I booked this hotel for it's indoor pool since my kids enjoy swimming while away. They were devastated to see the pool blockade in place with a note saying, "Closed for maintenance." We checked with hotel staff to see if it was just temporary for cleaning and such, but turns out it has been closed and will be closed for some time due to roof leaks. I have encountered this at other hotels and am always informed when booking but not this hotel. No mention whatsoever. We were told by staff to tell them at checkout. I wish that was the only issue. We walked into our room and discovered the tiled floor in the entryway was so sticky our shoes were making loud audible suction noises. At first I thought it was something spilled but it was also in the bathroom. I took a hot washcloth to see what it was and discovered it was soap. Whoever washed the floors used so much soap that it left a thick residue making the floor sticky. It took me almost 30 minutes of washing it with hot water and a washcloth over and over to remove the soap. If any of us got out of the shower and hit that floor with wet feet, it would have been dangerous. The cherry on the top of this stay was finding a long blue hair in the sheets. None of my family members have long blue hair. I informed the checkout staff of all of this when leaving and she was of no help. She couldn't care less.

Plenty of parking. Room was clean and there was plenty of room. We had a 2 queen room with two teens. 2 chairs, desk, microwave (perfect for leftovers), mini fridge. Room was cleaned daily, (reservation said no housekeeping service) Breakfast was perfect. Pancake maker was a hit!!!! So easy. Staff continually cleaning tables and replacing food. Friendly, considerate, and accomodating. Clean, updated! A great value. Will definitely return. Went to battleship cove and Newport! Many options on DoorDash, a plus for teens. Deliver directly to your room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are a stickler for cleanliness I would not recommend this hotel. The wall going into the elevator looked like something had dripped on it and was never cleaned. The only reason I say that is because it looks like it had been there a while .Sometimes stuff like that happens but when we saw the bathroom in our room it is clear they do not pay attention to detail. Under our vanity in the bathroom was disgusting to say the least I don’t know something was spilled underneath there or it was just accumulation of dirty mop water that they just didn’t clean along with the baseboards looking like they have never been cleaned. The bathtub had a very large chip that should be fixed. The beds were very comfortable and the linens all looked very clean. They had a very good breakfast and everything in that area was clean but we just can’t get the cleanliness of our bathroom go without saying something.

Extremely dirty room, bathroom. Hallways and room were full of garbage. There was a crazy amount of hair on bathroom floor, towels, beds. I had to buy bleach and cleaning products. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

My shower wouldn’t drain properly causing the water to overspill to the bathroom floor. This causes the bathroom to be slippery & unusable. The room was too expensive to have this be a problem. Wish I could have been compensated for this.

Overall it was very good, Staff was great, good location for us. Clean. The only nays we have are the walls are super thin and not sound proofed, also the breakfast potatoes were not edible.

Sweet hotel, large and comfortable rooms with comfy beds and fluffy pillows. All amenities we needed and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was fresh and tasted great…bacon, eggs, potato wedges, cereals, pancakes, freshly oatmeal with ALMONDS, cranberries and brown sugar. 3 juices, hard boiled eggs, a variety of yogurts, bottled milk, 2 types of breads and muffins and some of the best coffee ever. Overall, a great experience.

The location was good, property clean, and staff was good. My only issue was the walls were a little thin.I was on the 4th floor and could hear the person in the room next to me snoring all night and voices coming from the other side. A couple times it was like there was someone in the room with me. It's funny, because I don't recall hearing people in the hallways.

This is a good hotel. What you would expect from Holiday Inn. Expedia failed to confirm our reservation, and we didn't really get any help from them. Luckily, there was a very nice young lady who assisted us, and we were able to get the Expedia price based on other criteria we met. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Wifi good.

Came in from a late/delayed flight, got to the hotel past 2am. When I went to check-in, the staff informed me they couldn't check me in because their computers were down. I waited in the lobby for about 30 mins while the two staff members were off in another room trying to reset the computers. Not a good experience, especially that late at night, but they insisted there was nothing they could do for me until the computers were back up. After 30 mins, they got me into a room on the third floor, then let me know the elevator was broken. Entering the room, it smelled like cats/cat-pee. The room, especially the bathroom, was quite worn down and not all that clean. When I showered the next morning, the shower drain was so clogged I could only take a 5 min shower before the water was going to pour out onto the floor. The breakfast had plenty of options, which brings this from 1 star to 2.

Very well kept property. Guest services were just amazing. Both the guy who checked us in and the lady that checked us out. Our room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was an actual hot breakfast! With its other usual side stuff. Sausage links, scrambled eggs hash browns. Then the normal continental breakfast stuff. In all this hotel will definitely have me coming back! Literally have nothing bad to say!

Had a great time. Breakfast each morning was hot and fresh. Plenty to choose from. Room was clean and tidy. Front desk helpful and always smiling. Even when my flight kept getting delayed and i would check in w them the front desk told me not to worry they had me covered and a room was waiting for me. Awesome service

The hotel was wonderful. Great location for our trip. The breakfast was delicious. I appreciated that coffee was available 24/7, in the lobby. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows not so much ( for my preference). Would stay here again .

Pros: Front desk staff friendly and professional; bed very comfortable Cons: No fan in the bathroom so some ick was growing in the shower; included breakfast was worst I’ve had, breakfast staff was in the back talking when food needed to be replenished and trash was full; another guest told me he was terrified of the elevator

Very nice hotel, off of highway. Looks fairly new. We only stayed a couple days but the room was clean. They had a coffee station and a refrigerator. A large cabinet to hang clothes. A nice bathroom, walk in shower with Dove products. The desk clerks were friendly. They had an open lobby area with drinks and snacks to buy. The breakfast was very good. One of the best breakfast areas we have had as most hotels do not refill items or care about its look. They kept refilling food which was appreciated. The seating area is good size. We would stay again.
