Tolle Unterkunft in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof. Die Zimmer waren leise trotz Nähe des Bahnhofes. Frühstück haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen, sah aber sehr gut aus. Super ist der kostenlose Kaffee am morgen. Auch die Dachterasse ist sehr schön. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Köln Urban Loft. The location of the hotel was excellent; it is right in the city center and very convenient for getting around. The room was spotlessly clean, and essential facilities such as air conditioning and hot water were working perfectly. There were only two minor points that I found inconvenient: the room did not have bathroom slippers, and there was no mini fridge. Apart from these, I had no complaints at all. All staff members were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. There are many markets nearby, such as Penny, and a little further down the street there is a Turkish market called Karadağ, which is a great convenience. Overall, I had a very positive experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, and if I visit Cologne again, I will certainly stay here.

Check in on the laptops was ridiculous! Letters are not like a keyboard and you can’t see what you are typing. The hallway carpets are filthy! The room was clean but no shelves to put things on.

Hôtel propre et esthétique, les chambres sont bien entretenues et agréable et je pense que on a était sur classer , L'emplacement est un vrai point fort: à seulement 8 minutes à pied de la cathédrale et avec d'excellents restaurants juste à côté, ce qui est très appréciable. L'équipe a essayer d'être la plus gentil avec nous et merci a eux En revanche, plusieurs points sont gênants : nous avons été facturés pour deux petits-déjeuners, alors que nous en avions pris un seul pour deux personnes. Autre point négatif: présence de moisissures dans le sèche-cheveux, ce qui pose un vrai problème d'hygiène. En résumé, un hôtel bien situé et agréable visuellement, mais avec des détails à améliorer notamment sur le service et l'hygiène.

Small but clean and modern room. Decent shower, air con and tv. Toiletries provided, cleaned once during a 3 night stay. Bed was ok, not amazing. Perfect location for travel to and from the Dom and central train station. Area is busy in the evenings - lots of street noise but you don’t hear a thing as long as the window is closed .

We were unfortunate enough to be on the train ( and Dom) side of the building. Even with the windows shut it was very noisy - we should have asked for a room change but didn't. Rooms dark - with stupid lighting - bed side light on one side of the bed, switch on one side of the bed. And with all the lights on it was dim. The bathroom was light being under flood lights. Duvet too small for the size of bed. Some of the staff were quite off hand - this may have been as we didn't fit the usual hip n groovy media type demographic - but we were still paying for the room. Location is a mixed bag - 400 m north by the Eigelstein Turm it is. lovely Bohemian area - but the hotel is definitely in the down at its heels nr a station area (my fault as I didn't double check). In the outside area there were a lot to street drinkers during the day. However it is very central and a walk to the Dom is about 10 minutes.

Room small but comfortable. Shower soaked the bathroom floor and could not be adjusted to prevent. Room far too warm and never below 24oC - reported to reception who stated the smart system was now set to warm mode but could not be controlled to reduce within the room. Area around the hotel felt a little unsafe- witnessed a multi police arrest within yards of the hotel entrance and lots of drunks and beggars around the hotel at night on the surrounding streets

We stayed in the urban view room and it comfortable and quiet (silent even, thanks to the insulation). Great tv position meant you could settle in to a netflix movie easily, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and had an excellent shower. The view from the window was STUNNING and included the railway and the cathedral, which we loved. The terrace had great views of the cathedral, and the reception area had comfortable tables and sofas to chill out on. The bar had good options (Kölsch, cocktails and softs) and the free coffee was an excellent perk. We didn’t order breakfast as we thought that €17 pp was too much. Overall, we loved our stay at Urban Loft and will definitely be returning next time we visit Köln.

Nice hotel! Very hot bedroom at night and unable to control the air conditioning. If you open the window it’s very noisy with the train station next door. Could do with hooks in the bedroom to hang up coats, towels etc.

Rooms are adequately sized but on the smaller side. Good for solo travelers but not much room for more people. The beds are very comfortable. No frills, just basic amenities. Less than a 10-minute walk from Dom Hbf. There is a Rewe nearby, and if you walk a little farther, there are a few great local cafes by Eigelstein-Torburg.

We have very enjoyed our stay at the Urban Loft. Close to train station. Staff really friendly and super helpful. We were able to do early check in and leave bags during last day. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The room wasn’t huge but fine for us. The room isn’t cleaned as standard during a two night stay and we were made aware of this on check in but told we could request clean towels if wanted. Would stay again.

Das Hotel selbst war sauber und modern. Trotz Lage erstaunlich ruhig. Allerdings sollte man nicht am Personal sparen und erfahrene Kräfte auch an der Rezeption einsetzen. Am Ankunftstag wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und empfangen. Trotz 2 Nächten, hatten wir uns lediglich für 1x Frühstück entschieden und vor Ort bei Ankunft nachgebucht. Abgerechnet wurden bei CheckOut leider 2x Frühstück für 2 Nächte. Nach langen hin und her mit einem - sagen wir mal - sehr forschen und weniger freundlichen Mitarbeiter, wird das Geld für die zu viel gebuchte Frühstückspauschale am Tag 2 jetzt zeitnah zurück gebucht. bleibt abzuwarten. Zurück zum Anreisetag. Während des CheckIns kamen 2 Gäste an den Counter, die kurz vor uns eingecheckt hatten, mit der Überraschung, dass ihr Zimmer bereits vergeben sei und dort schon jemand ist. Wie sollte es auch anders sein, hatten wir selbiges Thema. Die Dame am Empfang war auch eher - zurückhaltend mit ihrer Freundlichkeit und schob das "Problem" auf einen Systemfehler. Auf meine Frage: wie kann ich mir denn jetzt sicher sein, dass das nicht passiert, wenn ich weg bin? kriegte ich die Antwort: das passiert nicht und Sie haben einen Safe im Zimmer, den Sie nutzen können. Please? Was ist das für eine Antwort? Also alles in allem, werden wir hier nicht wieder buchen und es schon gar nicht weiter empfehlen.

There’s a digital self check-in desk, but at the end the screen asked me to contact lobby staff to complete check-in process. At that time the staff wasn’t too busy and the check-in was finished quickly. The card reading sensor in the lift required some ‘technique’ to read the room key card - I have witnessed many guests trying to get the lift going unsuccessfully. Room was located at the backside of the hotel and faced the very busy railway line. Unless you’re a train spotter or enthusiast you might feel disturbed - despite the double windows some noise enters your room and better wear ear plugs if you intend to open the window. Otherwise the room was small with practical layout, but surely very clean. No complains here! The road in the front has a few supermarkets and ‘Döner’ stalls and drinking holes in stock. Convenient- but the area is not inviting and has some weird characters and day-drunks in store. At checkout we witnessed complete chaos: there’re only two staff members to deal with an immense number of guests wishing to checkout. The checkout queue interferes with the guests wishing to have breakfast. While the lobby lounge looks inviting for an evening drink or meeting, in the morning this space erupts in chaos. All in all: staff is friendly but the hotel lacks staff to handle the amount of guests. Rooms are small but clean. Ask for a room away from railway line unless you’re a train enthusiast. Area appears a bit ‘dodgy’.

Lovely, modern hotel. Managed to get into the room early - check in was a breeze. Checked in online the day before so only needed to pay the city tax. The gentleman who dealt with us was superb and we got 2 cans given for free. Surrounding area wasn't the best but it felt safe. Very close to the train station, cathedral and shops. Didn't have the breakfast but it was very busy every morning. Free still/sparkling water available all day. Coffee machine available from 11:30pm-11:30am

O hotel é muito bom, instalação bem moderna e confortável, cama boa, chuveiro bom. Perto do centro onde tem a catedral e a estação de trem. Vários restaurantes próximos. O único inconveniente é que demorou pra achar a minha reserva pois o sistema do hotéis.com não avisou ao hotel. Mas os atendentes foram bastante solicitos em resolver nosso problema e até ofereceram bebidas gratuitas enquanto esperamos.

The hotel itself was lovely: modern, clean, with friendly, helpful staff. We had to request an accessible room at short notice and that was particularly good. Parking is limited though, and while its location is really convenient for the old town, it’s in a somewhat undesirable neighbourhood. But the price does reflect this.

The hotel itself was lovely and a busy option. The staff at check in were lovely and was nice to have a small courtyard at the back of the station. We were upgraded at check in which was super! The area felt unsafe / rough around the edges so something to consider if travelling alone. The road it was set on had a number of restaurants / bars.

Lovely room, clean and modern. Thought there would be train noise as view overlooked the station. Rooms are secondary double glazed so didn’t hear a thing. Only criticism would be the breakfast price at 16€. Easy breakfast options within walking distance, at more reasonable prices. Bars too.

Hotellet ligger meget tæt på jernbanen og stationen. Der kan forekomme støj, hvis du får et værelse ud til jernbanen. Morgenmaden er kedelig og under normalt niveau for et hotel, der markedsfører sig som 4 stjernet.

This hotel has such a chic vibe! It is on a brick paved street that feels like a college town. The rooms are small but fresh and tastefully decorated. The bath has a large subway type tiled shower and floor, very modern. Breakfast was an amazing display and variety of items. Staff was very acommodating. I recommend this cool hotel!
