The Bad: Ice machine was broken on our floor. The Good: Staff was legit friendly and professional, the pillows were the BEST I've ever had to use at a hotel, beds were very comfortable, the shower was amazing: Good size and water heat. TWO shower heads, one on a hose, and the other in rainfall config...superlative! SUPER clean.

We were looking for something inexpensive due to an ac outage. Well, there’s a reason it’s so much cheaper than everyone else. From the luggage carts to the beds, everything was very flimsy. The bed was on metal rails and hard as a rock. The luggage cart was barely holding itself together and one minor bump was going to be its demise. AM/PM staff seemed to be more enamored with their phones or visiting coworkers than working, except for the bartender who was friendly and helpful. The bar area also serviced the in house snack store, which was odd but… okay. Not a super big deal except for when paying for snacks, it prompts you for a tip. The bigger problem was that nothing in the refrigeration section was actually cold. The ice machine on our floor was broken, so you had to go to another floor. Breakfast is listed as an “option,” but it’s restaurant style, which is odd for a hotel this size. The final nail in the coffin… After taking off our shoes for bed, we realized that the ac was leaking and the carpet at the end of the bed was soaked. It impressed with this hotel in the IHG family and thankful it was a local stay for just 1 night.

By far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at: it felt so new, clean, and comfortable. Besides the amenities being perfect, there was also a fitness area in our room!! Yoga block and ball, and the weight bands in the room were so convenient! Such a brilliant idea. The beds were comfy, pillows were fluffy, and the bathrooms were very nice and well stocked. Will definitely seek out this hotel to stay at on other trips.

Loved the stay here! Very clean! Great area to be in quiet, beautiful, nice hotel staff! Gym is HUGE! Loved it ! Only downside is the AC units in the room I usually keep the unit at 68-70 but it would never drop to the set temperature. Would wake up hot in the middle of the night. Other than that hotel is GREAT!!

The room itself was clean as far as the bar surfaces. The hotel lobby and hallways were dirty. It did not look like same day dirt. Oh, and I had bedbugs. The man at the front desk has the nerve to insist I mixed bed bugs up with water bugs..🙄

I have stayed at the EVEN hotel close to 100 nights this year while building a business in the area. About a month or two ago the hotel has steadily gone downhill. Small things like removing the hand soap from the bathrooms, then on several occasions where the shower products were fallen off of their mountings in the shower and just placed on the floor, products empty or not working. Twice I was put into a room that smelled like sewage gas, and on another few occasions I was put into rooms that had missing chairs, broken walls or other defects. I really wish this wasn't the case because I really like this place. The beds are comfortable, it's in an area where you're close to a lot of restaurants etc. The rooms are quiet and the staff is always friendly. But as their prices steadily increase I cannot justify the sharp decline especially when 20 dollars more dollars buys the same room type at the Hyatt in Conroe that is a completely different and far more luxurious stay.

When we arriver around 6pm to check, I couldn't find any staff at the front desk for a good 8 min. I finally went walking around and found a housekeep and she called some to come the front desk. The was not dirty, but it had a lot of wear and tear. The bathroom has a sewer smell to it. It did rain a lot during our stay so that could have been the cause.

Housekeeping obviously needs training. Found hair in bathroom and on desk, dirty towel in drawer, and a number of items on floor that indicated a vacuum was not used (e.g., button, plastic o-ring, threads).

The front desk lady was absolutely wonderful and did her job well! Helpful, kind, attentive etc. Unfortunately, when I got into my room, it was a bit more run down than the pictures. I was excited about the workout equipment and yoga mat especially to try out, but it had chew and bite marks likely from a dog. It was rolled up in floor container with dirt in the corners. I decided against using it. I went to watch tv and laid on the bed and the pillow next to me had a tiny bed bug crawling on it. I just couldn’t stay in that place or switch rooms. I was able to get a refund and they were very kind and helpful about it. I really hope the place takes it seriously and gets the room fumigated and the rooms around it on the 2nd floor. I really wanted to like this place (loved it uniqueness) but I’ll stick to bigger name hotels next time.

Hair on bath towels(Given some more). Room smells like mold. Gross substance on curtain our daughter noticed. Dirt on walls inside hotel. Floors need attention, like sweeping/mopping. Possibly need to clean the vents, check for water leakage, the smell is awful. It does look like staff gives the hotel attention needed, just needs to be addressed daily.

I really enjoyed this property, I liked that it isn’t directly off of the freeway. The only thing I did not like was the walls are paper thin and you can hear every conversation in the hallways and in the rooms by you. Due to this I did have a hard time sleeping.

Did not eat breakfast as it's not included but it is an option and they did smell good whenever I was trying to leave. I was in a huge hurry the hotel was extremely affordable and was very clean and new and nice. Now make sure that if you need a refrigerator and or microwave that you are checking with rooms or choosing because they all do not have a refrigerator in them. I believe you need the deluxe rooms to make sure they have a refrigerator in them I might be incorrect though

I liked the room. It’s hard to find something I didn’t like, if I had to say something the shower door was slightly off track. Overall very impressive property. I had never heard of the EVEN hotel brand before but I’d recommend it to visiting guests now after the stay.

This will be the last time we stay at this hotel. Its been our go-to everytime we visit the area (which is quite often). Everytime we go, its been worse than the time before. This time, check-in took over 20 minutes. There were 2 women, and 2 computers, yet only 1 woman was checking people in while the other one (wearing a hood) just stood there and told us to be patient. It was very uncomfortable and frankly, patronizing. The line was too long for only 1 of them to be doing her job. Her attitude was horrible and we felt punished for using this hotel. It only got worse from there. The room was filthy, the staff woke us up yelling at somebody for an hour in the room next to us; the list goes on. We paid too much to have to deal with everytbing that happened.

The hotel is very nice. The room & fixtures are first-rate. The bed was comfortable. I liked having some exercise accessories in the room. However, there were only 2 bath towels in the bathroom - No hand towels or washcloths. I was told there was one hand towel available, but no washcloths. They were in the dryer. We finally got them, after 2 more requests, later in the evening. I've never before had to beg for linens at a hotel. It was astonishing! We paid in advance for the breakfast. When we went to the cafe area, we were asked for a voucher, which was never given to us. The desk manager checked our reservation and confirmed that we had paid. There was no choice in the breakfast. It was bacon, eggs, toast .and a cup of fruit and coffee or tea. The next morning, no fruit.

Room was comfortable. Looking forward to a good cup of coffee the next morning, coffee had lots of grounds in it, and no sugar available. Really!!?? Asked for extra pillows and blanket when I booked, but wasn't in my room when arrived.

I stayed overnight at the Even Hotel and I saw everything here at the highest level. cleanliness 5 stars, courtesy of employees 5 stars, shower room has white and clean towels. breakfast was not included in my room reservation, but I went down to have breakfast with my own money and I ended up paying $23. the food was delicious and it was worth the money. Have a nice trip everyone

Everything was amazing. I do reccommend to have more than 1 person working at the dinning area. He did everything on his own, bartending, cooking, taking orders, and serving. He was excellent at it and it seemed unfair that it was only him. That is doing 3 jobs at once, really cruel to him.
