Great location, wonderful hotel and very helpful staff!

The hotel was lovely but AC did not work and was not acknowledged or rectified during stay, on check out was told was due to warm spring weather. Completely unacceptable, was then offered free breakfast upgrade 'next booking' - incredible

Check-in felt a little chaotic as there seemed to be only one staff member behind the desk who had the "status" to do things on the check-in system, so they kept being called upon by the front-line check-in staff to attend to various issues with the check-in process. Room was comfortable at one level, but remained cool-to-cold throughout our two-night stay, despite trying to resolve this with the staff. The hotel itself feels very plush when beyond the reception area, with hush-hush carpeted corridors and a luxurious feel to it. We did not use any of the facilities, and instead opted to breakfast at a nearby coffee house for afficionados. Some great pubs and facilities nearby, but it is a good 12 minute walk from the nearest tube station.
