Ease of parking right next to cabin, ease to walk dog, plenty of grass right outside cabin.

It was a great visit. Quiet, just what we needed.

We stayed in the yurt, which is not soundproof from your neighbors late night sessions if you get my point. The outdoor area was full of geese poo and was not enjoyable. I would advise not to feed the geese right there to avoid this issue as much as possible. The furniture around the yurt to sit in was also not clean enough to use either, it would have been nice to enjoy in the evenings. Although the yurt design is a great addition to checking off the travel list, I am not a big fan of a few things about it. It’s very bright. There is no way to shut off the outside if you’re sensitive to light during sleep. The outside security light shines in the door and does not turn off. Love the light for convenience but sleeping was a little difficult. We will come back but will book the cabin and not the yurt next time. Overall we love this place and the convenience of location.

We loved the cabin and the amenities. Kids loved the upstairs attic. Sitting on the deck listening to the creek with a hot chocolate on a cold day made it worth the trip. The stars were very bright on a cloudless night. Saw a lot more stars on the sky than what we see in miami. The heater was little loud and bathroom is small but is expected in a small cabin.

This is our 4th time staying on this property and we have no complains. It is quiet and a very relaxing place to stay.

Wow! What a Neat place and the surrounding area too. I Really enjoyed my Mongolian Hut. I will stay here again for sure. The host was great and communicated great! 👍 Koi Pond needs a Revival! ☝️

For the price, cabin should have been in better condition. When we arrived and opened the door there was a musty smell.

We really enjoy staying here. The location is great, easy to find, and away from high traffic area. Facilities are immaculate with up to date decor and comfortable beds. Communication is 5 star with easy reservations, confirmation, text message reminders, contactless check in and out.

Never met any staff. Cabin was okay. The outside under window in kitchen needs to be repaired. Odor in cabin. Sprayed with fabreeze. Very noisy. Next to us was a bunch of people cursing and loud music.

We had a great experience at Maggie Valley Cabins. They were easy to work with and communicated ahead of time property expectations. The cabin was super clean and stocked upon arrival. We loved it and will be returning!

The pictures and description make it seem like you are renting a "cabin", but you are not. This is a plot of land that houses about 8 or so "tiny houses" that are made to "look like" a cabin. The tiny houses are really close to each other. The blanket in the bedroom stunk bad, like damp and mold, as if somebody pulled it out of the dryer still wet and folded it up. The place was VERY hot when we arrived so we checked the AC's but there's notes all around about what to do or not do so they don't freeze up or something like that (and in this GA heat, you gotta expect people are gonna wanna use the AC full blast). Also, the soap dispenser in the bathroom only had about half an inch worth of soap in it. Overall just underwhelming.

Really nice little cabin for my overnight stay with my kids. I will say, if you’re 6ft+ tall, your head might be hitting the ceilings in the downstairs bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and entryway lol. My kids loved the loft area. It was really spacious and they loved having a queen sized bed to themselves.

Super cute place to stay for a weekend with a small family. It is really close to Cataloochee and there is plenty of shopping around. It was perfect for 3 of us to stay while we were skiing. The only thing I can say is the water heater is way too small. We all had to take cold showers.

This is a nice tiny house/cabin. It had a downstairs bedroom with a queen size bed. All was comfy. Living area had enough seating for 6 plus dining table with 6 chairs. The towels were even decent compared to hotel chains which are so thing. We had no issues so would recommend it as long as you’re not tall. We’re short, 5’3 and can touch shower area without stretching. It was great for us.

We stayed in a cabin for a ski trip. The kids enjoyed it a lot. It is clean, cozy and comfortable. I also like the communication with the owner, easy and very responsive. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Overall a great getaway! Very nice, and clean. Having a hand held shower head to use was great! Close to activities. The only issue was the couch was not very comfortable, other than that it was a great stay!

Owner offered an upgrade and we loved it. We even booked an additional night. The beds are wonderful! I haven’t slept that good in years. Owners very helpful when we needed check out little later because of our daughters check in time at school. Will definitely book again

Our one night stay was wonderful until we realized late at night we had no hot water and there was no one available to assist with the concern, therefore no hot showers before a long drive home. The cabin has worn floors but is cozy. The beds were comfortable and the couch and recliner made you feel at home. Great area close to everything but away enough to be tucked away for a quiet night. My own complaint is the rudeness of the responses by the staff replying to messages via Orbitz. The individual who texts back and forth is very cordial and was apologetic for our inconvenience.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay except there were not blinds up top in the living room which made it difficult to watch tv and it made the room hot. The only bathroom toilet stayed out of order for a whole day making us have to go to the store several times to use the bathroom and there was only one maintenance person for several locations apparently so they could not give us an approximate time and that was the problem with communication. I could not change clothes in the bedroom because one bling did not shut all of the way down and there were missing blinds up in the loft so my child and I had to get dressed in the bathroom. We wish there had been a second railing on the steps up to the doorway seeing that my husband is handicap and some type of shears on the porch over the picnic table would have been nice. The size of the cabin and cleanliness were perfect and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for a night. It was a nice place near to several restaurants in Maggie Valley. It was clean and the staff was super friendly and responsive to communication.

We have stayed at this location for several years in a row now and love it every year. We’ve now tried the cabins and the yurt and they’re both great. The staff communicate really well and we will definitely continue to come here in the summer. And it’s in a great location to. Off the loud main road but right by the center of Maggie valley and just a quick drive to Cherokee or the parkway

The Inn-Keeper was so attentive and quick to answer my call & multiple texts. I really appreciated that. The Cabin was quaint, neat, clean and inviting. It was on a private road, so no road traffic noise. We enjoyed the sound of the babbling Brook, the crickets chirping and the frog’s melody. A wonderful mountain get away place ! Close to The Smokey Mountains Nat’l Park entrance.

MVCR reached out to us on check-in day asking if we would like to be "upgraded" from our family cabin which sleeps 6 to a Yurt, which sleeps 2. After the extremely poor customer service received. I'm almost certain this "upgrade" was for their own benefit and they had a family who wanted the cabin. We agreed, thinking it would be a unique experience. Day 1 in the Yurt was good, a little noisy because it's basically a modernized tent. Day 2 a storm came through and the power went out. The craziest part about this is the outage appeared to only impacted this street. My husband, who is a disabled Army Vet and I returned to a cold, dark Yurt after going out for dinner. We tried unsuccessfully to reach anyone after hours and therefore had to pack our things in dark and drive to another hotel in the rain. It was literally one street over, with power. The next day I reached out in hopes of at least a partial refund since we had to spend money at another hotel, only to be met with an condescending, unempathetic email stating that they were unwillingly to issue any type of refund because they can't control the weather. They also communicated that they don't care about customer reviews. This fact is evident by their responses to other unhappy customers. MVCR does not have to worry about me EVER staying in one of their units or recommending them to anyone. Upside per normal Expedia attempted to make it right as best they could and thats why I've been a customer for 20 years.

Although the cabin was well kept, I did not appreciate the thermostat being locked at 70 degrees with a sign saying if you changed it, it would shut down the system. I paid pretty good money for the cabin, and that should come with setting the temperature to what is comfortable for me, not to save them money. . Plus, the TV was set in French including the instructions on the TV. We called the manager to help, but she did not return out call.

It was a great stay. Our first morning, we woke up to a male Elk calling out. Not shortly after, we had visitors. It was great. Will be back!

Our rental was a yurt! Loved it! Quiet setting, Mountain View, excellent amenities, would definitely stay here again!
