The property is 3 locations in consecutive blocks with expansion underway. We had an issue with our room but were contacted before arrival to explain an alternative by Anna. When we arrived mid afternoon the property was not accessible but a complementary buggy was sent down to collect us. We arrived at a large gated doorway. The doors opened and an oriented theme reception area was hidden behind the gates. Amazing. Our first night we were in an alternative room but moved to an amazing room for the rest of our stay. The pools are better in palazzo presto than the other sister properties. Nina and the staff were incredibly accommodating And we loved the experience

A wonderful stay in Gallipoli I had a really lovely stay at this hotel in Gallipoli and would definitely stay here again. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made the whole experience feel very relaxed and enjoyable. Our room was in a separate annex building from the main hotel, but this really wasn’t an issue as it was within easy walking distance of the main building and everything else we needed. The room itself was quite large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The mattress and pillows were particularly good, which made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The main hotel building is absolutely stunning, with lots of charm and character, and there is also a lovely little pool which is a great place to relax. Although our room was in the separate building, we still felt very much connected to the hotel and its facilities. The location was also ideal for exploring Gallipoli, with everything within easy walking distance. The staff were consistently warm, friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, comfortable room, excellent staff and great location made this a very enjoyable experience. I would happily return and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Gallipoli.

Unfortunately, our stay was a little disappointing. Palazzo Columbo is an annex, away from all the hotel’s facilities, which was not made clear on either Expedia or the hotel’s own website. I’m also not convinced we received the room category we booked. The room had a broken toilet seat, and given the annex has only four rooms, basic amenities like a kettle and coffee maker should be provided. Breakfast was very underwhelming with tiny portions and poor quality a limit of three items, and even fresh juice costing an extra €5. It simply wasn’t good value. Service was inconsistent throughout. At check-in, I was incorrectly told I had booked room only, despite having paid for breakfast. At checkout, my request for help with luggage down a spiral staircase was reluctantly made because staff were busy, making reasonable requests feel like an inconvenience. The main buildings are beautiful, but the overall experience didn’t live up to the property’s appearance.
