This hotel is getting run down. For $200/night most of restaurants are not open. Breakfast is NOT included. The indoor pool was very dirty. There are no amenities included in this price. The pool area was nice and we did enjoy laying by it! There were so many conventions or something going on in the lobby the whole time we were there so it was a little overbearing . We would not rebook this as it’s a little pricy to just pay for the room. Town and any other food options are 25-30 minutes away.

Did not like that the hot tub is not maintained. That is a very important amenity in April when days and nights are beautiful but the pool is still much too cold. It was told to us that the hot tub had been malfunctioning for 6 months. It became a running joke after that, that almost anything we wanted to do had bad news attached to it. There's a nice electric bike trail that the resort advertises that they provide bikes for starting in March... Nope, no bikes. Management seems to be phoning it in. If you still decide to stay there as a hotel guest, go for a balcony room on the lake side but call ahead to confirm you actually got what you paid for because we didn't. There were staff there that were sympathetic to our bad luck but not everyone. The front desk person was snarky simply because we asked if the hot tub was going to open. Anyone that could have at least tried something to make it right or elevated the failures to Management, couldn't have cared less. We didn't press the issue and decided to make the best of it. This review would be a longer book if I covered every resort mishap. We liked the area but it's not at all necessary to stay at the hotel to have a waterfront stay with an outdoor hot tub. We'd opt for VBRO if there ever is a next time. I don't think there will be but never say never.

The property is modern and has a vast array of activities available, including lake access, golf, swimming pool, tennis and pickleball, basketball, wiffle baseball field, corn hole, video game room, etc. There are many ways to play here. Also, a coffee house and a nice sports bar with an outdoor firepit. Hotel rooms are very nice.

This was our second visit to Shangri-La Resort (the first being over five years ago). Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time at the resorts pool and at The Anchor. I will say, the expense of the food and beverages was less than desirable. I would recommend guests to bring as much snacks and food as they can manage.

Over the property was beautiful! People were friendly and service at the restaurant was top notch. However, our room was gross. There were several flies we couldn’t get rid off, spots on the white comforter and large streaks on the bathroom closet doors like a child had got creative with finger paints. Gross!

Our room, the lobby, the restaurant, everything was immaculate & the staff was friendly & welcoming. The mattress was quite firm—a cushioned mattress topper would have made a better night’s sleep. No complaints, but a comment about a goofy component of our stay—the closet only had 1 hanger. I’m certain that had we asked for more we would have received them. My very favorite thing was that there were multiple hooks in the bathroom for our towels, and we rarely get that in newer hotels.

Our room was dirty. Took over an hour to get us switched because no cleaning staff was available. Neither phone worked in the rooms. Was given no information where anything was except the closed bar/ dining area. Was told to drive 20 minutes to Grove, Oklahoma where everything was also closed except for a few fast food chains. Also no trash bags or coffee creamers in either room.

This property is super quiet this time of the year, the rooms could be upgraded. The toilets need soft close lids and the showers are full of rust around the facets. The rooms are very small, but again super quiet this time of the year.

The property is exceptionally beautiful with great dining, pool and outdoor courts (tennis, pickle ball, basketball, and mini baseball) there is an amazing golf course too. We did have some issues with our room balcony door that didn’t lock and was extremely difficult to open. Maintenance came up twice but never resolved the issue. The rod to our curtain was off and leaning against the wall and the door key scanner kept falling off. They did discount the room at checkout due to the issues. I do wish at checkin that there was a resort map and explanation of the activities available (bike rental and use of the courts) I would definitely recommend staying at this resort, the area and lake are beautiful!

The bathroom door was totally inoperable and would not open or close without excessive force. We arrived late and were not aware until it was too late to report. We did advise the desk personnel on check out and she was very appreciative and said she would report it.

The property is beautiful. The area on the lake is peaceful. The architectural design is quite attractive. The problem is that is breaks down in the hotel. Our 4 rooms were pointed toward the lake on the second floor. We all stared at air conditioning units and a wall. Why would they not have located these units on the ground or roof? (At least not where a beautiful view would be hidden. The people at the hotel were friendly and polite but Doc’s, the restaurant had many open tables and booths. We were still told we had to put our names on a list and they would text us. We sat for nearly an hour (with a 4 year old). We went up to ask what the problem was and the “hostess” said sorry. I sent a text. I showed her my phone - no text. All she had to do was look …. This property has potential but did not live up to expectations or frankly to what we paid.

It was odd... This place is really fancy, and the views, everything was really pretty. However, there were maybe 10 people staying at this place the night that we were there. I think they put all of us in adjacent rooms. That shouldn't be a problem, really, except for the fact that walls are super thin. We could hear both neighbors loud and clear, and they were honestly just being conversational. It was incredibly strange. I would likely stay here again, but I may ask to be separated from other people next time.

Came for the kids, did not have a working TV for the first night. Had to call the maintenance two times, was not fixed. Day two was moved to a different room that was full of marijuana smoke, the girl at the front desk seamed shocked that I had a problem with drugs being in my room. Was finally moved to a drug free room. Was told we would be discounted for one night, never happened. Food was limited, I will share my experience with Shangri-La.

The property was great for a small get-a-way. I would like to try and go back in the summer when the outdoor pool and other restaurants are open. The pizza at The Alley is good though. All staff was very nice and went above and beyond to us navigate our first time there.

Very nice property, enjoyed our stay. Only problem we had is that we weren’t given the room we booked, staff said that it was because I booked through a third party, I still feel like you should get what you paid for no matter who you book through.

Not a large selection of much of anything close by but that’s because the whole resort is sort of at the end of a peninsula. Had to drive 25 miles into town to get a phone cord, but I expected that. The facility is fabulous and the golf course is amazing!!! Just bring everything you need and you’ll be awe inspired.

Beautiful property right next to the Anchor and marina. Short drive to golf. The room had space for our golf clubs, so that was a big plus. The only issue was the lack of food with all the restaurants closed. The room had a mini fridge, but no microwave so we had to drive a bit to meals. Otherwise it was perfect!

The property was beautiful. When we opened our curtains the next morning you could see the pool and the lake in the background. So beautiful!! My only thing I would change is adding a place for people to charge their phones that forgot their box and only had their cord. That’s the only thing otherwise it’s perfect
