Mitsis Faliraki

Not 5*! The staff are great and very personable. Especially George (entertainment), Yulia and Nikos (Servers). However, there isn’t enough of them, you can be queueing at the bar for 5-10 mins when there’s only 3/4 people in front. The entertainment is great but you have to actively try to find out what is going on as it is only advertised on a small poster in the gym. Had to go round the pool myself to try get a few people to play volleyball. The gym is mediocre, it’s outside which means you can probably do about 20 mins before you overheat and the equipment is a bit limited.The pool and beach area is nice and well looked-after but its important to know the beach is public (this isn’t the hotels fault, its the law) therefore may be wise to think twice when leaving valuables whilst you go for a dip (we didn’t have an issue though). As for the rooms, they’re decent, the beds are comfy and you have enough space. Would’ve expected to see an iron and ironing board for a 5* but that’s acceptable. The cleaners do a good job of cleaning your room but weren’t replenishing mini-bar, toiletries etc. I had to ask for a bar of soap, even though it was clear ours was nearly finished. They do come round in the evening replacing towels though which is a nice touch. Lastly, the food was decent. Everything was well cooked and tasty but became very repetitive especially breakfast. The crepe bar and pizzeria is great but again you can queue for a while and the pizza is one slice not a full pie

The Mitsis Faliraki is a beautiful hotel with exceptionally helpful staff, reception were a great support when husband was unwell. Buffet dining is excellent with some really superb show cooking of Greek and Turkish dishes. Sun loungers are plenty with lots of options - several pools, garden and beach and all the loungers are cushioned! Although the hotel was busy there were no queues for the bars in the evening as both the main bar and pool bar serve the entertainment area and also served by waiting staff. Walking distance to the main Faliraki area but didn’t feel you were too close, the double glazed balcony doors kept any noise out! All in all a wonderful hotel and highly recommended.

Maten fantastisk med a la carte restaurangerna. Bra minibar på rummet. Trevlig personal på hotellet samt gott bubbel i barerna. Fin strand precis nedanför strandbaren. Det enda negativa (som på många andra resorter) är att man måste va uppe i tid för att få solstolar vid poolen. Speciellt om man behöver parasoll. Över lag ett av de bästa hotelllen jag bott på i Grekland.

Bästa hotellet!!! Jättefint poolområde, gott om jättebra personal, bra service, härlig strand, jättebra att bada där. Förutom buffé med mycket att välja på, så finns det sex restauranger att äta på i fin miljö och en hamburgerrestaurang för lunch. Vi blev uppgraderade till rum med egen pool, så klart att vi är supernöjda!

Mitsis Faliraki was absolutely wonderful and would highly recommend it to anyone hoping to stay in a upmarket all inclusive hotel in Rhodes! The bar staff, team in reception and restaurant staff were all so kind, polite and helpful, and no request was too big! The evening entertainment was amazing and we enjoyed every night. The facilities are great, the pool is a perfect size and temperature and the beach was clean and hosted water sports. The location was perfect! Just 20/30 minutes from the airport and able to walk into Faliraki centre in 2 mins for a vibrant nightlife and bars. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which we utilised to head to the infamous Rhodes Water Park just 3km away and up to Rhodes old town also.

Ett bra hotell med hög standard och utmärkt läge i Faliraki. Även god standard på all inclusive, bra urval på mat (även om det kan bli ensidigt efter ett tag) och välgjorda drinkar. Enda nackdelen var att gäster ockuperade solstolar som inte nyttjades under större delen av dagen. Man behöver vakna tidigt för att säkerställa en plats.

Chambre assez grande par contre le ménage dans la salle de bain n'a pas été effectuée tous les jours malgré les réclamations auprès du service client et réception. Les femmes de chambres sont très bruyantes dans les couloirs à partir de 8h du matin.

Jag och min fästman har väldigt nöjda med detta hotellet. Servicen var super bra och rummen är fina och rena. Personalen är väldigt hjälpsam. Hotellets all inklusive var väldigt bra om man jämför med det andra hotell. Utöver buffén (som är bra och varierande), så finns där restaurangen som man kan boka för med olika typer av mat som italienskt, asiatiskt, mexikanskt mm. Finns pizza och pannkakor till som snacks. Drinkarna var väldigt goda och personalen är väldigt flexibel. Man kan på plats boka taxi och olika aktiviteter. Där är både pool (flera stycken) och plats på stranden. Något som hade kunnat förbättras är när man checkar in är att man får information om maten/snacks, vad som finns att göra på området, detta fick man söka sig till och man kan missa att det finns paddel, tennis och så mycket mer på området. Plats vid poolen är rätt svårt att få, så man behöver vara vid poolen väldigt tidigt. Jag hade verkligen rekommenderat detta hotell, min vistelse var underbar! Ps: Jag och min fästman har nyligen förlovat oss och personalen hade gjort vårt rum så fint men rosenblad och lite överraskningar. Helt fantastisk personal!

Struttura in posizione centrale a Faliraki, con posti auto a disposizione. Eccellente il personale, dalla reception ai ristoranti/bar, tutti gentilissimi! Molto buoni i ristoranti. Il mare è in una spiaggia di sabbia ben organizzata con servizio all’ombrellone.

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel mit vielfältigem Speisenangebot durch à la carte zusätzlich zum AI-Buffet. Sehr modern gehaltene Anlage und schöner Strand mit vielen, bequemen Liegen. Eine klare Empfehlung für jeden, der auf Rhodos Urlaub machen möchte. Von Faliraki aus können sämtliche Hotspots (Rhodos City, Lindos etc.) schnell erreicht werden.

Hotel was spotless, staff lovely and very friendly. Only a few mins walk into shops, bars etc. Food was ok but definitely room for improvement. In the buffet restaurant sometimes the trays were empty, long queues. Al a carted, great choice but qualify of the food wasn’t great.

Our stay at the hotel was quite pleasant, despite its size the staff were friendly and polite, which may be a reflection of great customer service training. The rooms were generally clean and tidy and any issues were dealt with promptly. In room facilities were good and if any extras were needed the staff were only willing to help. Eg. They did not have an iron available when I needed one, they offered the alternative of ironing my clothes for me. The hotel has a number of restaurants and bars, a wide variety of foods to suit most palates. However in the main restaurant that provides a buffet menu for a large amount of people the food can fall below par. Unfortunately a number of people from our party got food poisoning! Including me! I see this is not an isolated issue as this seems to have been mentioned in other reviews. Not sure what the food safety practices are like behind the scenes… Overall light, airy, family friendly hotel with plenty to do and great customer service but need to look at their food hygiene training.

However, I had to give this 3 stars as the rooms are very tired and old and are in need of refurbishment. I found hair in my shower head, which was eventually resolved by the hotel staff and my son and I received an apology. Several of the guests I was travelling with unfortunately had food poisoning, but I guess this is a risk with all inclusive and having food out for a while. Also several cats managed to get into the hotel. Overall the hotel staff make this a 5 star, and their job is made a lot harder by the improvements not going into the hotel itself. Whether you have a good stay is a bit of a luck of the draw.

This is a well-run busy hotel, well worth of its 5-star rating. Staff are extremely polite, happy to see you and always helpful. The hotel areas are big enough and very clean inside and outside in the paved areas. I think the bars are open from the morning till late, 1.30 am. Food is primarily available all day and night. During the busy season, the hotel has a serious shortage problem of wooden sun loungers placed around the three pools. They also allow guests to reserve them from the early hours, so unless you get up at 6 am, you won't find one and you'll be forced to use the other inferior ones on the grass that is full of mosquitos or the ones on the beach. When mentioned, the management was quick to offer a solution. We were pleasantly surprised when each day snacks and wine on the ice were served in the room. The room bar is stocked up daily. The towels in the room could do with a makeover, they've seen better days. On one day, there's unnecessary noise from cleaning and grass-cutting machinery, work that could be done at night. The food is a mix of Greek and international cuisine, mostly good and available 24 hours a day. The restaurant runs efficiently and has plenty of nice fresh food. Panayiotis the outdoor restaurant waiter was extremely efficient, couldn't do enough for us, was ahead of his game all the time, provided top-class service and made a nice dining experience. Dimitris, the restaurant manager, open the fish and served it to us, a very kind gesture.

Service und Lage positiv, Meer auch ruhig und positiv Negativ war, dass wir Ameisen im Zimmer hatten.. und evtl. auch Lebensmittel Vergiftung heißt 3 Tage nur Brot gegessen :)

Good food, friendly staff & very clean. Just not 5 star. It's a 4 star hotel at best. Would however go again & recommend.

Das Hotel ist an sich wirklich super, die Zimmer sind allerdings etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Die Reinigung der Zimmer erfolgt täglich, wobei der Boden oder Staub nicht wirklich gewischt wird. Trotzdem waren wir mit allem glücklich. Personal ist wirklich super freundlich, ausnahmslos. Strand ist Geschmacksache, uns hat er nicht so sehr gefallen. Essen war gut, zu empfehlen sind die A la Carte Restaurants. Rhodos Altstadt muss man gesehen haben, einfach traumhaft schön.

We weren’t given the room we’d paid for which was a double sea view we were given a twin We then had to wait an hour for them to change our room they t then decided they wouldn’t change the room but push the beds together This is a five star hotel ! The food was also cold that we ate whilst waiting for the room After complaining to hotels.com after about an hour on the phone they contacted the hotel who said there wasn’t anyone there to approve a refund We were told we wouldn’t get a refund initially as we’d cancelled whuch we hadn’t We were very unhappy with the room and cold food the staff had said they would put it down as a no show which was ridiculous as we’d waited an hour for them to sort out the room We were then told that a refund could take up to 72 hours !! It was a disaster as it was a night away and hadn’t planned to spend any money as it was all inclusive Our night was ruined We were given a refund minus tourist tax tgat we’d paid to the hotel and hotel tax not sure why we had to pay either as we didn’t stay there So it cost us £20 to wait for an hour in the hotel !! We got the refund the following day thanks to an efficient lady from hotels .com

Très bon hôtel tout compris avec accès direct a la plage. - La chambre attribuee le premier jour n’était pas celle de la réservation mais nous avons pu avoir finalement la chambre de la reservation le lendemain.

A hidden gem. The rooms could do with a refresh but are clean and the ultra all inclusive is excellent value and quality. The staff are friendly and couldn’t do enough for you even in the last week of the season.

Das Hotel und das Personal war hervorragend. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend! Negativ waren Hotelgäste die am Abend übermäßig laut waren. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig!

The location was excellent — just a 5-minute walk into Faliraki town, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are somewhat dated and could benefit from renovation to truly match a 5-star standard. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety available at the buffet. The à la carte restaurants were exceptional, especially the Italian and Pan-Asian options.

Amazing service from ALL the staff. So friendly and welcoming. Great hotel with lots of choice in the A La Carte restaurants and buffet also good. Rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay here!

Great place to spend a week in the height of summer! Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. During the wildfires around 500 people were evacuated to our hotel, and staff dealt with this amazingly well making sure that everyone were looked after. They ensures food and drinks were available to all and when evacuees left, the hotel was quickly back to its usual standard. Food was lovely and plentiful, plenty of alcohol available and overall this has been a wonderful holiday despite the current wildfire situation. Best wishes to all the affected and evacuees!

Wie immer Klasse. Insbesondere die Leistung einiger Mitarbeiter wie z.B. Nikos 1 vom Strand, Nikos 2 vom Concierge (Koffer und Empfang), Dimitris vom Buffet, Natalia von der Hauptbar. Absolutely loved our stay at Mitsis Faliraki. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as well as its right on the beach and a 2 minute walk to the main town.

Hervorzuheben ist das äußerst freundliche Personal, das sehr gute Essen- und Getränkeangebot und die Sauberkeit. Den Strandabschnitt könnte man noch etwas aufwerten, ansonsten war alles gut.

Our stay at the hotel was quite pleasant, despite its size the staff were friendly and polite, which may be a reflection of great customer service training. The rooms were generally clean and tidy and any issues were dealt with promptly. In room facilities were good and if any extras were needed the staff were only willing to help. Eg. They did not have an iron available when I needed one, they offered the alternative of ironing my clothes for me. The hotel has a number of restaurants and bars, a wide variety of foods to suit most palates. However in the main restaurant that provides a buffet menu for a large amount of people the food can fall below par. Unfortunately a number of people from our party got food poisoning! Including me! I see this is not an isolated issue as this seems to have been mentioned in other reviews. Not sure what the food safety practices are like behind the scenes… Overall light, airy, family friendly hotel with plenty to do and great customer service but need to look at their food hygiene training.

Overall a good stay! The staff are, polite, friendly, helpful and courteous and a true testament to the hotel. However, I had to give this 3 stars as the rooms are very tired and old and are in need of refurbishment. I found hair in my shower head, which was eventually resolved by the hotel staff and my son and I received an apology. Several of the guests I was travelling with unfortunately had food poisoning, but I guess this is a risk with all inclusive and having food out for a while. Also several cats managed to get into the hotel. Overall the hotel staff make this a 5 star, and their job is made a lot harder by the improvements not going into the hotel itself. Whether you have a good stay is a bit of a luck of the draw.

Service und Lage positiv, Meer auch ruhig und positiv Negativ war, dass wir Ameisen im Zimmer hatten.. und evtl. auch Lebensmittel Vergiftung heißt 3 Tage nur Brot gegessen :)

The location was excellent — just a 5-minute walk into Faliraki town, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are somewhat dated and could benefit from renovation to truly match a 5-star standard. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety available at the buffet. The à la carte restaurants were exceptional, especially the Italian and Pan-Asian options.

Stayed July 23 can’t fault the staff or hotel but sadly both teenage boys caught food poisoning from eating chicken burgers at the a la Carrie restaurant half way through our holiday. They were so so ill they were admitted to hospital and put on drips The hospital confirmed it was food poisoning as they had blood and stool tests which cost us £3000 plus new flights as we couldn’t travel home. That money we got back from insurance but not the holiday cost or the pain the boys went through. I did tell Expedia but they weren’t interested. So I’m afraid I will not be booking with them again or staying at the Mitsis Faliraki ever again

Schlechtes Essen (Lebensmittelvergiftung) und keine sauberen Zimmer. Bucht man ein Taxi über das Hotel, zahlt man 10€ mehr.
