Wylder Windham

Beautiful mountain view, my daughter loves the sauna barrel! The only thing is they do not have a microwave inside of the room.

Stayed here for Memorial Day Weekend. It was a beautiful getaway. The fireworks were amazing and so was the sauna.

Overall, it's a nice and cozy place, great for a family vacation. However, I wouldn't recommend it for a ski trip. There’s no early breakfast and no dedicated ski equipment room. While they do provide a storage room, it lacks a shoe dryer. Additionally, you need to book the sauna in advance, and its availability seems limited, likely reserved for groups. So, if you're planning a 3–4-day ski trip, this might not be the best option.

This was a lovely place to stay on our recent weekend trip to Windham Mountain. The property is well-maintained, clean, safe and quiet. There is a nice bar, restaurant and bakery, as well as a game room downstairs which was great for our teenage boys. My friend, who does not ski, stayed at the hotel and took a yoga class and enjoyed the sauna. It’s very close to the mountain and there is even a shuttle bus that will take you there on request. We will definitely be coming back!

I loved all the activities and amenities—great quiet rooms.

My partner and I had a wonderful time here. We were only here for a night and wish we had longer, but will certainly be back next year! The on-site restaurant is excellent. The staff was professional and helpful. The pool was amazing and so were the bikes. It’s a really beautiful property and so peaceful. Book this hotel!

The property consists of multiple buildings and it's a crapshoot which you'll get. Our building had no amenities and was a far walk from the main building and restaurant. The TV was practically unusable and took over 30 minutes to pair with a phone to stream a movie. Also, the heat in our room was a lousy fan unit and no heat at all in the bathroom. Lastly, we could hear the guests in the room above and across the hall. The soundproofing was non-existent. The bed was comfortable though and the location was great.

This was an experience to remember! So grateful to the team at Wylder. Attention to detail. Knowledgeable of my needs. Game room 5 🌟. THEY HAVE PACMAN!!!!!!! The icing in the cake was the steam room shaped as a keg. Perfect for 2! (Thank me later) i cant remember the whole teams name.... however to each member of the wylder team; You guys rock! Forever Grateful. See you soon 🙏 My only word of advise: if you wamt to sleep in.... Request a high floor. The skii crowd hits the slops EARLY

Great location and pool!

The Wylder has a serious cleanliness issue. The floors were absolutely filthy - dirty, dust, grime, many tiny metal gears that originally seemed like earring backs, sharp slivers of plastic, dog food. We were traveling with our toddler and the final straw was when we stepped on a random pill on the floor. Truly unacceptable. Management came by right away and offered his back the nightly resort fee, but I feel like more should have been done. Rescheduled a special cleaning for the floors and were still finding and stepping on random things from past guests. It was truly gross. There were cobwebs in corners, several spiders everywhere, huge carpenter ants. The resort is also incredibly loud. We were located right by the stairs and could hear people running up and down until 3:00 a.m. We could also hear every footstep from the people upstairs. It's the Catskills, I get it. We know it's rustic, but for the price the hotel charges is truly outrageous. Upwards of $500 a night on fall weekends for dirty rooms and to be nickle-and-dimed for things that should've been included in the resort fee. There are no fridges or anywhere to get ice, and come Sunday there was nowhere to get food or even water. I will say the staff was great - everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful. The grounds are also beautiful! But don't be devices by the Instagram posts - this is a roadside motel.

The hotel is situated in a convenient area close to Main Street (3 min drive or 20 min walk) where you'll find restaurants and shopping. It's also located near a lot of great hiking. The Windham Path is right by the hotel and would highly recommend it for all ages and all fitness levels. It's a 1.5 mile scenic hike that we enjoyed during our visit. The restaurant selection at the property is limited with Babblers being the only restaurant and it gets very busy with a long wait time for food. The room was very clean and bed was comfy, but we were on the first level right by the river where the fire pits were which doesn't have much privacy and we didn't like that as we had to keep the curtains to the balcony closed at all times. Other than that, the staff was all very friendly, accommodating, and the property has a lot of activities and is situated in a beautiful area within a few minutes drive to the downtown area.

There was no coffee available in the morning, the water pressure in the shower was VERY weak. There was place for our cloths, the TV did not have TV access - only based on our own streaming subscriptions. That being said - beautiful property, tremendous staff working there!

All was nice, very nice staff esp the bartender Chris! We could not get the TV’s to work in either room with the required logins, and the water took a really long time to get warm for the showers. Otherwise, really all fine and bucolic.

As nice as everything and everyone was, I still thought it was overpriced. The rooms are small and there is no cable/satellite tv or a mini fridge. For $400 a night, there should be.
