I didn't realize this place has a "virtual" lobby. No actual front desk. Never saw a staff member, although they were available by phone when we needed the entrance code and a hair dryer. Both times we went out to the hot tub there were a group of kids in it. The lighting of the properties rock driveway is terrible at night. Our room wasn't cleaned for our entire stay. The restaurant and bar weren't open the entire stay either.

The outside hot tub was definitely the highlight of our stay. We stayed with our 2 boys. They loved the pool too.

Check in has no staff. Since I booked with Hotels.com as a third party. Check in was not smooth. Had to make a phone call and get scolded for using the third party. Room was nice but had to carry the bags 100 yards from parking lot and down and back up 20 plus stairs. Skip the studio if you are old like me. We just wanted a place for the night. We did not take advantage of the views or amenities. Seems like more of a destination place and not people needing a place for a night.

I enjoyed my cabin-like room and its beautiful setting. The king sized bed was comfortable as can be. The ac worked great. I plan to stay here again.

We enjoyed our girls weekend at Skylaranna, we would have enjoyed the bar or restaurant being open after our drive up but unfortunately it was not yet open for the season. I see so much potential for this beautiful property and can't wait to see how it evolves! The staff was lovely and welcoming and the spa was superior in all ways. We will definitely return.
