OYO Hotel Tyler Lindale

I came in late after my brother broke his spine in Streetman, Texas and the manager allowed me to check in at 2am without any problems and was extremely helpful and very polite and accommodating towards my situation. Luckily my brother just needed a back brace for 4 weeks. Upon checking out, the new individual was just as concerned and helpful and kind. They explained how to get back to the hospital for me upon checkout AND they called me to let me know I forgot my cold pack in the freezer for my back (that pack cost me a lot of money). I felt safe there, the room was clean, the AC was perfect for me and I was able to park right outside my door. I highly recommend this especially if you find yourself in an unfamiliar town and situation like I did.

This hotel does not serve breakfast as advertised by hotels.com. The rooms are not up-to-date as advertised by hotels.com and neither is the facility. It was built in the 70s and it looks like it even smells like it.

The pool was not open it had sludge knee deep in the deep end, all of the ice machines and the vending machines were all boarded up the main office was full of trash and hotter than hayties

Bed infested with bed bugs, bath tub didn't drain properly. It would fill up with water as you showered. Every sheet, blanket, pillow case, and towel was covered in stains. Mini fridge set on rooten wood. Shower fixtures leaked water. Bath tub had hair from the previous tenant.

The photos online were nothing like what we stayed at. This hotel has not been updated in 30 years or more. Rooms had bugs, smoke stains and mold on the shower curtain and walls.
