A lovely property that has been recently renovated to provide a modern, but cosy base for exploring Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales. The fire and excellent heating system ensured the property was warm and welcoming even with very cold days. Only single drawback is the busy road on the doorstep, but we were aware of this before arriving and the noise was not as bad as some had commented.

The fire and excellent heating system ensured the property was warm and welcoming even with very cold days. Only single drawback is the busy road on the doorstep, but we were aware of this before arriving and the noise was not as bad as some had commented.

The property was as advertised. It probably suited parents with kids rather than 4 adults as the second bedroom was small. The bathroom was a little odd. Despite it size most of it was taken up with a fibreglass slipper bath and the shower was downstairs in the dining room. Kitchen was good but details all wrong, no bread knife and the other knives wouldn't cut butter. No coat rack on the ground floor, no welcome pack. However, the general layout was fine, very good value and despite the over engineering of the front door we had a good time. Skipton has much to offer and Dales Edge is very close to the city centre.
