Very nice, clean, safe property. Rooms are nice, people are nice. Price was extremely high. Paid over $500 night over UNH graduation weekend plus 29 dollars a night for parking. Not worth that kind of money, but no complaints about the property. Highly recommend the property if your stay is not during prime time.

Great location. Though we couldn’t park adjacent to the hotel because the street was cut off for a parade. Would have liked to know that ahead of time. Besides that, 2 thumbs up

The Inn Downtown was very charming, well-appointed, clean, and extremely convenient to everything that downtown Portsmouth has to offer. The arrangements for check-in and check-out were straightforward, and the communications from the owner/manager were excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

Amazing place! Abby the property manager was so patient to answer my questions and she helped us to extend our stay when we asked her. The place is so modern, comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for easy walking to restaurants and shops. Instructions on stay were clear and I asked for an extra blanket and it was provided. Just a really great place to enjoy Portsmouth, NH.

Property was really clean and quaint. What we really liked is that the building was converted into a modern-day inn using an apartment building format. All restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance and the town of Portsmouth is a place we will definitely visit again.

Room was so charming and clean. Everything looked so neat first walking into the room. When originally booking the room, I was no aware of the history of it and made my partner fall in love with the place more. It’s in perfect location to all the stores and restaurants Portsmouth has to offer. Would stay here again, and recommend to others.

The Inn Downtown was in a good area for walking, shopping and eating downtown. We were charged a $50 fee to check-in early even though our room was ready and the cost could have been easily waved. The pillows were so stuffed we couldn’t sleep on them without hurting our necks. Also, there was no wine opener for the wine we opened that they provided, and we couldn’t figure out how to turn the coffee maker on. The building is cool and the history is awesome.

We were very pleasantly surprised about the Inn. Everything was intentional and all the finishes, from the bedding, fridge and furniture, were all high quality and comfortable. We even got a pack n' play and half expected a Chico or similar brand, but they even brought a high-end brand name for that. We'd recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back!

The accommodation is located in a charming historic building in a great vibrant village-like town. The interior space has a mid mod vibe, and is spacious, and easy to use. Had a nice dinner, as recommended, a nice walk to the waterfront and a nice ice cream. Pretty perfect!

We love the location and ambiance of our room. Our stay was short but sweet! We ate at the Black Trumpet, Great food and service. Downtown Portsmouth has great restaurants and shopping as well. A must stop when you’re in the area.

Also, there was no wine opener for the wine we opened that they provided, and we couldn’t figure out how to turn the coffee maker on. The building is cool and the history is awesome.

Great spot in downtown Portsmouth. Easy self check-in, lovely room with snacks and drinks available for purchase, and very comfortable. Easy to get to without dealing with too much Portsmouth traffic, and it’s walkable to all the things you’d want to do downtown. We will absolutely stay here again!

Loved this little hotel! The location is great, its funky cute and the roof top Bar is great fun. We spent the 4th of July there.Although the main Boston fireworks could only be partially seen- there were fireworks popping off all overBoston and the North Shore so there wasalog to see. Also, parking was convenient.

No elevators in the place so you need to carry all of your stuff up a ton of stairs. There was a huge bug in our room and the AC’s didn’t work well. The guy had to come out and help but he got it going. Need more towels than 3 for a family. Loved the washer and dryer and location, and parking available. Pull out bed needs a new mattress as it had stains! The couch needs a good steam clean. Otherwise it was cute and cozy!
