Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento

Quiet area to stay for a mini vacation, well priced and good facilities. Our room was as pictured online. Hard Rock Cafe food was excellent! The pool area was in great condition, clean and average size for a hotel, but they did not restock the towels enough, the poolside service took over an hour for a drink order. I would stay again, it is very close to the Toyota Amphitheatre, 30 minutes from Sacramento.

The shuttle to the concert was very convenient and efficient.

Facility doesn't have a "smoking only" section. People are smoking everywhere in the hotel

We came to Hard Rock on a Wednesday through Saturday. At one point we were going to order breakfast in our room but it was not available. Room service was not available until 11am on those days and only for lunch and dinner. The pool opens at 9am. Lap swim and enjoy an earlier swim. Trying to swim in a pool with a fountain going into it is interesting.I had to figure out the space in between the deck and where the water fell to swim so as not to get a face full of water. The fountain looks pretty but is not enjoyable to swim in. They are short of staff, so the pool area had not been cleaned or stocked with towels. I called the front desk for towels. Overall their staff is excellent, they just need to hire more people to keep up with everything. We enjoyed our stay, liked our room but do consider it expensive for what we got.

Pros: nice property, clean, nice ish room, nice shower, staff friendly, room convenient to main hotel lobby, close to Thunder Valley. Won $1200 there! Free gift of beach towel and tote, plenty of toiletries and free slippers. Cons: no live poker room, hot tub was luke warm, pool wasn’t heated even a little, leak somewhere from our shower or shower above us puddle of water on floor, bed not very comfortable, pillows cheap, not enough places to eat at casino, tried canceling second night 20 mins after cut off and they wouldn’t budge, not enough TP for two nights.

Nice modern clean hotel. Went to a concert on site and the venue was excellent. Being able to quickly leave the venue and go to our room was very convenient.

Most things are only open Friday Saturday and Sunday. No vallet service.The pool is very small. No wheel of fortune machines In the casino

It was quiet and easy parking and it was safe.

The hotel was pretty and had easy access to the concert we attended however the bath room needed wiping down it looked like there were spots that needed cleaning and the room was HOT we tried turning on the ac several times and it never turned on. our party had to shower in the morning because we woke up sticky from how hot the room was other than that everything was nice and convenient

The Casino was very nice and clean inside. The parking area was littered with trash and just plain dirty. It was easy to get in and out of concert venue. The room was very nice. Staff was great at hotel desk. We checked in on waitlist for restaurant to eat. No one ever text us back. Had to eat snacks we brought. Not happy.

We've stayed twice when attending concerts in the wonderful music venue. Really clean and comfortable rooms with fun decor. Nice quiet rooms. You'd never know there was a casino downstairs. Our main concern both times is the lack of breakfast options Tuesday through Friday. There's a little coffee counter with pastries and limited breakfast items early in the morning. The nearest town with a diner is about 20 minutes away in Olivehurst. Back to the hotel: the fine dining room is nice for dinner and wine. The weeknight buffet is just okay. Very friendly staff. We'll stay again next show!

The hotel is very nice and so convenient when you are seeing a concert on the property. I've stayed twice and both times it has been very clean, the employees are helpful and nice. I couldn't ask for anything more except for their rooms to be a little more affordable.

Hotel and room was excellent and clean and comfortable

Nice spot but not worth the nightly rate when there’s water stains, calcium buildup on the faucets and grimy buildup on the floor in the bathrooms. Makes the entire room feel unkept and dirty. The casino was nice and never felt overcrowded and they were constantly cleaning! Oh and try YouYu, you won’t be disappointed!

Shower has mildew, furniture showing age. 15 and 18 year olds trying to look at menus for dinner repeatedly were told to return to room, even when returning to room. Where creaped out by security. Got charged resort fee for pool that was closed.

Everything was new and clean. The whole vibe there was good. Staff were professional and friendly. I felt safe. Very happy with my stay there.

Nice Casino with great slots and restaurants and amenties. Staff was ok not the greatest experience. There was puke in a elevator , A/C did not work in my room and they provided a fan for the room and offered a 40$ food credit that I ended up not being given ( when I checked out they had no record of a 40$ credit ) . Played in their bingo tournament and they lost my reciept for when I won a game and it took over an hour to resolve the situiation but it did get fixed. Very expensive to stay there , over 300$ a night . I do like the casino though very nice and big, closest thing to a Vegas casino in California that I have seen.

Everything was really great all the staff were super friendly and helpful the room was quiet. Went to a show and the shuttle service was perfect. Only issue is the AC didn’t get cold enough so staff brought up a fan and it helped a lot.

The atmosphere was great, food was great, employees were all so kind and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean, fully stocked. My only complaint was the AC unit in the room. It was so stuffy- the fan doesn’t constantly run and it was so quiet in the room you could hear every noise around you. I prefer hotels that have an ac fan you can run to help cover the noise of staying in a hotel.

The bathroom are outstanding , duel shower heads and a sitting bench to relax. The bed very comfortable also. I’ll be going back very soon.

Loved everything except the see-through bathroom doors. They were weird and awkward

Comfortable bed and pillows. I didn’t like the construction obstruction outside (scaffold) my window.

The hotel is clean and comfy. That’s it about the positives. Very noisy as the room door did not block out any of the hallway noise at all. WiFi is a complete mess as they put every Chromcast/Apple TV/Smart Speaker on the guest network and it was a nightmare to navigate through the amount of devices. I was scared somebody was going to blast porn on my TV at 3 in the morning.

We could hear bass from loud music in our room for a while. This lasted for about an hour before it stopped. This was the only negative. The room had great accent lighting and an exceptional shower. It was a little further from the freeway than I was expecting, but not hard to find.

Rooms were quit and comfortable

We came to a concert for my son’s 13th birthday. The staff was extremely nice and gave him a hand written birthday card. Even in the casino the staff asked if I needed anything as I sat at a game. The room was clean and the food was good. I will definitely be back.

We needed a wine glass but there was none in the room. We call room service and requested one and the lady said she will send us but none. We even followed up to the one who brought our food up, she said she will ask someone in Hard Rock cafe but no one sent the wine glasses or not even a phone call that it was not coming up either. We ended drinking our wine with only the paper cups provided in our room. Disappointing.

I booked my hotel room almost 6 months in advance and had paid in full. When I got there, after driving 3 hrs, to see a concert that I paid good money for, the staff informed me that they didn’t have a room for me. I was informed that because I wasn’t there at 3 for checkin it was a first come first serve situation so I missed out on getting my room. RIDICULOUS!!!! My room was RESERVED and PAID for. I believe because it was such a huge night they sold my room to a walk-in for way more money and the staff probably pocketed the money. Both of the girls I dealt with were rude and told me I was s*** out of luck. That management is awful and pretty sure scammers. They weren’t helpful at all. Then to top it ALL off two other groups behind me were checked into their hotel rooms no problem, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!! I asked why they had rooms even though they just showed up after me, how is that A first come first serve basis? The management just avoided my question and would not answer. I was given a room at another hotel, that was 30 MINUTES away. So I had to drive my family there and back, which added an extra hour and a half into my driving and 2 hours of wasted time. I barely made it to the concert and we didn’t get dinner so my 9 yr old daughter was starved, and so were we. This was a terrible experience and I was told by the other hotel that they can’t do that. It’s not any kind of policy for ANY hotel. This company needs to reassess their management and employees.

The hotel/casino is impressive, but the staff is incredible. Every interaction that I had was genuinely friendly and the service was always prompt. I would highly, recommend the Hard Rock.

Absolutely infuriating experience. We arrived 30 minutes prior to check in. I was told our room was not ready (cleaned) and to come back in 30 minutes. I promptly went back to the desk as instructed & spoke with front desk staff. He told me my room was still not ready & would be another few hours. I expressed my frustration & that we needed our room to get ready for a concert AT the hotel. The fact that my room was not ready was unacceptable as I had three people that needed to shower & get ready. He offered me a $50 food credit, but one I could not use until I had a room number. After an hour I went back to the front desk & they told me they were turning guests away that booked through Expedia. Finally after 20 minutes of frustration, mostly because we had a show to get ready for & there were no hotels nearby & I pain over $400 for my room, they said they would make an exception and ended up giving me a room. We were late to the concert & unable to use the room food credit as there were no restaurants open for breakfast in the morning before checkout. I have used Expedia many times & this experience was so awful, I don’t see myself (and others I tell about my experience) ever using Expedia again.

Hotel room was fantastic when we eventually got it! Paid $460 for 1 night due to attending a gig. When we went to check in at 3.15pm they told us there were no rooms ready yet. Really unacceptable when you've paid such a lot of money. No compensation like drinks vouchers were offered, staff were really unaccommodating and quite rude. Went back at about 4.30 and they were fobbing us off again until I asked for compensation and a room magically became available. The room was a large king with a really nice bathroom. Great venue for the gig we went to.

I liked how modern and clean the rooms were. I booked two rooms, I loved that the hotel called me to ask my estimated arrival time and asked if I would like my rooms connected by an adjoining door. The gift shop sales clerks was so nice and supportive. I needed a razor and he helped me locate one in the store, asked me for my players card and offered me to use my casino rewards. I was on my cell phone not paying too much attention to the transaction and quickly realized he was looking out for me. Ultimately I was able to make the purchase using my reward points and no additional funds came out of my pocket. He also kindly provided me with a print out of my rewards status.

Everything was amazing except for the check in part. We booked two rooms for a concert event and wanted to stay next or close to each other and we did not get that request. Plus we did not get our rooms until after 5:30pm because the double queen beds were not ready for check in.

Matthew at check in went above to help. Our room was great and the casino and food were nice as well. The gas station at the end of the parking lot was very convenient.

I really appreciated Michael giving me such a nice room with a great view. Considering this hotel/casino/venue is in the middle of nowhere. In the morning the fog on settled on the ground with bright sunshine. It was a surreal view.

I like that the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel Sacramento is very close to the Toyota Amphitheatre.

We stayed here for the Luke Bryan concert and it made it so easy and convenient with the free shuttles and having its own gate to get in. We will definitely stay here again.

Far from the city! Didn’t have a non smoking section in the casino! You have to walk thru the Smokey casino to get to the live concert venue! The venue was great! The gift shop was awesome & staff! Rooms were nice, but the beds are really high off the floor!

The staff were fantastic and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. The only major downside to this hotel/casino is that it is in the middle of nowhere. The only thing remotely close to it is the amphitheater, which they did have a great shuttle to get to and from during shows.

We only stayed one night and chose it because it's so close to the Toyota Amphitheater and they had shuttle service with their own entry gate to the Amphitheater. The rooms are beautiful, bed was very comfortable. Planning our next trip their for our anniversary.

Didn't expect such a quality building. The room was great and the music venue was awesome. The food options were terrible as there were two restaurants (small) open with long lines and a sandwich shop with pre-made food. If I do make it back out I'll bring my own food.

You have to make Reservations for EVERY Restaurant..they say you don’t…but you have to wait 30-45 minutes for a table otherwise !, that’s Terrible if you here for a show .

My only complaint is no 24hr room service. Your hotel is leterally in teh middle of nowhere. Please offer 24hr room service!!!!!

We have been to this hotel a few times and it’s very clean and their entertainment venue is top of the line. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the dining options fall quite short. There’s huge lines at all the dining options so we ordered from the grind coffee shop and the sandwiches were barely edible. We watched Daniel Tosh (which was amazingly hilarious) and ordered room service after the show. The food was absolutely disgusting and they even missed an item we were charged for. A serious overhaul of the dining options and this hotel would be top notch.

Parking was fine. Hard to eat at all because of big demand and not enough tables. NO dinner, no breakfast...

I had a good time. It was unfortunate that some dining options were not available and only during weekend hours.
