The hotel has an awesome location; views of the White Mountains are breathtaking. Very peaceful and quiet area. Gondola ride to the top of Mount Rosebrook was a lot of fun. Spa was very relaxing. Great bar in the Cave! The only issue we had was that the indoor pool was closed for maintenance.

This is a destination hotel. they have indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. they have cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and down hill skiing at the mountain across the street. staff are very friendly and accomodating.

The property is beautiful. It was chilly so use of the amenities outdoors was limited. The indoor pool and hot tub floor are old and discolored making them unattractive to the eye.they could use to be resurfaced. The shops have limited hours as well as restaurants. And we would have liked to see entertainment in the cave or elsewhere in the venue every night. It was a bit boring in the evening. It was nice around the fire but limited seating for such a large hotel. Our room could have been dusted better and the bed skirt even around the bed. Other than those few things the staff is wonderful, views lovely, ground and hotel are beautiful. Food is very good.

Sad there is no longer valet service due to staffing issues. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Carriage ride was great, the Cave entertainment and bartenders were excellent. Outdoor pool didn't have any towels, or anywhere dry to keep your robe while you swam, but it WAS snowing and the pool was warm . indoor hottub was great, although they drained it on a busy Saturday night for some reason so we didn't get to use it more than once. Shuttled to Fabyan's for dinner as on site resturant choices did not suit us. Overall, great stay.

Omni at mt Washington is beautiful - my one drawback is PARKING! For the price you pay per night parking should be included. Free parking is about a 1/4 mile away or more and is in an unlit area.

Majestic Grand Hotel! I visited in January to ski Bretton Woods. Restaurants in the hotel were very good. Daily transportation to and from ski resort. I was very surprised that at the end of my stay the hotel wanted to charge me for a 'convenience fee' for use of the courtesy van. When I questioned the front desk, they immediately removed the charge without any discussion. They do not have microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms but if you ask ahead of your stay, they will accommodate. A summer visit would be lovely. The spa looked great but I didn't use it.

2nd visit to this Omni and 2nd time getting a stomach bug/Norovirus one day after using the pool spa, which seemed filthy and under-tended to. Needs to change at this otherwise top notch and amazing resort with everything else near perfect

This is an amazing place in all ways, the staff were super helpful. I had my 7 year old grandson for 1 night & they treated him really well. We used both indoor & outdoor pools & I used the fitness center also, well maintained and very clean.

The Mount Washington Resort was on my bucket list and it lived up to all my expectations. It is a huge place and I was impressed with the level of maintenance. Everything was immaculate. Hard to do in such an historic place.

Property was beautiful! Absolutely stunning! I would go back just for the peacefulness. With that being said, the rooms are outdated. TV was very old, small and positioned in a very weird spot. Granted we were not there for the TV so not a huge deal! But it was Hard to see if you were on the right side of the bed. Floors are very very creaky and uneven. The cleanliness was also not the greatest. There was hair in our bathroom and on the bedsheets. The windows had mildew, you can see they have not been opened or cleaned in a while. Soap was missing from our bathroom. We had to call the front desk to bring some up (which wasn’t a huge deal) but it took 4 phone calls and over 2 min of the phone ringing each time for someone to answer. The AC is a mini split, it’s positioned about 8ft on the wall and pointed directly on the bed. If you are a person who doesn’t like cold Air blowing on you while you sleep, it’s going to drive you nuts! It def did for me. Needless to say, it was a great property. Absolutely stunning but can definitely use some upgrading and maybe a little more attention to cleanliness.

I rarely leave reviews but my wife and I want to warn other people considering staying here. The facilities are beautiful but the hotel itself is not worth the price. Stay somewhere else and come spend the day here instead. This hotel needs helps. It\'s beautiful from the outside but as soon as you step foot inside you quickly realize the unfortunately shape it\'s in. Our room had a thick layer of dust on the headboard, black dust on the ventilation where the heater/air conditioner blows, one of the water glasses had lipstick on it, the bathroom was not cleaned (water stains on the hardware), the baseboards had a thick layer of dust on them. The room itself had pipes running across the ceiling giving it a 1950s hospital aesthetic. The lamp in our room was not only leaning because it was broken but it also had a massive water stain on it. The walls were all chipped from the furniture. Our tv was about the size of a computer screen. The rooms don\'t have coffee or tea. When asked they brought us up a 1990s drip coffee machine but without any mugs or coffee or tea. They only provide coffee/tea in the lobby between 7 and 10am which is okay but the additional $40 USD per night "resort fees" makes this feel absurd. During our stay we both heard other guests complaining to the front desk about similar issues and met other guest who said they\'d never come back here. We highly recommend driving in and spending the day here and staying at a neighbouring hotel.

This property was immaculate. We were pleasantly surprised by the condition of this historic building, the rooms, the pool, the grounds. Even through there was work being done to maintain the property - the maintenance folks did an amazing job keeping the area clean. The food was amazing. Our kiddos were pretty burnt out on the same chicken fingers, pasta, hamburger, pizza, and such - they ordered off the adult menu for more variety. Not sure if our kiddo's pallets are more defined, but they loved the shrimp cocktail (sans the cocktail sauce - buy loved the tarter sauce). Our son loved the clams and dipping the bread in the sauce. They also loved the capresse salad, and calamari. The only item we didn't care for was the blacken sword fish at the Stickley Restaurant. We were expecting the fish to be prepared with blacken spices and pan seared - this item was honestly burned in the pan and served very dry with blanched romaine lettuce. I was not edible. Not sure what the miss was here - but it was the only hiccup in an otherwise perfect experience. The spa was lovely and Lacey does an amazing mani/Pedi! Her specialty is facials, so if she's as amazing at facials as with nails - would love to arrange for that service next time. Relaxing on the patio with a glass of wine nibbling off the cheese and meat board was heavenly - looking out over the mountains and the beautiful cascading clouds. We'll definitely be back. What amazing experience and location to see.

For $700/night the place is way too expensive for what you get. The prices at the small stores around the place are such a ripoff even the staff was surprised when they rang things up. The place is nowhere clean enough, and the food was sub par. It could have been way better if they didn't milk you on everything.

First visit to the Mt. Washington Hotel for our wedding anniversary. Beautiful grounds, great support staff. Restaurants were good. Room was good with a nice view. WiFi was slow at times. Issue with loss of heat overnight was resolved quickly by maintenance staff. Had a great time despite the poor weather.

Well, it was very nice and well worth it. But surprisingly, sled-parking was not included in the room price, the room ac wasn't adjustable (there was an overhead fan), the bathroom was small, there were no robes in the room, no refrigerator or mini bar in the room, and no coffee maker in the room (or free coffee in the lobby). For that price, I guess we're used to the above. Also, very family oriented (= lots of children 😁)

Of course this is one of the most unique properties in the country. It is beautiful. This was my 3rd visit. Upon arrival I was told that we were upgraded to the Presidential Wing. The rooms there are very nice and larger than the ones in the main building but almost nowhere to plug in phones. Also if you have trouble walking, do not stay in that wing. It is a very very very long walk to the main part of the building. Had to get a wheelchair for my husband so he could make it, which they happily provided, but all could have been avoided if we had not been "upgraded".

The grounds/views are beautiful but it’s an old place and that’s really obvious with the guest rooms. Our room was loud…lots of hallway noise, a floor creaking from above. Hallway lighting shines brightly through the old doors. Rooms could use more sound proofing and upgrades. Pool is also a far from everything.

The overall property is beautiful, but my room was extremely small and the carpet and decor were very old and worn. When was the last time they changed the carpet at this hotel? I paid over $300/night for the room which is incredibly overpriced.

Housekeeping is terrible. Don’t leave enough towels for the number of guests checked in. Next day, I left a message and still no response. No shampoo in bathroom. Called guest services and they didn’t deliver any either. Building is beautiful but dated and needs serious remodeling. Their signature restaurant (1902) is mediocre at best. Half the wines listed in menu are not available. Most of them are very cheap ones and one would expect better options in an upscale restaurant with a dress code. In fact, their casual restaurant has better food and wine menu. Concierge is a lazy guy who has no clue. Easier to find info on google then get anything meaningful out of him. This place needs a lot of rehab.

Beautiful location. Exceptional scenery. Front desk staff was courteous, but rule-following and at points. Getting a late check out when the hotel was less than full on a mid-day week (Wednesday) in April after snow was ridiculous. I was made to feel like I was putting everyone out. it was obvious that entire wings and floors were empty. I was told my room was rented for the next day. Then, I was given an extended stay, but only after signing up for the “club,” whatever that is. Then, exactly at 12.30, housekeeping knocked on the door to clean the room. Really? This was an opportunity to make a customer for life and for me to tell everyone I know how amazing this resort it. Instead, I loved the scenery but the hotel view of hospitality is below average. Don’t take this out on the front-desk staff. They are way too young for that. Management and leadership need to own this failure to see an opportunity to inspire and create loyalty. And, I left items behind, but no one could find them. Really? They weren’t precious, merely a vest and rain shell.

Our stay at Omni Mt Washington was fantastic from start to finish! Our room was beautiful, the facilites were great and never ending things to do, or places to relax! The staff clearly love their job and care about the guest experience. The history of the location make it what it is. Highly recommend doing the tour of the property, Ed went above and beyond with his explanations, keeping it interesting and entertaining. Every interaction was pleasant, starting w the lovely women at the guard shack! Can't wait to go back.

horrible. there was work going on in the lobby load saws and hammering. Had I known this was going to be happening, I would have changed my day there. the from staff were not at all concerned about my distress. It was my first time there,I am a Omni elite member. very disappointing. So the 2 hours we had planned to sit in the lobby by the fireplace was a very miserable time. We were not offered any compensation for this inconvenience and disappointment. Word of mouth marketing is a powerful tool. Negative communication about the resort will not be helpful to future customers that ask me how was my time there. Feel free to have management reach out to me . Just so you know we have worked hard and were much awaiting this retirement trip.

The property itself is beautiful. They made a huge error, not putting our two rooms near each other so our family had about a five minute walk in between rooms. I had called the morning of our check-in to confirm that our rooms would be near each other, but they were in separate buildings. This was very disappointing. The lobby is beautiful and we enjoyed that space very much. This weight staff in the restaurant was excellent, but the food was mediocre best. We had difficulty getting a reservation for dinner after in advertently booking the wrong night. And we had to wait a long time for a shuttle pick up.

Amazing views from everywhere! Staff was very attentive. Hotel is impressive. They knew it was our anniversary and sent up sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries...nice touch! Bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Food was very good. Hiking; dining; chilling by the outdoor fires; relaxing on the veranda....priceless. If I had to give any feedback it would be that we requested a room fridge twice and it never arrived; felt a bit unwanted first night at one restaurant (low staff) but made up for it everywhere else! Really should have coffee/tea and waters available all day for self serve. Only available for afternoon tea. Late night snacks would be welcome too. Overall though awesome trip!

This is a destination hotel. they have indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. they have cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and down hill skiing at the mountain across the street. staff are very friendly and accomodating.

Location is not ideal, about 45 minutes away from any shopping, additional dining. Beautiful hotel, but older and in need of some maintenance and upgrades. Bathroom marble counter had brown stains. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Security helped with jumper cables when truck would start. Food was good but very expensive. The Cave was so fun. Overall nice getaway.

The hotel was built in 1902 so maintaining is constant. Beautiful property With views of Mount Washington. Trails for hiking to beautiful waterfalls. As with current state of hospitality, a bit understaffed but hard working and pleasant staff. It is remote so great place to relax. Food was excellent in all restaurants and even the spa. Spa was nice and has a quiet outdoor sitting/sunning area complete with hot tub. Beautiful golf course, horse back riding, fishing, zip line, carriage rides right on property. We will be back!

Hotel is beautiful. The room was big and very clean. Main dining room was a little disappointing. The food was average so it was very overpriced. I expected the food presentation to be special and it was not. We ordered sides for the table and they came out cold on the inside. Service was spot on they did an amazing job. I would give the food in the main dinning room 7.4 out of 10.seemed like it was all pre maid food and just heated up. The historic Mt Washington Resort was a treat to stay in. Service was incredible, the buildings condition was expected for its age, however dining left a LOT to be desired. The 5 star prices for each dish did not match up to the problematic meals we received. At four of our meals there were listed ingredients missing from each plate, or the temperature was off, or the wait was egregiously long. In every case the staff were more than conciliatory and attempted to rectify each mistake. This aside, the stay was still incredibly serene and calming, as the Spa was wonderful and the atmosphere of all public spaces were settled and cozy. We would love to come again, and hopefully the kitchen sorts itself out.

We loved Omni Mt Washington: excellent service all around, a rich set of activities, convenient access to Bretton Woods for skiing, and great food at all the hotel restaurants we tried. The buildings and rooms could use some renovation soon, but regardless, we had a fantastic time during our weekend family trip. Will come again.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Clean and comfortable. Staff was very polite and friendly. The only issue I had was the food. It was very expensive and just very disappointing. They could do so much better. I will definitely be back, but I will travel off site and eat elsewhere.

Be aware no matter what the room rate is you will be charged another $65 a day plus tax. $20 to park your car yourself in the middle of the wilderness! Plus $45 for wifi and other amenities. A total rip-off that leaves a bad taste in the mouth after paying over $300 a night for room plus additional spend on in hotel meals. Very poor.
