Clean, comfortable, modern room with ample power and USB outlets. Lobby is well kept, and staff were all courteous. Building is old and lacks an elevator for the second floor. Also, one side entrance door had a long-time damaged lock and was not even latched. But renovations are in progress and I hope this will be corrected soon.

This is being remodeled, but very slowly. The sink had a crack. The curtains had see-through holes. The cups were so thin that one of them leaked water all over my items. The chairs in the breakfast room were threadbare. The carpet in the rooms was sticky, I chose this since it was a Wyndam, because I have always had good experiences with their rooms. On a good note, the pool and hot tub were really nice, and our beds had been recently replaced and were very comfortable. The typical included breakfast was available, but Richard also cooked eggs to order, which was nice (if you are there at least 20 minutes before closing.)

6 hours ago on Google Clean, comfortable, friendly front desk staff, and breakfast guy was awesome! He was SO nice to my son. Only negative things is no elevator, side door lock is broken so anyone can get in, and hot tub is broken. Washer is dryer is also big $3 a piece. Breakfast was huge- all types of eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bagels, danishes, cereal, yogurt, juice, waffle maker from 6-9 am.

Clean rooms and lobby. Breakfast was very good. Disappointed that the whirlpool/spa wasn't in operation, there was no elevator and my reservation was for a room on 2nd floor which was inconvenient. They did move me to the 1st floor which made up for it. The pool and fitness room were nice.

We were given a second floor room, only to discover after taking our large suitcases down the hallways that there was no elevator. We went back to the desk and they did find a first floor room for us. I suggest that you ask seniors if they can manage the 19 steps. The beds were comfortable.

I ending up not staying because how dirty are he room was. Th window you could not look out because of the damages, I found mold on the wall, the furniture is all chipped and the room was very humid. The hallways were full of lighting and hot. I am very disappointed in this hotel and how dirty and unsanitary they allow the rooms to be.

Chose this hotel based on many many good reviews. Staff were kind. Our experience with cleanliness was unfortunately bad. 1st room assignment conditions were deplorable. Obviously had not receved any attention after the previous checkout. Was disgusting. Desk assigned another room. Had a good night's rest.

Carpet needs a good washing. The bottom of my feet were black from getting up and going to the bathroom during the night. I could feel the dirt on my feet. You could smell the oder in the air after turning on the air conditioner. Also some worker used her pass key to try to enter my room after I was already in bed. If it wasn't for the manual latch, she would have just walked in. My body wants some fresh air after trying to sleep in that room. Not a good choice of hotels.

This place was pretty icky. When we walked into the room, we were hit with a pretty musty smell. It was overwhelming. I went to get ice and it was clear that the ice container in the room had not been washed in who knows how long. It was grimy and dusty and just gross. There were several areas in the bathroom where the paint was peeling and we were visited by a cockroach in the bathroom as well. We got there late and left as early as possible. Not much good to say about the facility, though the staff who checked us in was kind.

We were welcomed into our room by two cockroaches and a note reporting the television power did not work unless you pressed the button on the television instead of the remote (but the note reported the wrong button). These appear to be common issues at the hotel, as upon checkout they asked if we saw any cockroaches and if everything in the room worked. The room was very dirty! I was thankful for Hotels.com at least for charging less than the hotel itself charges per night if you book through them. I do not recommend staying here!

Room was very nice. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Desk clerk on arrival was friendly and welcoming. Outside impression is a little bit shabby. Halls are kind of dim. But for a one-night, on-the-road overnight, it's a great stay for an exception price.

Richard, the breakfast attendant was so sweet, helpful, and kind. He was the best part of the trip. Our hotel rooms were clean. Check in and out were easy. I personally did not think the beds or pillows were comfortable at all, but maybe it’s just personal preference.

Not sure if they were remodeling, had to access my room from the exterior side door, not through the lobby. Room was very warm. Air conditioner sounded like it was on its last leg. Room was adjacent to highway off ramp. Not as comfortable as the stay there 4 months previously.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. The room was very nice and spacious. The shower was perfect with lots of water pressure and adjustable jet choices. I felt like i was in a millionaires home shower. We loved the ice cold water and hot coffee in the lobby. The breakfast had a nice selection of items to choose from including busiest and gravy. The eggs and fresh waffles were delicious. The pool area is very nice, and the hot tub has powerful jets.There are vending machines for late night munchies, and speedway is also nearby as well as meijer and a small handful of restaurants. All the staff smiled and welcomed us, a special shout out to Debbie and Richard for going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Thank you.

This hotel was reasonably priced, clean, and at least during our stay quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with the added touch of Richard making made-to-order fresh eggs for those who wanted them. My wife accidentally left her purse behind and Nevil at the front desk very helpfully coordinated with me to ship it to our home. We'll definitely stay here again.

Debbie checked me in both quickly and with a good laugh, she really made my day. The room was spotless clean and vault like quiet. The furnishings were in good condition with a genuinely comfortable office chair at the desk. The room was very well lighted as well, a very pleasant and comfortable place to stay. The bed was excellent, the air conditioner quiet, the shower had good pressure and hot water. Although I didn't use them the pool & weight room looked to be well kept and very clean as did the entire building & grounds. Finally, what an excellent breakfast: Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy - all fresh, hot and tasty. This is a nice place to stay, the folks working there really put some effort in to make it that way.

Right off I-70 convenient, very clean, an older establishment but kept up. Quiet Fully equipped. Make a reservation early in the day, no elevators so if stairs are a problem you want the first floor. Close to restaurants. For the price no complaints.

Right off I-70 convenient, very clean, an older establishment but kept up. Quiet Fully equipped. Make a reservation early in the day, no elevators so if stairs are a problem you want the first floor. Close to restaurants. For the price no complaints.

Right off the Interstate Highway, so convenient. The check in was easy after booking online. Reception person was very friendly and efficient. Room was clean and spacious. Excellent value!

The hotel itself was very good. The rooms were very nice, breakfast was good. Close to Richmond downtown area and restaurants. Immediate area was under construction off I70 and some of the local area looked run down. Easy access to other parts of the county. Staff was easy to get along with and helpful hints of the area attractions.

We were very happy at the Baymont. Super convenient. Just behind Bob Evans Restaurant. Great value for the room. Super clean. Very comfortable. We stayed for 8 nights. Have Richard make your eggs in the morning. Such a wonderful host.

This is one of the better Wyndham hotels we have stayed at. The staff was great and the breakfast was one of the best. The breakfast staff even cooked our eggs the way we wanted them. We would definitely stay there again!!!

Although the hotel is a little dated, it was clean. It was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. The gentleman, Richard that was in charge of the breakfast was friendly and would fix you a fresh egg like you wanted. If I had any negative comment it would be that I thought our room had a slight cigarette smell and the chair needed cleaned. We would stay there again.

Breakfast was great—the man made us fresh eggs to order and they were wonderful! Beds were comfy, some of us were glad to use the treadmill. Super for the price! Would definitely recommend!

Great price because of my credit at Hotels .com. Breakfast was awesome the person that was working that morning had everything cleaned up and stocked.If you want something that not there just ask.He prepared eggs over easy for a couple would wanted that.Nice location, walkable distance to Bob Evans, convenient for access to the interstate with 3 gas stations within a block.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. The room was very nice and spacious. The shower was perfect with lots of water pressure and adjustable jet choices. I felt like i was in a millionaires home shower. We loved the ice cold water and hot coffee in the lobby. The breakfast had a nice selection of items to choose from including busiest and gravy. The eggs and fresh waffles were delicious. The pool area is very nice, and the hot tub has powerful jets.There are vending machines for late night munchies, and speedway is also nearby as well as meijer and a small handful of restaurants. All the staff smiled and welcomed us, a special shout out to Debbie and Richard for going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Thank you.

I was in town for the Winchester 400 didn't get to the hotel until late at night. The staff was very nice and got me checked in with ease! The room was super clean. Sunday morning breakfast hit the spot before driving home! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Overall the stay was fine. The staff were incredibly friendly when you could find them. If you like firm beds, this is the place for you. It's an older hotel, and it shows. The bathroom is small and could use more ventilation. After you take a shower, there will be a condensation layer on the floor and countertops for hours. For cleanliness, I would give it a 7/10... not filthy, but could use a better detailed eye, especially in the bathroom. There is a microwave and mini-fridge in the room, but no coffee maker. The lobby does have coffee, tea, and water 24 hours a day though. The breakfast is the generic offering as most other hotels. We stayed two nights and there was no room service during our stay. For clean towels, we had to exchange them with our used towels. There is no elevator. So if you are unable to walk up stairs, ask for a first-floor room. If you need an inexpensive hotel for a quick overnight stay, this would work for you.
