Tru By Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place

The hotel is next to a Red Roof Inn that looks kinda sketchy during night time. I was uneasy about leaving our u-haul truck by it over night. Everything was fine in the morning, so no worries there! The rest of the area around the hotel looked and felt safe. We were able to find plenty of open parking spots in the back of the hotel to park our 26’ U-haul. The staff were super nice. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The hotel was very quiet and super clean. The price was decent for a 1 night stay in a 2 Queen bedroom. The breakfast was decent and I would 10/10 recommend the Tru By Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place!

The hotel looks like it was bought by Hilton and fixed up. I've been in other Tru locations that were brand new, so I think I was expecting some areas in the hotel to be better. The hallways especially seemed in need of new carpeting and maybe brighter lighting. I did feel unsafe to park my car there. The area is not very good, and if you park in the front lot next to the street, there are sketchy characters walking by, and if you park in the side lot, it's backed up against an equally sketchy-looking Red Roof Inn. It was fine for just a single night stay while on the road, but I wouldn't stay longer and I probably wouldn't go back.

Being close to the interstate I expected it to be loud but it was very quiet. Plenty of parking .

The lady in the breakfast area was very rude. Also decided to drag the metal trashcan on its side down the whole hallways textured tiled floor. Only 1 elevator worked, while a whole football team was staying there.

Very tight parking, I have a large pickup truck and parking spaces were very short and narrow. Old, tear down dump motel next door with what appeared to be sketchy people around. Pool table in lobby, I was in town for billiard event near by, that they have allowed kids to destroy which was a heartbreaking sight, needs recovered and then monitored better that it does not happen again.

The room was in ok condition. There was mold in the shower. The night time front desk man was very kind and informative. I was disappointed that the pancake machine was not working. The holiday decor was fun.

This place was odd, clearly it was new and meant for more of the young hip crowd…it was minimalist to a point it was somewhat ridiculous! My biggest problem was that this place was LOUD! The floors were vinyl both in the room and hallway which made everything echo and reverberate. The floors were so sticky that when you walked it was difficult to carry a conversation due to the noise each step caused with the stickiness. Also our room had zero weatherstripping around the door and around 1/8” was visible all the way around the door looking in from the hallway, not only did this feel like a major privacy violation the noise from the hallway was all night long. We spent a miserable night there and notes to never stay at a Tru hotel ever again. Spend a tiny bit more for so so much more!

Bathroom sink was clogged and my TV didn’t work. The floors and baseboards could be cleaner. Only needed a place to sleep so I just dealt with it. I did tell the front desk when checking out and they said they will get maintenance to take care of it

The bad: It didn’t seem like the room was thoroughly cleaned. We immediately noticed sticky drips of something on the desktop. The bathroom sink was also very slow to drain. Additionally, there were barely enough towels for 2 people — I like to have an extra one to wrap my hair while it’s drying. They also started putting away the breakfast items about 10 minutes before the posted cutoff of 10AM. The good: Our room was by the elevator and it was surprisingly quiet! The bed was also very comfortable. The AC was efficient and not super loud. Overall, I would probably choose a Holiday Inn Express (where we usually stay) over this hotel chain.

Liked staff, parking and size of room. Disliked when compressor came on made a loud, grinding noise like truck brakes. Also no rugs on floor in bedroom or bathroom.

Very clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast, friendly front desk, price is right. Very noisy.. on major street with highway behind it. No micro or coffee pot in room. Ask for extra towels. Lots of restaurants around

Room was cold; heat not working properly; I reserved a room with a King bed - I was given a room with two full beds so I was uncomfortable (I am not a small person). Room is too small too minimalized (claustrophobic)

Room is too small, with the bed taking up most of the space. The hardwood floors transmit too much noise. All evening, I heard thumps and bumps form upstairs guests. Traffic noise was excessive, although the noise stopped by 11 pm for the most part. Would not stay at this property again, although I thought the price was fair for the unit.

Bad location, extremely poor room and impossible for 2 people to occupy the space without having to sit on the bed to allow anyone to pass, like being in a closet, I'd never recommend any Tru by Hilton, motel 6 is far more comfortable than Tru is, in name only it's Hilton, we'll never stay in any thing named Hilton The obsolete worst experience we've experienced in the 35 years we've been married

Room was to small No drawers to put clothing in had to leave them on bench

This was a great place to stay but the only thing that was disappointing was the beds. They were horrible, ended up switching rooms but both rooms the beds were not comfortable. Besides that it was convenient with plenty of options for food,shopping and attractions.

Rooms are so noisy you could hear absolutely everything from everywhere! The air conditioner was the loudest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. The beds were almost just as noisy when turning over.

Staff was helpful and kind. Hotel is in good shape as of 8/30/25. Rooms were clean, bathrooms clean. Beds are not great. Happy with my choice to stay here for the night.

Front desk staff was nowhere tp be seen for 15 mins upon checkin. Was extremely rude when theyvshowed up. Rooms are small and beds and pillows are uncomfortable to say the least.

The only complaint I have is when I checked in, using Expedia, the front clerk couldn’t find my reservation. He gave me a number to call them left to sit at table eating and on phone, Expedia tried calling to get problem fixed but he didn’t get up I tried giving him my phone to talk with the person from Expedia but he refused too and then called the person on phone a liar about calling. He was very rude!! The front desk at checkout was very friendly and helpful! Wish I had him at checkin. Other than this the hotel was very nice and clean!!

While the actual stay at this hotel was great, it would have been greater if Travelocity had issued a proper virtual card to allow my room reservation to proceed smoothly. The very helpful Tru employee had to plead with them over the phone for 45 minutes before we could get into our room, so don't use Travelocity!.

We found the inn decor and firnishings to be extremely spartan and overly eclectic. We were not comfortable there. Furthermore, when we checked in on Sunday evening, we were told by the young man that checked us in that breakfast was served until 09:30. We walked into the lobby at just a few minutes past 09:00 abd breakfast was already closed. We V spoke to the girl on duty at the desk and were informed that breakfast ended at 09:00 during the week. We ended up n going to McDonalds and spending just b a l ittle over $12.00 for our breakfast. This may not seem like much money, but it was enough to put us in a bind for our food budget yesterday and we were unable to eat a decent lunch. Last evening, when we arrived back at the inn after spending all day out we found tjat our keys to the facility did not work. We had to walk around to the front door and enter there. Agai. This may not seem like a long walk, but I am 100% disabled veteran with m p bility issues and poor lance due to nervous system idies directly attributable to my service to this nation anf it was difficult for me. T J e kid at the desk re-programmed our key cards and we thought that we were fine; until we got to the room. We V walked into the room to find that our room hadnt been touched anf there were no clean towels. My wife went back to the desk and l was told rather snippily that housekeeping was only every other day. We wouldnt have stayed here if we had known that. We wont be back to TRU.

We checked in about 2am and the young gentleman that checked me in was incredibly friendly and professional at that hour. He even told me that he would start fresh coffee at 4am if we needed it! I did not expect that kind of treatment at that hour. I hope he gets recognized for his extraordinary service. Also, the breakfast staff we very friendly and helpful. They told me good morning and asked how I’m doing! It must be a southern thing or something but I enjoyed it.

Had a very pleasant stay for business. My first room I went into the air conditioner did not work and they promptly got me into another one other room. Fantastic stay and tasty breakfast options.

Very convenient to a highway. Great staff, good breakfast. We have stayed here several times as we travel to Chatt quite often. Never been disappointed.

It’s a fine place to stay, little noisy because of its proximity to the interstate and the road in front of it. I’m gonna say your room selection would make a difference in the experience.

The property was located close to shopping centers and restaurants.

My husband and I love staying at a Tru By Hilton hotel. Consistently, they are clean, affordable and have very friendly staff. This particular hotel was in a lovely area with absolutely anything we wanted from restaurants to shopping nearby. We were traveling home from vacation and only stayed one night, but once again, we were very satisfied!!

The room was good The breakfast was absolutely horrible no big plates no big cereal bowls no coffee creamer we asked for these things and were given the cold shoulder acting like what we were asking for did not matter to her The eggs were terrible the sausage was horrible I've been there other times and the breakfast has been good this time I was shocked as such a horrible service of the breakfast

Very clean and nice property, nice staff, and the food on the continental breakfast was very good and was continually stocked.

Friendly staff, easy check-in/out. Breakfast being included and consisting of eggs and bacon (along with other assorted items) was a big plus. If I return to the area I'll check on a room here for sure.

This was fine for a quick overnight stay. The hotel itself was nice and clean. The room was fine but very small though for a longer trip. Breakfast was pretty sad though. They were out of most items and had a limited set up for what I’ve come to expect from the Hilton line-up.

Bed for comfortable and the room was clean. However, the free Continental breakfast was atrocious. Sausage were like styrofoam, and so were the eggs.
