Pacific Dunes Resort

Not enough toilet paper in room ran out at 4am. Shower didn't heat up enough was piss warm. The room smells like Pinesole really bad tried to air out. Hard to breathe

No handsoap, all the containers in shower were empty. One working toilet, one working shower, dumpster overflowing, dirty floor, dusty headboard, usb not working, obvious fire damage amd mold to tent, no office or manager available. The name said Glamping but this place was way over priced for what we received.

The camp provides barbecues and gas cylinders. The rooms, which are spacious, are equipped with stoves and decorated in a warm style.

The property is run down and not well-maintained. Our tent had visible mold and it looks like the flooring underlayment got soaked. Looking at past reviews the tents experienced flooding. Bathrooms were worse than state park restrooms when it comes to cleanliness. Only one functioning shower. Other shower was missing shower head and other guest couldn’t use it so I hurried to let her use the functioning one. Our tent flap zipper was broken and “fixed” with duct tape which doesn’t stick to canvas so I caution guests bringing dogs. Not worth $240 a night. Owners need to invest in fixing up the place.

Terrible place to stay. Most important to know is that the Innkeeper needs further training in order for her to do an adequate job. First, she doesn’t respond to calls or texts. Second, lack of communication and follow through. For example, there was no hot water, showers were closed. Third, inadequate and misleading website description. The Wi-Fi was sketchy. Television couldn’t get connected Tiny home circuit breaker needed to be reset due to microwave and heater was too much power for breaker. Stayed two nights instead of 3. The Innkeeper promised to email receipt which turned out false. I am due a credit but Kayla has ghosted me.

A working gas system, a working water heater, higher water pressure in the shower, and more towels would improve the room. Keenan and Jaime were great and very accommodating though!

Nobody on site and office closed. At 3am the chimney of our wood burning stove clogged and smoked out our glamping tent so bad that we had to leave at 4am. Overall we were disappointed in the stay but it was a cool spot. Would consider in summer.

Had to leave a night earlier. The idea is wonderful but the lady that takes care of the resort is over worked. She was trying to help everyone. Out OG Tiny home was cute but the bed mattress was of a sofa bed very thin. Small ants on the kitchen level and the fireplace ( heat) inside didn’t work. We tried to get everything dealt with but no luck so had to leave ☹️

Very clean. ZERO water pressure. No coffee. NO internet, not even a hotspot.

Great glamping. Has the ability to cook with a grill but a imited ability to wash up, and no utensils.

Cute place but there is definitely a spider problem. We found 6 just between the bedroom and bathroom. Made for a rough night sleep when they came out of a crack in the wall in the bedroom.

The place was clean, beautiful quiet and easy access to the beach. It was just a beautiful stay. I can’t wait to return.

There was a problem with the wifi and no resolution was reached. There wasn't adequate signal for their own tv to receive their internet only services such as YouTube and Netflix, there was no cable. Upon contacting the owners, who were never onsite per the signs on their door, they had to reset the router, then Copalis only has one internet provider, to it's only us. Even though screenshots were sent showing it was their router and an authentication issue, we were without cell service and internet all weekend while at the resort. With leaving loved ones at home and needing cell service for an emergency call, that's unacceptable. The room was semi updated; however, it smelled from being old and not properly cleaned. The bathroom smelled of urine and the shower leaked from the corner into the hallway. The front curtains weren't wide enough to fully close and cover the window. The updates they have made are good but by definitely will not be staying there again.

Such a cozy clean glamp spot. Great planning with the tents, rvs, and mini homes. Bathrooms in a central location and equally accessible from each spot in the camp. The perfect get away and alternative to lodging in Ocean Shores. We’ll definitely be back.

This place has the potential to be a great space it is super cute and quaint, however the room for improvement is that they need to do a more thorough cleaning. Day 1 we walked around our room barefoot and our feet were black with dirt. The bathroom and kitchen also could have used a more thorough cleaning there were a lot of spiders and ants everywhere.

Everything was great! The only complaint is the oven had some left over residue from a past guest. When trying to use the oven, it caused the smoke alarm to go off since it hadn’t been properly cleaned prior.

It was very grimy, particularly the bathroom area around the toilet. The tiny home was adorable though. It is setup kinda like a tiny neighborhood. The units are incredibly close to one another which ruins the entire rural atmosphere, if that’s what you’re looking for. I wanted to relax and get away from town but found a smaller version of town instead.

Little spot! Got in, dropped off our bags and headed straight to the beach! Beautiful little trail down there. The comfiest sheets we've ever experienced. Loved it! Want to come back and check out the tiny houses!

Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. My only word of caution is that they probably do not have a very strong Internet connection so if you need reliable (fast) wifi, this may not be your best bet. That being said, we had no issue with the lack of Internet or limited cell signal here.

I don't think we would stay again. The wi-fi didn't work at all, the hot water in our tiny house didn't work so we were unable to use our shower. Had to wash our dishes in cold water and only provided a used sponge to use. Not even a full roll of toilet paper or paper towels in our unit when we arrived and no back up toilet paper on hand either. Since there was no wifi or cell service we were unable to ask for help if needed.

Dinette table is unstable, so don't place expensive things on top! Bedding looked questionable as to if they had been laundered. Floors in the loft weren't swept. Bathroom dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were empty. The internet had terrible connectivity. No coffee machines, so bring your own! The cost of the tiny home wasn’t worth the cost.

his place is AWEFUL! I would not recommend it to anyone! We booked this hotel via Expedia. We received the email a day before stated they will text the check in instruction on the check-in day. However, we have never received any confirmation on how to check in and the signal in Seabrook was very spotty. We finally find somewhere with decent signal and called the hotel, They told us, our room ladder was broken!!!!!!!! So we can't access to one of the bed. They knew the ladder was broken days ago but never bother to mention when they send us the email?? They kept on asking do you need both beds? There is one bed available tho, I was like this room not the right condition so we asked for the free cancellation since it's not right and they told us 8PM when we were about to check in! They never contact us in advance. They agreed to cancel the room on the phone but we are still waiting for the refund. When I called back to follow up the cancelation they told us to contact to Expedia because they can't reach out the owner, but when the Expedia tried to call them, they haven't answered the calls, for days, They do not response! This place is super shady!!!!!!

The staff and Angie were great!!! They were working hard but made it a point to offer help or suggestions. We will definitely go back. The bonus: OUR DOG WAS WELCH WELCOME

While our stay started on the wrong foot with the untended tiny home the customer service provided by Devin, the Innkeeper, by far made up for it! The issue was immediately addressed and we were pleased to continue our stay. The resort is lovely with great access to the beach, dead quiet, and safe. I would personally bring cleaning supplies, it’s clear that the minimum is done to keep the home dust/stain/bathroom cleaned. I would still 100% recommend the stay but maybe arrive early to clean and use your own linens. Location 10/10 Innkeeper Devin 10/10 Previous housekeeper… -10/10 Sheets/Linens 4/10 Tiny 12/10 😍

The kitchenette only had a single hotplate to heat a meal, besides the microwave, and it was a hazard, it needed to be unplugged each time or it would continue to hear presenting a fire hazard. I guess that the guests are required to bring their own hangars as there were none in the closet to hang up any clothes. The outside was dismal, at best. The grass was dead and had not been mowed in a long time. The place was uninviting to look at. There were 3 grills but did not appear to function. + The only real positive note was the manager, Alex, who went out of her way to help us find the property and did what she could to make our stay pleasant. She was the only person on site that I saw doing any work; she was managing, housecleaning, working with visitors and such.

They offer contactless check-in, which was a bonus. I entered the rental and checked things out any thing I felt I needed to report I did and the manager was great about it. The place is secluded, so if you need a quiet place to get away and free your mind this is most definitely it. I would love to book again during the summer and would probably choose a tent. I went with the tiny home just for the experience not knowing what to really expect. It had everything I needed including a kitchen to cook.

We originally thought to stay in a tent, for glamping experience, but chose a tiny house for more of a hotel experience. We expected hot water, television and internet. When we arrived we discovered the houses don't lock from the outside, so we could just walk in. Problematic! We reached out to the property and were told they would come check our hot water and television/internet in the morning. What?! We were only staying 1 night and check out is 10 a.m. We were told about the community showers. My daughter came back and said they were gross, so the rest of us didn't want that experience. We had paid for private showers. We were told the television should work. We tried several things, but it would not let us play any of the menu options. I will say the resort setup is a great concept with potential, but without a friendly manager on-site to host, and resolve issues it's a dud with probably few customer returns. That's really to bad. Disappiinting to pay for a house but alas we had the glamping experience. Nobody has reached out with an apology or price adjustment of any kind. Unfortunately, we probably won't be returning.

This was the cutest place we’ve stayed in a long time! The bungalows were perfect and had everything you’d need. The walk to the beach was perfect! We loved our stay here! Wish it was longer!

Probably one of the coolest places we’ve stayed. It was a tiny home with two beds on opposite sides of the house- one side had stairs and the other had a ladder like for a loft, it was fun to wave to our 7 year old and tell stories before bed without having to share a bed. The walk to the beach is fun- over a little bridge to cross the river and then miles and miles of sandy beach. The walk to the beach was only 10 minutes or so and

This property is so incredible! Simple yet diverse. You can have a different loving experience all on one property. It is set just a few minutes away for the main town of ocean shores. It is so peaceful and quiet and accessible to the “lease travelled” parts of the beach. I truly cannot say enough about this place. They will always have a loyal guest on me! Thank you Pacific Dunes Resort for never disappointing! ❤️

A great location with about a 20 min hike to the beach. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We loved the “Glamping”! We had a blast making a fire in the fire pit and the beach was ncredible. Best nights sleep in a long time!

Glamping with a modern touch. We liked staying here a lot but make sure if you want to use the futon that you bring your own sleeping bags and towels. Loved being in walking distance to the beach!

Host was very accommodating. We had to switch from a tent to bungalow due to unexpected super cold/rainy weather and they were able to help us relocate quickly. Pet fees is cheaper than other places. Location is pretty convenient in between Ocean Shores and Seabrook. The king bed is very comfy to sleep in. The water here does have really strong iron smell to it, but I don’t know if there’s anything that could be done about it. Check in and out is pretty easy as well
