Olivia's Hill Resort is our last stop of our holidays in Albania and we wish we were here earlier! The hotel was only opened 3 months ago and it is in a great condition. Our room is in good size and bed is very comfy. It has a outdoor pool, rooftop bar and kids play area. There are plenty of sunloungers next to the pool and staff do table service for drinks and food. In the evening they have live music so very good atmosphere. A nice chat with the owner who is very friendly and passionate about the hotel and the business. A few things to improve: - Both food and drinks menus are quite limited and there are a few items unavailable on the menus e.g. mussels, mojito... - Breakfast buffet can be better presented - Staff are very good and work very hard but there is no manager presence. Manager could have helped during peak/busy period. I have seen other reviews complaining about the loud music and noise. It is an European style resort with a beautiful pool with loud music so if you are looking for a very quiet place this isn't for you. All in all, the hotel is not perfect but we think it deserve a five star for its facility, service and value. Thanks and we will definitely return!

🇩🇪🇩🇪 Wir waren das erste Mal in Albanien. Hotel: Ist in einem sehr guten und neuwertigen Zustand. Zimmer waren sauber und gepflegt. Schöner Garten mit einem kleinen Kinderspielplatz. Es gibt eine Rooftop Bar in der 7 Etage. Pool: Liegt sehr gut in der Sonne, genung liegen waren vorhanden. Es gibt auch extra für Kinder am Pool ein Bereich was super auch für Erwachsene war damit sich auch hinsetzen kann. Essen: Das Frühstück Buffet war war sehr gut. Es gab Eier, Würstchen, Hähnchen, Tomaten, Gurken, Müsli, Nutella, Honig, Säfte und Wasser. Kaffe und Cappuccino waren auch da. Hotel Standort: Das Hotel liegt in der zweiten Reihe was denn Vorteil hat das es schön ruhig und entspannt ist. Zum Strand ist eine Überführung vorhanden ( 5-6 min laufen ). In der Nähe ist auch ein kleiner Supermarkt Barrierefreiheit? Hotel Eingang hat ein Rampe die sehr steil ist jedoch machbar. Zimmer, Pool und Frühstück Buffet kann man mit einem Aufzug erreichen ohne Stufen somit Barrierefreih. Wir waren 11 Tage dort und waren sehr zufrieden und würden wieder kommen. Vielen dank für denn schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel und in Albanien.

Really nice. The staff was super helpful and everyone spoke enough English to help me. Breakfast was awesome, something for everyone. Really fresh local tomatoes and cucumbers, fresh cheeses and sausages. I really liked it. The staff made great cappuccino and americano to order. The pool was super nice and the food on offer was really quite good and reasonably priced. They even had some live music when we were there. There was a rooftop patio that probably had great views of the sunset but I never made it up to see. I’m glad I stayed there with the 10 min walk to the beach and was able to have some quiet.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und ruhig. Die Lage sehr schön und wir hatten viel Grün drumherum. Das Frühstück war reichlich und das Personal sehr freundlich, es könnte beim auffüllen, abräumen etc. etwas aufmerksamer sein. Zum Strand muss man über eine Brücke ca. 10 Minuten laufen. Aber alles gut machbar und im Endeffekt doch schöner, als direkt am Strand zu sein, da es ruhiger und grüner war und das Ambiente sehr schön. Der Pool hat eine gute Größe. Die Autos konnten in der Tiefgarage parken. Einen * Abzug gibt es, da es schön wäre, wenn mehr Speisen mittags und abends angeboten werden würden. Aber in Summe alles gut.

The hotel has definately exceeded our expectations. It's clean with spacious rooms and a very attentive and friendly service. Due to the hotels size it's not overcrowded with guests and therefore is quite and peaceful with enough sunbeds. The food at the restaurant was delicious, as well as the cocktails. They did have a Dj every evening, so we enjoyed a few parties. Location may not be the most convenient but it's a 3-5 min walk to the beach and other restaurants. Oh and they also have a furry family living outside by the pool being cute and of course protecting the guests by hunting the insects. Overall, we loved our stay here and recommend it to our friends and family!

Olivia’s is a fairly new hotel it is small but with great service and amenities. Our room was a very generous size and cleaned every day to a high standard. The staff are very helpful and all requests were dealt with promptly. The wait staff in the restaurant and pool side in particular were really great! Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and everything we ordered off the daytime menu was great. The beach is a short walk away with plenty of dining options if you don’t want to eat in hotel. Lovely pool area, a pool towel is €1 which might irritate some and seems a bit pointless for the hotels part. The town of Durres about 20 minutes away by bus or taxi and worth a visit but not too much to see there.

Hotellet er nyt og pænt , pænt poolområde, der dog ligger i skygge fra 15-16 tiden. Rengøring er god og personalet er generelt imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden er rimeligt god, men ærgerligt at spejlæggene er iskolde kl8 og at pålæg og ost står direkte i solen, uden køl, men at det store frugt udbud står på køl!?kaffen er god. værelset er til den lille side, altandøren kan ikke åbne helt pga. sengens placering.der er mulighed for at lave en kop kamille te, der er kogevandet, men ingen kopper eller sukker, kun tandglassene og to tebreve Det kan ikke anbefales at spise på hotellet - maden er ganske enkelt forfærdelig og tillige Meget dyrere end andre steder i området( 75kr for en kedelig pizza og 45 kr for en lokal øl) Da vi bookede hotellet fik vi det indtryk, fra billeder og beskrivelse at det lå ud til havet- det er ikke ganske korrekt.For at komme dertil skal man gå ca. 15 min. I rask gang over 8 vejbaner, hvoraf de 4 er motorvej, togskinner og trapper på både vej og rusten gangbro. Adgangsvejen til hotellet er ret stejl. I det hele taget er det ikke egnet for gangbesværede.Hotellets placering på den “forkerte” side af vejene, gør det besværligt at komme til og fra hotellet( det er bus på strandsiden) på denne side er der også både supermarked og gode spisesteder. Hele området og stranden er fyldt med skrald overalt og man skal lede længe efter en skraldespand

L’hotel è bellissimo e curato nei dettagli. Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti da due ragazzi gentilissimi che ci hanno mostrato il funzionamento dell’hotel. La camera era molto bella, moderna e pulita così come il bagno. Nonostante il periodo non fosse di alta stagione, e quindi l’hotel avesse pochi ospiti, la colazione a buffet è stata sempre ottimale con una vasta scelta di prodotti eccezionali. Torneremo sicuramente in estate per godere della piscina esterna e dei bellissimi lettini posti in giardino sotto a delle luci molto carine. Grazie!!!

This hotel is slightly off the main tourist route so nice and quiet, yet easy to walk into Durres over the bridge. Lovely spacious room, however there were 2 balconies only one of which was usable as the shutters were broken and we couldn't use the sofa in the suite as it had been made up into another bed and as it was broken we were unable to put it back into a sofa. the pool area was clean with plenty of sun loungers. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice.

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht und hatten dadurch eine gute Aussicht. Das Zimmer inkl. Bad war für 3 Personen wirklich groß und ruhig. Der Strand ist nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt und die Brücke über die Schnellstraße gar nicht so baufällig wie teilweise beschrieben. Leider ist die Dachterrasse im Sommer (aufgrund der Hitze) nur in den Abendstunden nutzbar. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der Fahrstuhl, da er vom Personal, zur Essensbeförderung und den Urlaubern gleichzeitig genutzt wird.

Olivia's Hill Resort is our last stop of our holidays in Albania and we wish we were here earlier! The hotel was only opened 3 months ago and it is in a great condition. Our room is in good size and bed is very comfy. It has a outdoor pool, rooftop bar and kids play area. There are plenty of sunloungers next to the pool and staff do table service for drinks and food. In the evening they have live music so very good atmosphere. A nice chat with the owner who is very friendly and passionate about the hotel and the business. A few things to improve: - Both food and drinks menus are quite limited and there are a few items unavailable on the menus e.g. mussels, mojito... - Breakfast buffet can be better presented - Staff are very good and work very hard but there is no manager presence. Manager could have helped during peak/busy period. I have seen other reviews complaining about the loud music and noise. It is an European style resort with a beautiful pool with loud music so if you are looking for a very quiet place this isn't for you. All in all, the hotel is not perfect but we think it deserve a five star for its facility, service and value. Thanks and we will definitely return!

Hotellet er nyt og pænt , pænt poolområde, der dog ligger i skygge fra 15-16 tiden. Rengøring er god og personalet er generelt imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden er rimeligt god, men ærgerligt at spejlæggene er iskolde kl8 og at pålæg og ost står direkte i solen, uden køl, men at det store frugt udbud står på køl!?kaffen er god. værelset er til den lille side, altandøren kan ikke åbne helt pga. sengens placering.der er mulighed for at lave en kop kamille te, der er kogevandet, men ingen kopper eller sukker, kun tandglassene og to tebreve Det kan ikke anbefales at spise på hotellet - maden er ganske enkelt forfærdelig og tillige Meget dyrere end andre steder i området( 75kr for en kedelig pizza og 45 kr for en lokal øl) Da vi bookede hotellet fik vi det indtryk, fra billeder og beskrivelse at det lå ud til havet- det er ikke ganske korrekt.For at komme dertil skal man gå ca. 15 min. Fantastiskt fint hotell en kort promenad från stranden. Tog cirka 5-10 minuter till närmaste market och stranden. Väldigt fräscht och allt känns nybyggt. Poolen med tillhörande terrass är otroligt vacker. På taket finns en bar med superfin utsikt. Havsutsikten från rummet var begränsas men den fanns helt klart där och var en trevlig detalj. Personalen var helt fantastisk och gjorde allt för att vi skulle ha en bra vistelse. Jag rekommenderar verkligen detta boende.

It was a nice 3 day stay, My girlfriend and I enjoyed the stay at Olivia’s Hill. Good service from the staff. The place was generally clean. There are also nice views and a nice pool area. A modest breakfast was included and any extras were quite affordable. I loved the Proximity to the Beach. However I did not like the two single mattresses on a double bed, I could feel the gap between and caused some discomfort.

We really can't fault the accomodation and staff were helpful, the gardens are kept immaculately, but the area between the end of the drive and the walk to the road to the beach are disappointing, with rubbish strewn in the road and surrounding areas.By no means is the hotel at fault here but the area does need a 'tidy up'. Food options could be more available with snacks at lunchtime limited, my wife had recently been diagnosed coeliac, but options open to her were limited.

Alles was wel oke, was niet luxe. Zwembad is mooi. Kamer was klein en het bed was doorgezakt. Ongeveer 5 minuten lopen van het strand. Ontbijt stelde niet veel voor. Wij moesten om 4:00 uur snachts weg, maar er was niemand om uit te checken

Great choice for the price. Traveled with a friend and my 12 year old son- we stayed for 3 nights- and at first I was bummed because there was no kettle for coffee/tea in the room and it was not clear on how close we were to the beach. Then after one day I realized we were only a 10-15 min walk to the beach/ rooftop bar was lovely and the view was beautiful/ staff was amazing and helped with any requests. 35 min to airport and about the same to Aquapark. Perfect way to end a couple week holiday. Completely recommend this hotel.

It is close—a 6-minute walk to one of the best beaches in Albania, a 20-minute drive to Durres, and a 35-minute drive to Tirana airport. There is excellent food around, and it is a peaceful and relaxing place—a mixture of city and coastal break. The staff at the hotel are fantastic. The reception staff are accommodating and communicate in both English and Albanian. I wish the hotel would have a spa (Sauna, massages) then there is nothing left. Recommend the hotel and place. 🇩🇪🇩🇪 Wir waren das erste Mal in Albanien. Hotel: Ist in einem sehr guten und neuwertigen Zustand. Zimmer waren sauber und gepflegt. Schöner Garten mit einem kleinen Kinderspielplatz. Es gibt eine Rooftop Bar in der 7 Etage. Pool: Liegt sehr gut in der Sonne, genung liegen waren vorhanden. Es gibt auch extra für Kinder am Pool ein Bereich was super auch für Erwachsene war damit sich auch hinsetzen kann. Essen: Das Frühstück Buffet war war sehr gut. Es gab Eier, Würstchen, Hähnchen, Tomaten, Gurken, Müsli, Nutella, Honig, Säfte und Wasser. Kaffe und Cappuccino waren auch da. Hotel Standort: Das Hotel liegt in der zweiten Reihe was denn Vorteil hat das es schön ruhig und entspannt ist. Zum Strand ist eine Überführung vorhanden ( 5-6 min laufen ). In der Nähe ist auch ein kleiner Supermarkt Barrierefreiheit? Hotel Eingang hat ein Rampe die sehr steil ist jedoch machbar. Zimmer, Pool und Frühstück Buffet kann man mit einem Aufzug erreichen ohne Stufen somit Barrierefreih. Wir waren 11 Tage dort und waren sehr zufrieden und würden wieder kommen. Vielen dank für denn schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel und in Albanien.

Only 30 minutes from the airport, the hotel is relatively new and located on the hillside. Although it is stated the beach is 150m away, it’s not a direct route. You have to walk alongside unpaved roads, across a high bridge and back down. It’s not for disabled or people with mobility issues. The hotel itself is lovely, big clean rooms and breakfast is a simple continental fayre. The staff are lovely and polite. The pool on-site is lovely and you could easily stay. Sea views are obstructed but nice.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und ruhig. Die Lage sehr schön und wir hatten viel Grün drumherum. Das Frühstück war reichlich und das Personal sehr freundlich, es könnte beim auffüllen, abräumen etc. etwas aufmerksamer sein. Zum Strand muss man über eine Brücke ca. 10 Minuten laufen. Aber alles gut machbar und im Endeffekt doch schöner, als direkt am Strand zu sein, da es ruhiger und grüner war und das Ambiente sehr schön. Der Pool hat eine gute Größe. Die Autos konnten in der Tiefgarage parken. Einen * Abzug gibt es, da es schön wäre, wenn mehr Speisen mittags und abends angeboten werden würden. Aber in Summe alles gut.

Hotellet var helt nytt, hyggelig personal. Det tok ca 10 minutter å gå til stranden. Deilig sandstrand, ingen steiner på bunnen. Betalte 50kr for de beste strandsengene inkludert parasoll og bord. Mange bra restauranter ved strandpromenaden.

The hotel, pool, food and staff are all excellent! Only negative is you have to cross a highway and walk about 10-15 min to get to the beach. Did not bother us but someone with mobility issues should not pick this hotel.

Olivia’s is a fairly new hotel it is small but with great service and amenities. Our room was a very generous size and cleaned every day to a high standard. The staff are very helpful and all requests were dealt with promptly. The wait staff in the restaurant and pool side in particular were really great! Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and everything we ordered off the daytime menu was great. The beach is a short walk away with plenty of dining options if you don’t want to eat in hotel. Lovely pool area, a pool towel is €1 which might irritate some and seems a bit pointless for the hotels part. The town of Durres about 20 minutes away by bus or taxi and worth a visit but not too much to see there.

Absolutely loved every part of our stay from the balcony in our room to the comfortable beds. The pool was outdoors and not temperature controlled but it was still very well kept and super clean. We still can not stop thinking about the AMAZING breakfast. It was included with our stay which isn't even mentioned here but it was a great added incentive and no other breakfasts have compared since our travels. I would go back to Albania just to stay here again, honestly. I have so much more to say because I really did love this place and the people and everything else it came with.

We really can't fault the accomodation and staff were helpful, the gardens are kept immaculately, but the area between the end of the drive and the walk to the road to the beach are disappointing, with rubbish strewn in the road and surrounding areas.By no means is the hotel at fault here but the area does need a 'tidy up'. Food options could be more available with snacks at lunchtime limited, my wife had recently been diagnosed coeliac, but options open to her were limited.

The Hotel is very nice and staff very accommodating, although the hotel needs to change their towels, they are paper thin, it is a shame for a nice hotel to have such worn out towels that don't even dry you up. Breakfast is not too bad but if you stay longer than two days, you get sick of lack of variety, very tiny portion of fruit, no yogurt, and all pancakes , fritters and waffles are always stale and not ate able really, I would improver breakfast and towels. other than that, staff are great and overall a nice hotel.

Really nice. The staff was super helpful and everyone spoke enough English to help me. Breakfast was awesome, something for everyone. Really fresh local tomatoes and cucumbers, fresh cheeses and sausages. I really liked it. The staff made great cappuccino and americano to order. The pool was super nice and the food on offer was really quite good and reasonably priced. They even had some live music when we were there. There was a rooftop patio that probably had great views of the sunset but I never made it up to see. I’m glad I stayed there with the 10 min walk to the beach and was able to have some quiet.

Alles was wel oke, was niet luxe. Zwembad is mooi. Kamer was klein en het bed was doorgezakt. Ongeveer 5 minuten lopen van het strand. Ontbijt stelde niet veel voor. Wij moesten om 4:00 uur snachts weg, maar er was niemand om uit te checken

Very happy with our stay at Olivias. Our child had a great time swimming in the pool, playing on the playground and in the garden and visiting the rabbits and peacocks. The balcony is spacious enough for four adults. The staff is amazing, very friendly. Unfortunately there is an issue with trash in Albania, so there is alot of trash in the streets, but that is not the hotels fault.

Very very clean, nice, welcoming place. Truly exceeded my expectations. Had a great time there with my wife. Had the nice breakfast buffet which was very nice. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and helped me without hesitation. It was my first time in Albania so they explained everything thoroughly and clearly.
