It’s more like a hostel than a hotel. Nothing wrong with the place if the expectation is for a hostel. Pros: It was clean. Cons: Checking in after 5.00pm is not easy. No one at reception. There are no elevators and the breakfast was insufficient by 8.30

Minha nota baixa deve-se basicamente a falta de clareza de dois pontos essenciais para quem vai se hospedar nesse hotel: 1- não há estacionamento disponível e estacionar na rua no local é difícil e complicado pois o hotel fica em um início de ladeira e as vagas estão sempre cheias. 2-O acesso ao quarto se faz por uma grande escada íngreme. Não há elevador no local nem ninguém para lhe ajudar com a bagagem. Assim se estiver de carro e com bagagens pense duas vezes antes de reservar nesse local. Essas informações deveriam constar facilmente e serem bem visíveis na descrição do hotel. Eu desisti de minha última diária exatamente pela dificuldade em estacionar nas proximidades e também pensando em como levaria a bagagem para o carro, visto período de chuva no local.

Check in was very difficult. Self check in with no one available at the hotel.Room was down four flights of very steep stairs. No elevator. Room smelled strongly of sewage. Bathroom had mold in the shower. Mattress was very thin. Two very small pillows. No housekeeping. Room was not cleaned. Beds were not made.Breakfast was a joke, cornflakes, and yogurt, a loaf of bread and a toaster. Coffee was terrible. Orange juice from a can. When time to check out. They would not accept credit card had to find an ATM to pay them in cash.

Unfortunately, from the outside you don't get a sense of the beauty and quality of the facility, which is a shame because once you enter, both the common area and the rooms are spacious, bright, clean and well appointed. Positive aspects: good breakfast, welcome bottle of water in the room, cozy common area, close to the Rede Expressos station and transportation to the main monuments and downtown, which are a half-hour walk away anyway. Negative aspects: not being able to leave luggage in storage, no elevator and the staircase is a bit narrow, only one towel and one bath sheet for two people

No receptionist upon arrival. Have to get code for lockbox. No elevator to room on third level. Breakfast was minimal and largely non nutritious. Staff courteous but cool.

Excellent taste in decoration. Very large room (#3) Next to bus terminal. Less than 10 min to center. Stairs to get to every room. Watch out if there is a baby in the next room: you'll be awaken. Very good breakfast. You can't get any info as morning staff is unilingual. Still, I'd go back. Location. Comfort.

The property is well maintained. Breakfast staff needs to be prepared to be friendly & welcoming. Location is ok but not suitable for anyone with any sort of limitations… stairwell would be a challenge and distance to center of town would be difficult to overcome… Coimbra was a lot less than expected… love Portugal ; not this city… it’s way over gritty ! Left the city earlier than planned…

Clef non disponible dans la boîte à clef, aucune réception ouverte, nous avons du appeler le numéro d'urgence pour qu'on vienne nous ouvrir. En rentrant cela semble propre mais en y regardant de plus près c'est loin d'être le cas. Joints de salle de bain moisis, tête de lit toute abîmée. Il faudrait porter beaucoup plus de soins aux finitions

The room was large and cosy for 4. It was clean and in good shape. Our room was on the quiet side of the building, but the hotel is located in a noisy road, jammed with traffic. It takes 25-30 minutes walk to get to the university / city center

The property was not easy to find. I was expecting a hotel and it was a small property converted in a hotel. The inside of the hotel was good, clean and spacious for a family of 4 although there seemed to be mold on the bathroom ceiling. We arrived at 3pm and there wasn’t anyone at reception (although it said that there would be someone until 6). Instructions to self check in were easy to follow and the breakfast was good. A convenient small property for one night.

Good option for Coimbra, value for money, awkward room without windows and only skylights, but overall spacious and just fine. Breakfast was basic but in way…just fine as well. I would come back!

Excellent taste in decoration. Very large room (#3) Next to bus terminal. Less than 10 min to center. Stairs to get to every room. Watch out if there is a baby in the next room: you'll be awaken. Very good breakfast. You can't get any info as morning staff is unilingual. Still, I'd go back. Location. Comfort.

The room was large and cosy for 4. It was clean and in good shape. Our room was on the quiet side of the building, but the hotel is located in a noisy road, jammed with traffic. It takes 25-30 minutes walk to get to the university / city center

The property is well maintained. Breakfast staff needs to be prepared to be friendly & welcoming. Location is ok but not suitable for anyone with any sort of limitations… stairwell would be a challenge and distance to center of town would be difficult to overcome… Coimbra was a lot less than expected… love Portugal ; not this city… it’s way over gritty ! Left the city earlier than planned…

The property was not easy to find. I was expecting a hotel and it was a small property converted in a hotel. The inside of the hotel was good, clean and spacious for a family of 4 although there seemed to be mold on the bathroom ceiling. We arrived at 3pm and there wasn’t anyone at reception (although it said that there would be someone until 6). Instructions to self check in were easy to follow and the breakfast was good. A convenient small property for one night.

Check in was very difficult. Self check in with no one available at the hotel.Room was down four flights of very steep stairs. No elevator. Room smelled strongly of sewage. Bathroom had mold in the shower. Mattress was very thin. Two very small pillows. No housekeeping. Room was not cleaned. Beds were not made.Breakfast was a joke, cornflakes, and yogurt, a loaf of bread and a toaster. Coffee was terrible. Orange juice from a can. When time to check out. They would not accept credit card had to find an ATM to pay them in cash.

Good option for Coimbra, value for money, awkward room without windows and only skylights, but overall spacious and just fine. Breakfast was basic but in way…just fine as well. I would come back!

Do not be fooled by the exterior! This is a hidden gem. Room was spotless, great instructions and staff friendly. Breakfast was minimal but more than enough to set you up. We travelled from the train station, walking so that was useful. The only minimal downside is limited staff hours, bur the reply to messages was great and even provided advice on where to go for a glass of wine. Can walk to the shops and centre within 15 minutes. We would absolutely stay here again. Note. The stairs are tight so maybe bot accessible for everyone!

O quarto e banheiro são grandes, mas a caixa acoplada demorava muito para encher. Não tem elevador, por isso é complicado acessar os quartos do piso superior (34 degraus) ou seja, para subir com malas é bem complicado e inviável. O café da manha é básico, mas atende.
