Lovely service staff and fab location. Breakfast is very good and made to order so it is fresh and delicious. Spa services were phenomenal and can highly recommend the Thai massage for a firm sport style massage. I do want to point out that for anyone who is noise sensitive, the sound insulation is very poor (at least on the 1st floor). You could hear any movement of guests in the hallway through the door as well as street noise. This was difficult in terms of a comfortable sleep. That being said, I would stay again.

Wonderful boutique style hotel. Seems just getting going but everything was very nice, clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Right on the edge of a very bustling area with restaurants, shops and lots of activity. Restaurant in hotel has great food and drinks!

From the moment we walked in the door the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The welcome drink was very nice. The reception, restaurant and bar gave off a very trendy vibe and we loved having a drink in the evening before we headed out for food (though we did eat in the hotel restaurant on the first night and everything was delicious and good value) The air con in the room was very much appreciated as a respite from the 35+ degrees heat outside. We loved the layout and facilities in the room. The hotel is just a 10 min walk to a plethora of bars and restaurants in Psyri where we ate/drank most nights. It is an equal length walk in the other direction to the main hub of Syntagma Square as well as the Acropolis. All in all a fantastic little find and one we will definitely be recommending to friends.

The staff was extremely helpful, and the restaurant was excellent. The room was very good, but the shower floor was very slippery, so slippery that we had to put towels on the floor to prevent a fall.

Room was nice and spacious! The hallways were a little unclean and by unclean I mean like scuff marks on the walls and a little dark in terms of lighting but once you enter into your room it was perfectly fine. Staff was nice, they provided us with taxi transfer to get to the ferries as well which was easy for us. We only stayed one night which was good enough for us! Definitely walking distance to the flea markets and tourist areas, and lots of restaurants and food options around. About a 15-20 minute walk to the acropolis!

We arrived early and were very grateful to be given an early check in. The room was fine. It is basic, but was clean and comfortable. The shower and shower products were amazing. The breakfast was good. Overall nothing outstanding, but good for one night. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Lots of places to eat nearby.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless – everything felt perfectly clean and well maintained. The staff were always helpful, friendly, and especially accommodating with our baby, which made the trip even more enjoyable and stress-free. The hotel itself is amazing. Comfortable room. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The only disadvantage was the next door club with loud music almost each night. If a club music beat is your white noise, you'll be alright. Otherwise you have a problem.

I would certainly not consider this a 4-star hotel as it could benefit from some updating and modernization. The hallway walls and carpeting appeared worn and I didn't like the lack of separation between the toilet/shower and the room. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is also in a great location —just a short walk to the Acropolis with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Sauber, gute Lage. Aber leider hatte unser Zimmer nur ein winziges Fenster zum überdachten Innenhof, wo auch die Fluchttreppe ist. Dadurch keine Möglichkeit zu Lüften, außerdem mussten wir den Vorhang immer geschlossen halten, da ansonsten jeder auf dem Stockwerk aus dem Treppenhaus ins Zimmer schauen kann

Bathroom and shower literally in the room next to your bed and separated only by a glass doors. No privacy what so ever. When you take a shower water is going straight to the room next to your bed. Big window looking into..... closed space with a fire stairs. But they have a coffee Nespresso machine in the room and breakfast has choices that cooked for you.

We loved our stay as it was within walking distance to most sights. We had a room on 6th floor with a veranda which was perfect for a drink before bed. Breakfast first class. Bed very comfortable, bathroom and shower first class with beautiful Greek toiletries. I actually went across the road to the local pharmacy and bought some to take home. Good air con which was def appreciated. Would recommend.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We got a room with a balcony. Our balcony faced east and we got wonderful morning sun to warm us up before heading out for the day. Acropolis was visible from our balcony but only if you looked in the right direction. Would highly recommend the balcony rooms to anyone considering it. The breakfast was convenient and food was good. All of the staff spoke English. Location was just far enough from the tourist areas to be quiet but close enough to walk around the city and to nearby restaurants.

Great location (that is honestly the only positive thing about this hotel). When u stay in a « boutique » hotel for 4 nights and u pay ur room over 200Eur you’d expect to have at least a window in ur room. I’ve never been in my life in a room where u don’t have any natural light in the room as the window faces indoor staircases not the outside. So u must always have the lights on and curtains closed whether it’s 9am, 4pm or 3 am. Doesn’t matter. If you decide to open the curtains, every single person can see you when leaving their room. We have complained and the staff simply proposed to us the exact same room but just a bit further from ours… lights in the toilet didn’t work/ you could hear people leaving at 4 am to catch their flights/ the cleaning ladies every morning at 8 am shouting with the doors open/ breakfast: even included, u must pay for ur second coffee if u want one… honestly chocking for a 4* hotel. We had breakfast once there and preferred to go outside and enjoy Greek food. I do not recommend at all this hotel !! The only positive point is the location which allowed us to enjoy nice restaurants and bars in the area

They were absolute superstars! I had a meeting before check-in time and asked if I could do it in the lobby and they made it even better and checked me in a lot earlier so I could do the meeting from my room. They were also all extremely polite (reception, waiters, cleaning crew...), the room was clean and the breakfast was amazing. Thank you very much!! :)

Reception, the cooking personnel, the waitresses and the cleaning staff are all absolutely wonderful, and absolutely warm, they do terrific jobs each and every day. Asides from really liking the hospitality and the cleanliness of this place, I loved the a la carte breakfast menu, definitely worth paying extra for. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant.

Excellent séjour dans ce boutique hotel qui a l'air tout neuf ou fraichement rénové. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables et le personnel accueillant. Les chambres sont bien insonorisées et on n'entends ni l'extérieur, ni le couloir, ni les voisins de chambre. Literie d'excellente qualité. Enfin, idéalement situé à Athènes, proche de tout.

Great hotel. Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are clean. Staff is terrific. Acropolis and Plaka are about a 15 minute walk. Nearest metro station is like a 5 minute walk. Only “problem”. The hotel is on the edge of the tourist area. Do not go past the hotel at night.

Hotel ist neu mit moderner Einrichtung. Rezeption ist etwas speziell (Ein Tisch mitten im Eingang). Ansonsten sauber & sehr freundliches Personal. Lage ist auch ziemlich zentral, viele Bars & Restaurants im der Umgebung. Einziger Nachteil: in der gleichen Strasse gibt es wohl auch einen Club oder so, den in der ersten Nacht (Freitag) war es sehr laut in unserem Zimmer. Man fühlte beinahe den Beat im Bett. In der zweiten Nacht (Samstag) war es etwas leiser und wir haben an der Rezeption Ohrstöpsel bekommen, dadurch konnte man gut schlafen.

La colazione è fantastica, davvero ricca con possibilità di variare tra le diverse proposte. Gentile e cordiale tutto il personale, sia alla reception che in sala. Ottima posizione dell'albergo, vicino alle principali attrazioni ma su una strada silenziosa. Camere pulite e confortevoli. Unica nota: la standard room guarda su un cortile interno, ha una finestra a vasistas e obbliga a tenere tende tirate per non essere visti dal corridoio. Per una notte va benissimo, per soggiorni più lunghi consiglio altre stanze. La cosa non è evidente dai siti di Expedia, meglio segnalata invece su Booking.

Had a great stay at the Gem Society Hotel. We arrived early and they were able to check in. Also breakfast was included and the food was excellent. We also ate dinner at the hotel and the food was very good. Would stay there again.
