The hotel was nice and clean and the rooms were spacious. We checked in late at 1:30 am and the girl that checked us is was fantastic. She was so friendly, informative and quick at her job. I believe her name was Billie. The only negative was that the elevators were no working for part of our stay.

The stay was, overall, an above average experience. Pretty great. The only let-downs were: One, that there were some critical pieces missing from the two main gym machines and they did not replace them the entire two weeks we were there... And two the heated pool was not heated. It was October, so not the warmest, at least when we were there... Aside from that, great room, great internet connection, and nice property overall. Very convenient location too...

Loved the extras-bar in the lobby, pool, fire pit. Front desk staff friendly and kind. Comfortable beds. Loved the walk in shower. Washer and dryer access. Quiet at night. Nice having CVS, restaurants, grocery nearby.

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and a plus that they had a bar. Even though i didnt check it out, still convenient to have in the hotel and also nearby alot of places to eat. The fitness center was cool. Never been to one in a hotel before but it was nice and had alot of different weights to choose from and good cardio machines. The only thing would be that there is no hot tub. Which is one of my favorite things. Other than that the stay was the best. Thank you!

Would have given 5 stars in all categories but hotel had no water when we arrived but staff was extremely helpful when we told them we had a wedding rehearsal and dinner in 2 hours of arrival and needed to shower and use bathroom.Close to beach and great restaurant selection within walking distance

I have had problems trying to deal directly with this organization, in the past. But this weekend was really surprising. My bathroom sink had old toothpaste splattered in the bathroom sink. It was disgusting.

The hotel is located in a nice and friendly area.The first night I had to request a new mattress.Because the one that was on the bed was pretty worn-out. Housekeeping change the mattress without hesitation. The night before our checkout, I gradually move the mattress from the headboard and I notice a lot of hair and crumbs between the headboard and the mattress. I was pretty disgusted. I did inform the front desk. And she stated that she would address this situation immediately to the housekeeping department. After discovering this hairy situation I was disappointed after paying $1,400 for 4 nights. The desk clerk did offer points towards my rewards membership with Hampton Inn & Suites. I will think twice before I will booked again at this location 771 Palm Ave Imperial Beach California.

Local in the area, experience a pumpkin g issue at my home. Able to book quick! Close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores which made the stay even easier. Front desk staff was very friendly, breakfast was good and the room was perfectly cleaned.

I usually stay at this location because it’s close to family, this time we encountered a few issues. 1. The bed smelled dirty, like drool. 2. There were hairs found all around the shower and on top of the shampoo/shower gel. 3. When going for breakfast, it was closed 45 minutes after the “open” time. When asked the status the front clerk said a few more minutes.

This Hampton was one of the best we have stayed in. Everything was so clean and well kept. Someone was always cleaning, the entire 5 days we stayed. All the staff was friendly. Would stay again!

They offer ocean view rooms for a higher price. They arent even near the ocean, let alome facing it. It was veyond misleading and made for a very disappointing stay, coming from AZ we wanted to stay at the beach which is why we chose this hotel. It was a scam. We left a photo of our "ocean front view" that we paid extra for.

The hotel is new and clean. Staff was helpful. We paid extra for an ocean view room. The view of the bay, not ocean was 7-8 blocks in the distance. The ocean view bay view was a joke. Don't pay extra.

Property is beautiful, exceeded my expectations. The room was so large and spacious. Had mini fridge, microwave, bar sink, large closet, ice machine by the elevator and USB plugs everywhere. I was very happy with our stay here.

Room was very clean they have a nice little bar in the lobby with food options . Rooms are energy efficient lots of power outlets . Walls are not to thin where you can hear the person in the next room . Close to Coronado beach about 7 minutes away and 20 minutes away from Downtown San Diego . Would definetly stay here again !

Hampton Inn Imperial beach is at a convenient location, but keep in mind it's on a busy street. I would recommend asking for a room in the back to help eliminate the noise of the street. Happy hour at the bar, was mediocre at best. Chips & salsa were cold broken chips with salsa served in a cardboard bowl. Cocktails were average, a bit premade mix tasting. The complimentary breakfast was done right. Plenty of options, eggs, bagels, waffles, bacon, cereals etc, and bonus they always had hot coffee & tea available. You'll pay for parking but they offer free EV charging for guests, this was a wonderful surprise.

The hotel was clean and seems to have been maintained well. The breakfast that was offered each day during our four day stay was the same each day except for the breakfast meat choice. I was concerned that the proper food temperatures were not being maintained for food safety…I attempted to address with the kitchen staff…they did not speak English….Front desk was not concerned and did not take action or address my concern.

We’ve stayed here before and the service is the best part. Every desk clerk does everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The room wasn’t as clean this last time. There were lots of fingerprints on switch plates and high use surfaces like lamp switches. The floor seemed like it could have been mopped in non carpeted areas. It seems like the Covid cleaning days are over? Hopefully they will step up the game again because yiu shouldn’t have to goto a 5 star hotel to have a clean room. Hotels deteriorate when not cleaned properly. Hopefully next time will be like other times we stayed there. We were not totally grossed out, but definitely guarded and will request a clean room next time lol. & we didn’t say anything due to our bandwidth and we’re only staying there 2 nights.

Front desk very nice and informative. Check in/out was quick which I loved. Our room was clean and our king bed was really comfortable. I had a good night sleep. Love the fact that Starbucks was just next building, and other dinning restaurants. The area is very quiet and nice. And finally, the beach was just 4 mins away from there which was amazing too. I will always come back for a mini vacation!

This hotel was easy, convenient, and had spacious rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were conveniently located near everything...dining, Coronado, not far from the 5, shopping, etc. If we're back in the area, we'd definitely stay here again.

Its pretty distant from everything or anything near downtown San Diego, getting to the border to Mexico is almost impossible without a car and the manager and asst manager were promoted beyond their grace or host quality.

When I arrived I told the front desk that the toilet didn’t flush. I went to get some coffee from the complimentary money area and the coffee was cold. When I returned from my event, later that evening, my toilet had not been fixed.

I was staying in other Hampton Inn hotels, and in general the breakfast in this one is not as good as in other ones, the service is good, is an issue that you should ask for room's cleanings, is an advantage to have free parking

The room was adequate and a good location with amenities. The breakfast was quite unhealthy other than the yogurt because disappointing the fruit was often bitter or not ripe. Worse was the cold tea and coffee each morning - no matter what time you went to the hot drink area, the option was luke warm water for tea of cold coffee! There was no option to get anything else at breakfast - the room has a coffee machine for tea so as you can imagine, your tea taste of coffee there. So every morning, you have to hit the Starbucks to get a cuppa. There is also no room service.
