Hotel Rhynern Nord is a convenient motorway stopover with simple rooms and generally clean spaces plus easy parking, though several guests report confusing reception signage, occasional smoke smells or cleanliness lapses, dated furnishings, and soft or uncomfortable mattresses.

⭐☆☆☆☆ This was by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had. The room was in an extremely poor state of cleanliness. There was a thick layer of dust throughout the room, especially in every corner, making it obvious that it had not been properly vacuumed for a long time. There was mould and heavy dirt on the ceiling above the bunk bed where our children were supposed to sleep, and what appeared to be feces smeared on the windowsill. The overall condition of the room was shocking. Our youngest daughter has asthma, and during the night she needed repeated doses of her emergency inhaler through her spacer because her breathing became significantly worse. Instead of getting a good night’s sleep, we spent the night caring for our daughter. The double bed was also completely worn out and collapsed towards the floor on both sides, making it very uncomfortable to sleep in. The hotel looked nothing like the photos shown online. Had the actual condition been accurately represented, we would never have booked this hotel. To make matters worse, the female receptionist who checked us in was arrogant and seemed irritated from the very beginning. She made us feel unwelcome instead of being greeted with basic courtesy. We have extensive photographic evidence of the room’s condition. This hotel urgently needs a thorough renovation, proper cleaning standards and better customer service. We cannot recommend it to anyone.

We stay in this hotel every year during our family trip. This is a basic hotel close to motorway but that’s make it perfect.

We stayed at Rhymes Nord for one night and it was exactly what we needed for a short stopover. Check-in was quick and straightforward, and the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was decent, and everything worked as expected.
