Property was clean and so was the room. Renovations were going on at floor 2, and the carpet looks really dirty though it needs replacing. I was given the wrong room number last night and had to seek help from the desk clerk who got distracted with a phone call while he was checking me in but he apologized. Overall nice place for a overnight stay amd breakfast was nice as well.

The TV in the first room we in did not work, however they did move us to another room. In the second room, the shower and toilet did not drain correctly. No soap or shampoo in bathroom. Ice machine on our floor was not working.

Visited Jackson Mississippi to see my nephew play football at Mississippi state and appreciated convenience/ cost of Wingate. Every worker was friendly and welcoming! Enjoyed ease to/ from airport. Hall carpets need replacing and ice machines on each floor should work.

We were greeted by a very courteous and kind person at front desk.Our room was a non smoking suite with 2 tvs and a kitchenette on the first floor which was assigned because I have pets.It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Close to plenty of restaurants and other stores. Clean place smells good throughout. The elevators are a little sketch but not too bad. They have a decent breakfast offered in the morning also. Very nice place to stay.

during bad weather, elevator went out & property tended to it quickly & was back working within an hour. small suggestion for improvements-- keep convenience store by front desk fully stocked & cups need to be restocked OFTEN at refreshments table. First time syaying here, Would definitely stay again.

Driving in, I wasn’t impressed as there was a family cooking on a portable grill in the parking lot at 10pm, but the hotel was nice, clean and renovated. We had a restful nights sleep and that is all that mattered. I would stay there again. We had a trailer we were pulling and need space to park it and know it was safe. This hotel checked the box!

Pool was dirty.

The property itself was in decent condition however the room was not clean and I would not return. There was hair on the bathroom counter, on the sheets and on the pillow cases. They did not finish making the bed and we had to ask for a blanket twice. There were concerning stains on the walls and the lamp shade. Overall a disappointing experience.

The hotel itself appeared to be clean and in good condition, with nice upgrades. However, our room was dirty upon checking in. There was sauce on the walls and the miniature fridge. There were no extra sheets for the pullout sofa bed, and there was no toilet paper. The floors and showers were also unclean. The beds appeared to be the only things that were clean and tidied prior to our arrival.

Room was clean, breakfast was great (much better than most continental breakfasts). Staff was accommodating and polite.

Room was not clean. Brown stain on mattress cover. Notified front desk who offered another room which was also dirty. Attempted to get refund and go to another hotel with no success, even after calling hotels.com.

Check in was quick and easy. When you walk towards the elevator, you can smell a foul odor and then it’s (odor) in the elevator. Elevator is dirty and the stainless steel is STAINED. Hotel room smelled like someone lived there with several pets. Room smelled terrible. Urine, poop, food, and whatever else has been on the floor. Hardwood floors and bathroom floor was sticky. Smoke detectors wires hanging. Holes in the wall near shower head. The hotel appears to be understaffed. I think housekeeping replenishes tissue, empties trash and changes bed linens, towels. I don’t think they mop or swiffer.

Bed bugs infested! When we checked out on Monday 10/28/24, we thought it might have been mosquitoes, but after arriving home and going to emergency care, it’s bed bugs! We reserved four rooms and two were infested with bed bugs, all rooms on the same floor. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

This hotel was awful. The unmistakable fragrance of marijuana permeated the entire building. Our room’s door was extremely difficult to open or close. The floors were slippery and the carpet had a dead roach in the middle of the floor. The air conditioning did work, the pillows were soft, but overall I will not ever return to this hotel nor advise others to do so. We got a cheaper rate at a hotel just about two miles north for a room that was pristine and very comfortable.

Several outlet covers missing in the room, door lock was broken on one room.

You could tell that the room was dated, the bathroom mirror looked like it was rotting due to water manage. The countertop in the bathroom had multiple large holes in the side like it was missing drawers or something. The door to my room did not work properly. The interior lock did not work at all, when using the key to get it it would blink indicating a low battery(according to the front desk person) but I would have to swipe the card 5-10 times for it to register to unlock and then the door itself would not open.

When I checked in at 10:30 pm, I was told they didn\'t have the room I booked through expedia, so I\'d be given a queen suite. They ended up charging me for the queen suite instead of the room I\'d booked (queen room). I was given a room that the smoke alarm battery was low and the alarm was chirping every 30 secs. Exhausted from being on the road for 8 hours, I returned to the front desk where the nice, but very unhelpful, man informed me he didn\'t know how to change it and he didn\'t know what batteries it took so he handed me a couple boxes of both AAA and AA batteries and told me to take what I needed. I asked if they had a step stool because the ceiling was high. He looked for one but he couldn\'t find one. Mind you, I\'m 5\'3" and he was at least 6\'. He told me he\'d switch rooms but they were all sold out for the night. He also told me it was ok to just disable the smoke alarm if I couldn\'t change the batteries. My 70 year old father climbed up on a desk to try to change the batteries. The smoke alarm was a commercial style, so instead of turning it off, we managed to set it off for about 5 seconds. I was sure we were about to have to evacuate the hotel when we got it to stop, but the chirping stayed. We couldn\'t get the smoke alarm cover off. I returned to the front desk, reluctantly, knowing the front desk guy was no help, and I was exhausted. Luckily there was a different lady down there, and she issued us a different room? An hour later, I was finally in a room.

Well, the room was very nice and the bathroom was well equipped, but there was no shower chair for the shower for the handicapped room that we requested. And the bed was a king horrible. It was like being in a taco shell. You sat down on it and you fell to the middle. My sister and I were sharing the room. And it was very uncomfortable. I'd have the roll up hill. Just to get turned Uber very, very bad and when you got app from the next morning, the sheets and covers kind of covered the mattress until the covers were pulled back and you could definitely see the big dip in it and that you know when you're paying good money for a room. The beds are the most important thing because you're there to sleep. I would not go back there again, unyes. I went in and checked the room first. We were complained to management about it, but they showed no interest. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff in there were really nice and helpbut I'm not sure that I would stay there again because of the bed.

I travel quite a lot and this is the best hotel I have found. I will always return when heading south through Jackson on my way to the Emerald Coast, Gulf Coast and New Orleans. This hotel offers great service with a super friendly staff that goes above and beyond in a nice clean well managed hotel in a great area! The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is hot with many options AND it is right off of I-55! I have stayed here twice now, both stays were exceptional! Not only that, but the price is right. Stay here, and look no further.

The people working a t this location were wonderful! They were really pleasant and helpful. The room was very nice. The bathroom was not so much. There was no water pressure inthe shower. The water sort of drizzled out, and the shower floor was not really clean. Because this was a handicapped room, Ii was surprised. I would stay here again, but I would check out the water problem as soon as I arrived.

Rooms showed signs of mold. Doors had to be forced shut.

The room needed an update. The rubber strip along the floor was peeling away from the wall. And a drawer in the dresser wouldn't close. The refrigerator was plugged in and I adjusted the temp but it never got cool for sodas.

The entire stay was nice. Better breakfast options would’ve been good. A price sheet for the store would be a recommendation as well. The black woman manager was super helpful however the Indian manager was not helpful and never rude.

I stay here often and as usual, I have no complaints. Checking in is always quick and easy, every room is always clean, and the staff is always friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed the staff. The beds and pillows were amazing! The floor was sticky and the front door could not open easily. Thank you.

The staff was courteous. Although the lobby became crowded, they remained calm. The hotel was clean and very accommodating.

Check in took so long. I waited over a hour. The line was long and it was only one person working with another person sitting behind the desk with feet kicked up doing nothing. The room had a foul smell and refrigerator had a ringing noise all night. As I was falling asleep, the man that checked me in, knocked on door and tried to just come into room on me but I had the inside latch on door so that stop it from opening all the way. I asked what was going on, then he said he needed my id. I said for what, and he said he thought room was empty and he checked me into a different room number. It was very scary, like he assumed I was alone cause I checked in by myself (husband waited in the truck) and just tried to come in the room on me. My husband really wanted to leave at that point cause that was very suspect. Because even if you did make a mistake in the computer system and gave me wrong room, why wasn’t it a customer trying to come in room? It was the man that did my check-in trying to come into room to on me.

The front staff was very helpful & friendly when we were going to have a late arrival. They made sure we were set and the morning breakfast was good. They had lots of options even when we came down a little before 9am there was still plenty of food. I wouls stay there again.

My daughter was entering the Navy and that was the purpose of the trip. The hotel was picked by the MEPS. We waited over two hours before we were able to check in because they were short staffed. The manager left knowing all of this was going on. The young man that took care of us did the best he could with the situation and several people complaining to him about the long wait times.

Was given the wrong room swiping my key card & unable to get inside, very unsafe doing that. The guy was sleep in the am when I was checking out. Unable to grab breakfast

Not all staff was friendly. At checkout, the lady never looked up at me or asked me how my stay was. In my opinion, that should be done. All she did was take the door keys and when I asked if she needed anything else from me, she just shook her head. There were no words at all.

The staff were great and very accommodating when we pointed out a problem with the toilet. The location is nice even with the busy streets around it.

I liked the location, the breakfast choices, the cleanliness, and the friendly staff. I did not like having to pay a $100 potential damage deposit for the each of the 2 rooms I booked ($200 total). Why not charge me if I damage the room since the credit card is on file? I guess it's in case the credit card is no good and customer is long gone? I really don't like being charged in advance and having to wait for MY money to be refunded to me.

This hotel was very nice, a bit of a struggle to get to during rush hour, but worth it once you navigate there.

The front desk staff was absolutely amazing. He was probably the nicest & most polite hotel management I've ever encountered. The breakfast area was dirty. The utensils were nasty. The milk was spoiled. The staff there didn't care.

WE TOOK A COLD WATER SHOWER BECAUSE THAT ROOM IT DOES NOT HAVE HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER AT FRONT DESK THEY SAID HAVING ISSUES WITH THE INTERNET AND TOOK 30 MINUTES TO HELP WITH MY RESERVATION BREAKFAST ROOM THE BREAKFAST TIME IS 7:00 to 9:00 WE GOT THERE AT 8:00 AT THE LADY REFUSES TO RESTOCK THE YOUGURT ALSO A SENIOR MAN ASKED TO THE LADY FOR A YOGURT AND SHE SAID THAT SHE DONT WANT TO RESTOCK AND I BELIEVE IF THE BREAKFAST ENDS UNTIL 9:00 SHE HAS TO SERVE MORE OF EVERYTHING UNTIL 9:00!!! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!! BUT FOR ME I DONT WANT TO BE IN PLACES LIKE THIS ONE. WE DESERVE A BETTER OPTION
