Informative and kind staff eagerly serve you. Although I didn't use them, there were conference rooms, fitness center, and a variety of casual spaces other than the bedroom units. I would highly recommend staying here!

Everything was great - bed was comfortable, room was clean. Breakfast was awesome! Had a nice variety, something for everyone. Staff all very friendly. Coffee in lobby was very good, and there was a nice selection of items in the mini-store, which was helpful when we were looking for late-night soup. Great location. Nice that they offered a bike shed.

Conveniently located near the NMU campus and several restaurants. Hikes, Presque Isle Park, and other places are within close driving distance. The hotel has a nice fitness room, plenty of complimentary breakfast options and parking, and a washer and dryer guests can use for free. The rooms are clean and have several nice features, including a comfortable bed, different lighting options, a refrigerator, and toiletries. The hotel staff were friendly, and checkout was super easy - you can just scan a QR code and leave your keys in the room. The room felt a bit tight and there isn't a pool, but overall we thought it was a great value for the price and we will return if back in the area.

Very clean. Amenities include free use of laundry facilities for guests, which I greatly appreciated. The breakfast is very nice. There is locked bike storage for those who need it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Conveniently located to walkable points of interest. 10 out of 10!

They work very hard at making your stay comfortable It is clean, great amenities, best “ continental “ breakfast, sauna, workout room. Place has been updated. wonderful location, ample parking, can walk to eateries, etc. easy check in. elevator. Would definitely stay here again

This hotel is very clean. They offer coffee and snacks 24 hrs in the lobby. Breakfast has a yogurt bar, potatoes, eggs, meat, with many fruit, and carb choices. The bakery and breads are from a local bakery. For grsndparents staying in town for a hockey tournament having no pool was a plus as the hockey players dont stay there.

The room was updated and clean. This is a very nice hotel for the money. The breakfast was great and much better than the other hotels we have stayed in with hot steal cut oatmeal with all the toppings to add, a selection of hot eggs, meat, etc., fresh bagels with toppings, fresh baked goods - not the type wrapped in plastic, and a variety of bakery breads. We could walk to the dome (right next door) or down town for dinner ( a couple of miles). The staff was very welcoming.

First of all, the room was not clean. There was a lot of hairs on the floor and bed and towels were not clean enough. But the most annoying part was the staff. When we check-in, the receptionist was too rude. She has no idea and ability about how to talk to a customer. They are not professional. You can find better options in this area. Don’t waste your money.

The hotel was easy to find and impeccably clean. The employees were helpful and professional. Did I mention the place was CLEAN?!? The breakfast was good - hot and cold items both, and the eating and food area were clean. We would definitely recommend.

We started staying here a few years ago. The last few times the front desk was not very personable. Our room this time seemed like it was getting run down. There were eyelashes on the sheet and our feet got dirty by walking on the floor. I don’t know if it changed ownership or management? Definitely not the same quality as before. The breakfast room was excellent though. She was very sweet and the food was great!

Lived up to the excellent prior reviews. It is impeccably clean, extremely quiet, and the hostess who checked us in called me by name when we came back several hours later. I could live here. I highly recommend you stay here.

The only thing we didn’t like was how uncomfortable the mattresses were. My husband, my son(19yrs) and myself did not sleep well due to the mattresses. Other than that, the hotel was perfect. Get new mattresses

Our room was super clean and had plenty of space. It was quiet, staff was friendly and the hotel is conveniently located. I found the bed to be a bit too firm to be comfortable but my much younger daughter was perfectly comfortable. Overall it was a good stay!

Checking in the lady behind the desk was extremely pleasant. The fact that the room has earplugs is really nice seeing how close to NMU stadium it is. The amenities are quite nice in the room. My only negative is that the roads around here people drive crazy so there is noise (not against the property and covered by the earplugs)

Absolutely excellent staff who are very helpful. The property is well kept up and clean. However...the bed frames feel sub par...they allow the mattress to sag too much. And the coffee was the worst of my otherwise great trip. Very weak...it tasted like a concentrate and one that I would never buy. If you can get over those two things...this place is great. Again...very nice staff.

Received both email and text that I had already been checked into my room which I thought was kinda weird, but didn't really think anything of it. Was initially happy with check-in. Checked in, but didn't immediately go to our room, decided to go grab a bite to eat. Came back to go into our room and there was already somebody in it. Went back down to front desk and they got us into another room. New room was ok, but there was some debris on the floor and the mini fridge was very loud most of the night. All in all it was a decent place for the price, but obviously was put-off by walking into an already occupied room.

This is our go-to hotel when we travel to Marquette. Our son goes to NMU and this hotel is close to campus, to downtown, and to Lake Superior. Very comfortable, breakfast is included, plenty of parking - it's everything we need!

Very friendly staff. Very helpful in answering questions. Dryer was broken and we needed to wash clothes. The staff offered to dry our clothes for us with the staff’s dryer. While we were out the owner fixed the dryer for guest. I would give them two thumbs up!!!!

This was our favorite hotel of our UP trip! The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was awesome. By far the best complimentary breakfast I’ve had. We loved the location on Third Street and could walk to restaurants like Blackrock Brewing. The staff was also friendly and helpful. We will be back!

I have traveled extensively over the last couple of years. The Superior Stay is, without question the best combination of price, value and amenities that I have experienced. This place is a gem! The breakfast offering was amazing. They use a locally sourced bakery for their bread, bagels, and scones. Scones? Nobody offers such delicious scones included in a complementary breakfast. The yogurt buffet was also beyond compare. They are rated as excellent. That is an understatment.

I’ll start with breakfast provided because reviews seem conflicting on this. The breakfast provided for our stay was abundant and satisfying. There were many options including hot items like eggs & bacon & potatoes, fresh pastries, dairy and steel cut oats. The room was comfortable and clean. The price was reasonable compared to the area. Parking was easy and we walked to restaurants. Excellent location for college visitors but we were tourists and happy with the location as well. We’d stay again.
