This was a great hotel, lovely pool, fab dive centre I had a thorough PADI refresh course and 2 very enjoyable and safe dives. The garden room accommodation was spacious and quiet, the spa and restaurant are also very good. Would recommend staying here.

This is a great spot if you are diving, but it's also great if you are just looking to relax (or have non-diving friends/family). I came for the former, and while the area is best known for the Liberty, there are many other great sites to check out. The on-site dive shop is top notch, with great service and also great teaching. Rooms are spacious, the pool is nice, grounds are beautiful, there's an ocean view. What's not to love?

Beautiful hideaway for divers and more. Wonderful snorkeling right in front of hotel. Lovely pool overlooks ocean. Restaurant was delicious as well. Rooms are spacious with low-cost upgrades like ocean facing or courtyard with private pool. Highly recommended.

Amazing location with an excellent dive school! We stayed at an ocean view bungalow nr 6 which was absolutely fab. The staff were exceptionally friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. Another plus; the restaurant staff served us breakfast way past breakfast hours, just ask nicely ;)

We have enjoyed Bali Dive resort every year since 2014, excluding covid years, and have already booked next year. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DIVE TO ENJOY THIS PLACE. Beautiful well kept grounds and pool, a fantastic restaurant with a well trained staff, a great spa, all equal the perfect place. On a stay prior to covid, I mentioned to manager Nichole, with ageing making me less stable, I had become uncomfortable with the steep marble stairs leading from registration to the grounds as there was no handrail. When we arrived this March we were so very surprised she had installed beautiful stainless steel handrails on BOTH sides of the stairs. Now, can you be more accommodating than that??

Terrific place to stay if you want to vacation in Tulamben. boutique-y resort with great onsite spa and dive/snorkel trips on premise. Super friendly service and helped us set up day trips. Lovely pool and view of the ocean.

These property grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed some snacks and dinner with no complaints. Unfortunately, we had two orders of uncooked pancakes in the morning. We were diving that morning and had a second order of pancakes ordered but they were also uncooked. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would come back again.

Séjour très décevant au Bali Dive Resort. Le personnel était peu accueillant, souvent expéditif. Le seul moment où nous avons eu un vrai sourire, c’était pour nous proposer un taxi vers Amed, ce qui donnait l’impression d’être vus comme des clients de passage, sans réelle considération. Le dîner était correct, rien à redire. En revanche, le petit déjeuner était cher et très basique : formules limitées à leur minimum (œufs, bacon, un quart de tomate, oignons à peine cuits). Peu adapté au prix demandé. La chambre “premium” avec piscine partagée entre trois logements était en mauvais état : murs abîmés, draps douteux, salle de bain vétuste, climatisation partiellement défectueuse. Le ménage n’a pas été fait malgré notre demande explicite avant notre départ en plongée. Le lendemain, on nous a clairement fait comprendre qu’il fallait libérer la chambre dès l’arrivée du taxi. L’hôtel est isolé, loin d’Amed, sans chauffeur disponible en permanence. Il faut prévoir un scooter pour se déplacer. La vue sur la mer est agréable mais la plage est envahie de bateaux, donc peu propice à la baignade — uniquement adaptée à la plongée. En résumé : ambiance froide, prestations décevantes, localisation peu pratique. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolute Paradise – Can’t Wait to Return! Bali Dive Resort & Spa in Tulamben is pure magic. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome – their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made our stay truly special. Every meal we had here was delicious – we enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel every day, and each dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Our room had the most spectacular ocean view – waking up to the sight and sound of the waves was absolute bliss. The resort is wonderfully quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and reset. Snorkelling right from the beach was beautiful, with vibrant coral and plenty of marine life. The highlight of our trip was visiting the USAT Liberty shipwreck, which was nothing short of amazing. Even as snorkellers, it was an unforgettable experience – next time, I’ll definitely be learning to dive here! This place is a little slice of paradise, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, scenic, and welcoming, this is it. We will absolutely be back!

It was an incredible stay, the only reason I can't give it 5 is because our shower had small issues and there are areas on the hotel that need some love. On the other hand, the hotel and the staff will go out of their way to help you and Emily at the dive centre was incredible. Can't thank the team enough for an amazing stay.

Room was fine. Location was too far from the city (no fault to the hotel) and it was not possible to use either Grab or Gojek. Amazing location with an excellent dive school! We stayed at an ocean view bungalow nr 6 which was absolutely fab. The staff were exceptionally friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. Another plus; the restaurant staff served us breakfast way past breakfast hours, just ask nicely ;)

Our son did the Open water Padi course and enjoyed it so much, he did the Advanced as well. A big shout out to instructors Emilie & Damian. Many thanks to Nicole and all of the team at the resort who made our stay memorable and wanting to return. Safe, quiet, excellent staff, and beautiful location. Most guests are there to dive and snorkeling. We didn’t do either, instead we took advantage of the spa services, rented motorbike to visit center of Amed and Tulamben, and had a local fisherman take us on his boat (jukung) to watch sunset on the ocean. Food wise, no restaurants nearby, just local eateries (warung), so we mostly ate at the resort’s restaurant (good selections). Overall it’s a very relaxing stay for our family (4 nights).

Séjour très décevant au Bali Dive Resort. Le personnel était peu accueillant, souvent expéditif. Le seul moment où nous avons eu un vrai sourire, c’était pour nous proposer un taxi vers Amed, ce qui donnait l’impression d’être vus comme des clients de passage, sans réelle considération. Le dîner était correct, rien à redire. En revanche, le petit déjeuner était cher et très basique : formules limitées à leur minimum (œufs, bacon, un quart de tomate, oignons à peine cuits). La chambre “premium” avec piscine partagée entre trois logements était en mauvais état : murs abîmés, draps douteux, salle de bain vétuste, climatisation partiellement défectueuse. Le ménage n’a pas été fait malgré notre demande explicite avant notre départ en plongée. Le lendemain, on nous a clairement fait comprendre qu’il fallait libérer la chambre dès l’arrivée du taxi. L’hôtel est isolé, loin d’Amed, sans chauffeur disponible en permanence. Il faut prévoir un scooter pour se déplacer. La vue sur la mer est agréable mais la plage est envahie de bateaux, donc peu propice à la baignade — uniquement adaptée à la plongée. This is a great spot if you are diving, but it's also great if you are just looking to relax (or have non-diving friends/family). I came for the former, and while the area is best known for the Liberty, there are many other great sites to check out. The on-site dive shop is top notch, with great service and also great teaching. Rooms are spacious, the pool is nice, grounds are beautiful, there's an ocean view. What's not to love?

This was a great hotel, lovely pool, fab dive centre I had a thorough PADI refresh course and 2 very enjoyable and safe dives. The garden room accommodation was spacious and quiet, the spa and restaurant are also very good. Would recommend staying here.

These property grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed some snacks and dinner with no complaints. Unfortunately, we had two orders of uncooked pancakes in the morning. We were diving that morning and had a second order of pancakes ordered but they were also uncooked. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would come back again.
