Out of 4 nights I stayed 1 the pool was GREEN which was upsetting because my autistic child can not go to the beach we wasted an entire day waiting around for it to be cleaned the front desk kept telling us they were testing it and it should be clear soon we ended up checking out and going somewhere else

The suite was on 4th Fl. , it was spacious, with a small stove top. mid size fridge and freezer, fully stocked kitchen for cooking and place to keep snacks and beverages. The pool area is great along with very nice fitness center. All good. The only downside to me is the hot breakfast items, i.e. eggs, sausage, bacon, potato's could be kept warmer. The simple solution would be to have a small microwave available for customers to use instead of asking staff to heat something up. Which they did, no problems at all. We also enjoyed Wednesday happy hour offering.

My family of 6 and I stayed here last minute this past week ...I'll simply list the pros and cons of my experience. Pros: Loved that they had last minute availability to accommodate my large family and securing the room was very easy Property is updated in comparison to alot of other hotels/resorts in the area Conveniently located near shopping mall No resort or parking fees Breakfast was included Entertainment package included Cons: Staff was not very friendly or accommodating Not rude just not really helpful either. Breakfast had limited options TV in room went out and was not offered a partial refund or anything at all for the inconvenience Pool area is nice but nothing extravagant and is pretty small Would definitely stay again. Property itself was very clean and updated, room contained everything we needed. Would have given 5 stars but staff definitely dropped the ball.

We were visiting Myrtle Beach with 2 young kids ages 4 and 7. We took a long time reaading reviews of many hotels and we settled for this Homewood Suites by Hilton. Don't be fooled by all the great reviews, this hotel is average or slightly better than average but its definitely not a 10. Positives: -very clean, -we had a little reading room next to our room that had a microwave, full size fridge and a dishwasher which was handy with kids. Walking distance to shopping mall and highway access. -beds were great, pillows were terrible! -staff were nice Negatives: -pool was murkey -no water bottles in the room -no water pressure in the bathroom sink and toilet -way overpriced for what it was -4 ppl staying but only 3 towels provided -breakfast was just okay but did the job for 2 kiddos, basic continental (cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, toast, apples and bananas and waffles)

We stayed here when we moved our son into college. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful. They offer free bottled water that you can just take from the concession fridge. That was such a great perk. The Coastal Grand Mall is 5 min walk and is a pretty decent mall with a movie theatre. The pool is small and old/rundown. But we weren’t there on vacation so it didn’t bother us. 6 minutes to airport. The coffee was actually pretty good. The breakfast offered Belgium waffles that my son loved. The rest of the food was typical continental free breakfast. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to stay near the airport for a short in and out trip.

I’m extremely picky about hotels. My stay here exceeded my expectations to the max! Clean! Clean! Clean! Smell of lobby, elevators, room floors was immaculate! Smelled like citrus from check in to checkout! I give this hotel a 10000/10 ! Breakfast included every morning was delicious hot and fresh! Friendly staff. Easy and flawless check in.this is THE only hotel I will stay at when I visit Myrtle Beach from now on! Good job to the Manager of this hotel! You sir deserve a raise. See you guys again next month. Book your room to be clean and change your bed a day before you need it. Nonsense. They are using COVID excuse. I stay 6days my room was not clean for the 6 My bed was lay once, and i have to call them in a bad way. I will not stay in the hotel again. Lot of hotel in the area. Did i tell you i pay $254 per night.

Loved my stay here the hotel is hygienic, well maintained and welcoming. It’s location is convenient with various walkable entertainment facilities around. The staff are a little standoffish, no one came to clean during our almost 5day stay . Otherwise it’s amazing 💯

This was one of the cleanness Hotels I have ever stayed in! As soon as you hit the door, the great fragrance hits your nose! Every room was clean! I will stay here over and over again. The front desk workers were so helpful...ALL of them! This was a GREAT experience for me and my family! We come go to Myrtle Beach year, but this was the first time we stayed at the Homewood Suites, but it will certainly be a place where I will stay each year! Thank You Homewood Suites!

Cleanness, service, convenience were great. But! The bed are terrible 😣. Very firm and hard as a rock, made my sleep very uncomfortable and unrested for my stay on vacation. Highly suggest buying soft top mattresses with manufacturer the company uses are switching vendors. Should not be a one size fits all with no back issues. Next, Breakfast needs to be real food ie eggs, bacon, sausage links, and hash browns should taste like real food instead of frozen microwave food just heated to serve on a buffet. At the rate the rooms go for a decent real breakfast should not be too much to ask. Other that, overall good.

I reserved a handicap accessible room and did not receive one. I’m a double amputee and when I checked in it pretty obvious. But still was not given a handicap accessible room. Then was overcharged for my room by $50 . I will never recommend or stay with this place again. Considering I travel to the area several times a year for family.

Would gave been a good stay if i dudnt get sworn at and called inappropriate names at 4pm by another guest because my kids were bring * loud* . We were at the ice machine for less then 2 minutes and they were not being loud and a guy comes out if his room trying to discipline MY kids. Calls me all kinds of names, swears at me in front of my kids. How the hotel handled this was even more disappointing. Customer service by one of the guys was horrible.

Lady at check in desk was not the friendliest when we arrived. We didn't realized we booked our room at the one right on the beach. She just said, its 3.5 miles down the road. When i called the one i booked with. She was very nice and helpful. She offered to cancel our reservation at no charge and luckily i was able to book a room at the one we were at since we were traveling with a 30 ft trailer that can't just be parked anywhere. The room was amazing and the rest of the staff were great.

Toilet seat cover was completely broken when we checked in.we brought it up to front desk and managnents notice immediately and three more times during our five night stay. Nothing was done till we checked out.

Very nice hotel...comfortable room, nice common area, great location (very close to airport, major roadways, and a few miles to the beach), and friendly staff. Breakfast was ok...coffee was very good, which was great, but would have appreciated skim milk for coffee and cereal.

Beautiful property. Rooms were clean and spacious. Loved having a kitchenette in our room. Full sized shampoo/conditioner and shower gel was highly convenient. Breakfast was okay, there were days where they had run out of silverware or took too long to restock food items. Besides that we had a great time, the location was perfect. Right next to the shopping mall and short drive to the beach and other entertainment options. Will stay again if in the area.

This was such a surprise, this was so clean. It smelled so fresh from the time we walked in throughout our stay. The staff was so welcoming and sweet and professional. The only thing I would say is our coffee table had a huge watermark and scratch on it. But the staff quickly added to ensure that we felt comfortable. The only reason I said 4 out of 5 is because the breakfast was not the best . I was hoping for scrambled eggs but we ended up going out to breakfast the next day
