The views from the rooftop restaurant and patio were breathtaking of the harbor. Service was impeccable and reflected more 5star hotel experience. I can say enough on how impressed we were with the room and good quality. We travel around the world a lot and this hotel is on our must stay list. For new visitors to Athens, the Big Bus stops across the street so can shuttle you in to the old town and also the cruise port if you arrive that way.

Amazing friendly staff, breathtaking views of the sea (if you have a sea view room). Roof restaurant bar have wonderful service, special mention to Maria, she is a superstar, thank you! Good parking facilities, and I noticed the electric bus passes right in front of the hotel. Decent restaurants within walking distance. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The location is as shown with fabulous view of ocean and Athens, can see Acropolis. Short walking distance to many waterfront cafes with great food. Staff extremely accommodating. No pool; however, roof top restaurant more than compensates. Exceeded expectations!

Super boutique style hotel with great views. Hotel had great public areas and room was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, menu choice and food was fantastic. Hotel was very convenient for port area only a 10 min taxi ride. Staff at hotel superb, couldn’t do enough to help. Thank you for a great stay.

Hotel is good, rooms a bit small and some details could make it better (mold around sink, hooks in bathroom broken, shower door didn´t close 100%, unable to open minibar door totally, closet has no door). They offered a drink upon arrival in plastic cups.... Staff friendly and helpful.

I had the most awful stay - the room was filthy- I had sickness - realised this was due to the three months out of date milk in my suite - was assured that the management would get back to me regarding refund - I have heard nothings. The hotel and staff were excellent and it was an ideal place to stay for a night before joining a cruise. The cruise terminal is only 10-15 away by taxi. A 7 minute walk downhill gets you to the harbour where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. We stayed in a deluxe double room with a sea view. It wasnt a large room but had everything we needed. With the sea view it meant we were also overlooking a busy road which was a bit noisy until late at night - did not spoil our nights sleep.

This hotel is a gem! Perfectly located for travelers taking cruises. The service is exceptional. The staff really goes above and beyond. I communicated with them after making my booking and they arranged transportation for me from the airport that was waiting upon my arrival in Athens. When I arrived, it was very early on the day and they worked to accommodate an early check-in for me as I was exhausted. You must go to floor 4 for the rooftop restaurant!

We always enjoy our stays at The Alex Monte Kastella, having visited many times this year and in past years. The view of Kastella is absolutely beautiful and makes every visit special. The staff are amazing, always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel is stylish, clean, and comfortable, and it truly feels like a home away from home. Prior to our stay, the staff reached out to us to see when we were arriving and if we needed any accommodations. I stepped out of the taxi and the staff came out and addressed us by our names. The staff were amazing! Rooftop deck and restaurant was lovely and easy- with affordable prices. We were able to walk to the local cafes and shops and it was close to the ports. Great experience!!!!

Extremely friendly and accommodating which was important after a long day of travel. They checked us in a lot earlier than we expected and didn’t charge us for getting in considerably earlier than the normal check in time. Room was spacious and clean and the rooftop patio was a highlight!

I was very impressed and glad I chose a place closer to cruise terminal. The best was there was a hop on hop off stop 100 feet away, so I could easily get to the Acropolis and other sites.

The Alex was beautiful, we had an amazing view from our room. It was an easy taxi ride from the airport and to the cruise terminal, the hotel was great when it came to arranging taxi transfers. There’s a good amount of restaurants nearby too.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful views of the coastline. Immaculate, modern and efficient with polite and accomodating staff. The location is convenient to the harbor of Pireaus and not far from Athens. It is also very walkable to great taverns by the sea and small ports such as Microlimano and Pasalimani. Highly recommend.

The Alex was a very nice hotel down by the water. There was a coffee machine in the lobby that was open 24 hours and a rooftop restaurant that serve free breakfast if you had upgraded your room. The staff was polite and friendly and went out of their way to help you out. Anybody who wants to stay and see water and boats. On the other hand, the hotel is located at the bottom of a hill and everywhere you wanna go you can walk. It is very walkable. The walks are mostly uphill. If Going with people who aren’t willing to walk 7 to 8 miles every day to go see this sites and take taxis every day. This might not be the place for you.

Room was clean and comfortable but a little smaller than expected. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I have 2 main complaints, one of which the hotel can’t really control. Our room was facing the street/ water and it was so loud. You could hear everything until all hours of the night and we didn’t get any sleep. My second complaint is that the rooftop dining was closed for a private event. This was very disappointing since it was one of the reasons I booked a room there. We were not informed of this until we arrived.
