.

I don't expect a lot from Motel 6 in terms of amenities but I do expect a clean room free of vermin. I ended up killing 6 roaches in 5 minutes, one of which was crawling on my shoe. I saw at least one roach scoot under the bed so I'm sure there were plenty more hiding. I was offered a different room when I went to the kiosk but the problem clearly extended beyond just my room (Room 217 btw). I stayed in the room less than 3 hours, not even undoing the sheets on the bed so I will be expecting a full refund. I'm happy to provide more information including a picture of smashed roach if requested.

The room was recently freshened up.

There was no viable wifi signal. Weren't able to connect at all during they stay. There was hallway and upper floor noise most of the stay as well.

For the price I honestly do not know why somebody would complain. The room is updated nicely. Has a microwave and refrigerator and nice television. I am not complaining, but does not have a hair dryer and only has coffee in the morning just so you are aware. Walkable restaurants and easy to get to there. I would for sure stay here again. I paid for two nights, what I would have paid for one at other hotels in the area.

The parking was easy and there was enough space. The room is good for what you pay. Since this was just a one night stay we weren’t expecting much. The room was a good size however the pillowcase did have discoloration and some dirt marks.

From the moment I arrived, I was not welcomed. There was a man at the front desk who pointed to the kiosk for me to check in. He had a very thick Indian accent, so I couldn’t understand him very well at all. I was in the middle of Illinois! I proceeded to try to use the kiosk, but it wasn’t working very well. The IT girl on the screen also had a very thick accent, so it was very hard to understand her as well. I’ve never seen one of those kiosks for check before. I asked why the guy inside couldn’t help me with check-in and he proceeded to lock the office door and walk himself right out the building without helping me! the halls stunk of marijuana!. we then proceeded to our room. The bathroom light was extremely dim at best! I had to put my make up on in the hall where the lighting was somewhat better. The refrigerator was turned off so we couldn’t put our cold drinks into the refrigerator. There was no alarm clock to check the time in the middle of the night. it looks like a dog had chewed up one of the trim pieces. The pillows were like bags of rocks on my ear. I could hear someone talking in the next room because the walls were so thin! Only hotel I’ve ever stayed at without a hairdryer. This is definitely one of my worst experiences in my life!

Decent clean room

The check-in and check-out process is done via live feed with an off-site employee. It was a bit confusing, as our accents got in the way. The “deluxe room” was standard size, nothing too special. It did have a small fridge (that was almost cold) and a microwave. The elevator was broken (and had been for a while) and all of the rooms required stairs to get to…1st floor was down a few, 2nd floor was up a few, 3rd floor (where I stayed) was up a full flight plus. The pool was out of order and I could easily hear the conversations from other rooms when I walked through the hallway. The outside door (that requires a keycard) would not close/lock properly, so there was no need for a key card to gain access to the building. Housekeeping came into my room during the day to clean, even though I was only staying 2 nights. The linens were stained. My stay was ok. I haven’t decided if I will stay there again and request a different type of room.

The “check in kiosk” was weird, I’ve never before checked in with a virtual agent and a video call, but it worked. The list of “rules” like not having guests after 9pm was off-putting, but also who’s going to be there to enforce it? The talking robot at the lobby? The room was clean, it was in ok repair, and it was comfortable. I didn’t go into this stay expecting five star service, so I wasn’t disappointed.

No onsite staff. Check-in was via a kiosk, which was odd. Room was dirty. Towels were either dirty or stained which is gross either way. Same with the sheets and bed covering. There was a phone in the room, but not connected to anything. Two nights in a row I had to get a new key because it wouldn't open the room door. That was also done via a kiosk. Other people staying there were very load and made it difficult to sleep. There were strange characters in the parking lot. Made me feel unsafe. If you are still reading this, you should stay somewhere else. I wish I had.

Use of any stairs was very confusing. Only found 1 set that actually went to both floors. And the doors to them weren't marked as stairs. And the elevator was out of order which was also inconvenient. Very impersonal. Had a kiosk greeter whom I could barely understand and hear. Gave a whole new meaning to hands free!

Vending machine broken, no ice machines (completely removed). Check in person talks through a kiosk.. no personal touch.

The hotel is clean and remodeled. The problem for me was the outsourced staff. It had a vending machine like feel in the front area with staff outsourced from India and Chile. They will tell you Florida but it’s not true. There are no humans for staff on site. It reminded be by Covid times or the movie last man on earth. I like the human interaction much better. Short of that the hotel was nice clean and looked remodeled.

Always take care of me and are the nicest staff that go out of their way to make u comfortable and feel at home

Over all a good experience. Would have been great, but the kiosk check in was what I was very disappointed with. Very hard to understand whoever was"on screen" and was not user friendly. Not sure why they are doing the virtual check in... definitely not a plus... keep human at front desk!!!

I was very dubious after entering the lobby because of its stark bareness. There there were older people behind the office window, they would not talk to me and directed me to a virtual check in where a young lady was on the screen. It seemed very impersonal and she mentioned nothing about an included breakfast. We entered behind the motel from the parking lot on to the first floor which looked its age and had a terrible smell about it. We took the elevator to the second floor where we found our studio room. The hallway look like it was freshly painted and had new carpet. The studio was very roomy and looked like it was recently renovated. The most important thing was that it was quiet and the bed was very very comfortable. Both of us had an excellent sleep.

Nasty rude customer service!!!!

Property was clean. Area around property a little shady. Check-in was a nihhtmare. Seriously, checking in with a person through a machine. The person having a foriegn accent and had to constantly ask her to speak slower, so i could understand what she was staying.

Awful, bad part of town, nasty rooms, no front desk person, you talk to a kiosk. Everything is broken

No staff on site. Check in done via kiosk and ring doorbell. Room smelled like urine, parking lot had terrible parking. Everything is out of order. No elevator, pool, gym, etc. Terrible area, parking is insecure. A long stay tenant was yelling at her kids. Stay away

The property was OK. I didn’t like the driving in the area.

The room was clean and comfortable. The second floor hallway echoed audibly as I walked on it (and I only weigh 135 lbs). Online reservation was easy. The staff was friendly, but I found it awkward to only be able to communicate with them via video screen rather than a live person at the counter. For check out, I didn't see anyone for a few minutes even after tapping on the screen, but someone eventually appeared. Not having a live person made it hard to understand where my room was in relation to multiple parking lots.

Minutes away from all kids of available stores ect nice to be able to save and exercise by walking
