Kendall Mountain Lodge

The place was great! Location was perfect, loved that there was a shower/ bathroom, even though separate from room. It was clean. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

The lodge is more like a hostel in that the bathroom and shower is down the hall from your room. However you have your own private bathroom and shower which are keyed to your room. Be careful not to leave your key in the bathroom or shower since those doors lock without using a key. Overall very clean and comfortable. There are no staff at the desk. It is managed by staff at another motel

Reasonably priced options are limited in Silverton for some reason; even after Labor Day. Kendall Lodge rooms are tiny, but clean. I'm glad we were only staying one night (on a motorcycle trip). There are no amenities there; it's more dorm room style. So no lobby, dining, bar, on site staff, etc. I've paid the same amount elsewhere and had all that.

Staff was friendly and the room although very small was clean. Rooms 6 and 7 have private showers and bathrooms down the hall. We did upgrade to a room with a bathroom in the room. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet but the property was in need of a landscaper. Doors into the hotel were not locked day or night.

The room was too expensive for what it was. It was a tiny room with one outlet and no room for our stuff. Shared bathroom down the hall. It was clean.

First I want to start with, good luck contacting the property manager. You don’t pick your keys up on location. The keys are taped to the glass door at the gas station. This method is not secure and anyone can grab them. If the keys were taken, good luck contacting the manager. You won’t find parking in front of the building due to people sleeping/ hanging out in their vehicles that arnt staying. You will most likely need to park across the street. Not a big deal besides your parking in front of what looks like a residence and another business. I took my chances due to having a bunch of gear with me. You get into the rooms and they are absolutely tiny, not worth the money charged for them. No breakfast, coffee is very limited, and barely any room to move around when you have luggage or gear with you. The maintenance repairs done are shoddy at best, looks like a kid did them. Plenty of pictures were taken so nothing could be blamed on us. No A/C, and the heat was cranked up to 73 in the middle of summer. Check out was a pain because there’s no check out instructions. We tried calling for instructions. We couldn’t get anyone to answer or call back. We asked others who we’re staying on location and they said they had thought a drop off box was where you picked the keys up. That tells me they weren't given instructions either. We ended up taping the keys back to the gas station door. We live in a mountain town in CO before anyone thinks we don’t understand how they wo

Room was clean, but extremely small. The bed filled up most of the room. For the cost ($170 per night), it wasn’t worth it. Checking into the hotel from a different hotel was also odd (The Triangle hotel) but they are pretty close so not a huge deal. Overall the stay was fine, no issues with the room.

We stayed 2 nights in Rm 7, 9’x11’ room twin beds no bathroom no shower. You must take the only key and use down the hallway with the key. You do get use to having to go shower and restroom in 2 different rooms. It’s like a hostel not a lodge. We had a refrigerator and microwave coffee pot tv all stacked in corner so that was nice. I’m not sure what the other rooms are like but rm #6 seemed just like ours too. They need to oil the doors in 6 because they wake you up from a dead sleep at 4am!! We will stay there again because for the price it’s good for the area and all we did was the Alpine Loop so in and out. Just know what those rooms are like and you’ll like it overall as we did!!

Clean Functional rooms. No frills. There was a fridge & micro in the room (7). No place to set anything in room nor in the bathroom. Lobby is a block away & staff was kind & efficient.

We've stayed here before and knew we'd enjoy our night here. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. We had our own bathroom (room 1) but rooms some do not. These rooms have their own private bathroom just outside their door, right next to them. Our room had a noise machine which was a nice touch even though the area is quiet with very little late night traffic. Note: not all rooms have a window.

Decent and clean facility for price, especially for area

The cleaner they use is way too strong smelling. My eyes burned the whole time from it. Our bathroom was across the hall, which is weird and not the most convenient. But the room had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

This is such a great little area hidden away by mountains in every direction. It’s an absolutely gorgeous view! Now, there isn’t any AC in the rooms but it’s definitely not needed, and that’s coming from someone who can’t sleep when it’s hot. There are decent sized windows in the rooms, they also added a fan. If there were AC I wouldn’t have used it, personally. I’d also like to add how clean this place is!! The entrance is neat and tidy and smells nice. The bedroom was also very clean! There wasn’t any dust, the beds are comfortable with nice clean bedding and pillows, there’s a mini fridge, microwave and tv as well. The individual toilet and shower rooms were spotless also and came with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and the best towels I’ve ever used at any location I’ve stayed. And lastly, I have to give a big thank you to Dawn for being so accommodating, seeing as I showed up later than expected. She was easy to get ahold of and was promptly available with a smile on her face, she also helped me with some tips to help alleviate the terrible altitude sickness I dealt with on both nights I stayed. If I weren’t headed so far away, I would definitely come back here again!

10- Location- within walking distance to everything. 1- Cleanliness and condition. One towel had a hole it big enough for a foot. Trash outside of our door for 4 days. See picture. Not worth the price.

It was small, but enough space to get around. Some hair was in the shower that wasn't ours. There wasn't a light over the mirror so you can't see to do makeup or anything. Internet connection didn't work for tv. Thin walls. Very noisy in the early morning.

The room was very small but clean. The bed was so so… we got in late because of construction coming up the mountain and not know where we were headed as this was our first time in Silverton. We had no cell service and internet so communication was a problem. Apparently, the office closes at 8pm. We couldn’t reach anyone and we were concerned we would not have anywhere to stay! We did connect with someone once we got to the front door and enjoyed the rest of our stay although the room was very small. Glad it was very clean though!

Room size was very small for 2 people and our gear, very crowded. Room got very warm at night and had no viable way to cool down. No exterior windows. Wish I knew the state before booking or I would have stayed else where.

Nice, little room for a one-nighter... ...IF the bed wasn't so uncomfortable, the T.V. worked, the coffeemaker didn't need to be in the sink to reach an outlet, and if the coffeemaker had a pot make to fit it (this one wasn't tall enough and had to be held up against the drip valve to allow coffee to come out. And maybe a little bit brighter light. Besides that it's a nice little room

The room was very very small and no insulation aka loud and can hear neighbors talking and watching tv like they were in my bed with me. Also had a very hot and plastic mattress cover and no AC

Front deesk guy at Triangle motel which does the checkin for hotel was rude.

Our stay was wonderful! The power got knocked out from the snow storm and the manager gave us a refund for that day without us even asking. She answered all questions and we really enjoyed our stay!

We were scammed at this hotel!! Do not book here! When we arrived at the given location ( we received an email from the hotel to check-in at a different location) but the door was closed and nobody was there. We phoned the hotel twice and left a message. We than waited another 20 minutes and left, this to look for a different hotel. We than contacted Expedia, to explain what happened. We were told that we should have waited there and that there was no way to get our prepayment back. I am totally dissapointed in this hotel AND the expedia service. Gold member for more than 10 years, but unsure now if i will continue with them

Friendly staff, easy check-in and parking. Only complaint is the thermostat wasn't working correctly when we got in the room but the staff fixed it in the morning. Please install a couple coat hooks to help with drying ski gear.

This place was awesome! Very friendly staff, clean rooms and the breakfast was excellent! It was a little off the beaten path, but we loved it! Highly recommend!
