Older property but seems to have a lot of recent improvements, like nice bed linens and towels. Convenient location for the world lumberjack championships. Nice sauna and pool, and we enjoyed the "backyard" area where they kept a bonfire going and had chairs, hammocks, bean bags, etc. Would stay again.

Very disappointed in the management of the property. Booked the property for the pool and was informed when checking in that the pool was working. Staid one night and found another property for the 2nd night. Management chose not to respond to my email and refused to give a refund for the 2nd night when contacted by Expedia.

Clean room be needs updating. Internet would not work and no cell signal inside due to metal in the building leaving us to stand in the parking lot to talk on the phone or get on the internet. Everything is old and run down from the sauna to the pool. Tv has spectrum but so slow to change channels we gave up on it. Parking lot floods when it rains. Receptionist is very nice.

Was a beautiful room with a big tub. Didn't give it 5 stars for grounds because it is being renovated and that was fine. Pool was excellent and it was close to town. Would definitely stay there again.

For the price, this place simply cannot be beat. My only real gripe is that when the listing says “free WiFi”, that didn’t mean the WiFi would work. And when I called to ask staff about it all I got was the assumption that since there was so many people there wouldn’t be internet. No offer to discount or refund. No offer to help with an explanation beyond that. But again, and I cannot say this enough, for the money this place was awesome. Ice cold AC, quick drive to town, pool, sauna and easy parking. I do still highly recommend, just come prepared.

Very quaint hotel. We had one of their remodeled 2 queen beds room that smelled like fresh paint. :o) Very comfortable, clean room. Pool area was nice and had cedar wood walls that smelled refreshing like the outdoors. No strong chlorine smell. Front desk staff were helpful & very kind. Will definitely come back next time we're up North.

This is a very cozy place to stay! They are in the middle of renovating, our room was probably half done, the place is really shaping up. Our bed was very comfortable, the room was very quiet, and the AC made for perfect sleeping temperature. The young woman working the front desk was super nice and accommodating. I'd love to come back when the sauna is working and the pool is a little cleaner!

The rooms were clean and beds were good. The pool was warm and the kids were enjoying it. The common areas/hallways need some TLC. I think they are doing the best they can. We would stay again.

Outside our door was either dog or somekind of animal's poop.The outside door also had no bottom weather stripping thus several spiders inside. The floors inside were some kind of vinyl and were gritty to walk on. Bed matress was comfy but sqeaked when rolling over. No sugar or creamer in the container. This is the first time I've ever wrote a bad review.

This property is a motel not an Inn. It is not well kept. The door had a gap at the bottom that let in bugs and anything else that wants to come in. The bathtub was disgusting. The air conditioning is a window model that could not keep up with the humidity. Overall, I would not recommend a stay here.

This property is under new management. The siding & roof is brand new. They are working on the rest. A lot of work to do yet but our room was clean, beds were comfortable. All we needed for tbe night.

Very clean facility, nicely remodeled, quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful, a malfunctioning TV remote was replaced within minutes. Very comfy mattress, clean room, huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub and immediate hot water. parking a few steps away, not in front of room. Many eateries within 1-2 miles. Only downside: no breakfast but as mentioned many eateries for every taste within 1-2 miles

When we arrived at our hotel room, our air conditioner was running too cool our room, it was a warm fall day, but tends to get very chilly at night. We turned off our air conditioner, but we’re not able to turn on the heat as it is regulated through the office. It was freezing cold in our room for the entire night, unfortunately, this was not comfortable for sleeping and nobody in our party slept very well because of this.

The room was nice and big. The place was quiet which we appreciated. We had to check in late and left early, therefore communication with front desk was simple. The hotel however is stuck in a time warp and brought back memories of our childhood in the 1990s.

Brief stay before a race. Obvious effort on the owners to improve the place. VERY clean room! Great towels and linens made is feel comfortable. Staff accomodated our very late check in, whixh meant a lot to us. Would stay here again for biking and races.

We loved staying at the Lumberjack Inn this past weekend. It was very convenient to area attractions. The property was quiet and clean. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on and the towels were fluffy and large. We also had a great time in the pool and sauna (renovation work is being done on the hot tub). It's important to point out that this is a property that is clearly under renovation. Rehabilitation work is actively being done, but we had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were a delight to talk to and were very attentive. It is clear that they have a vision for the property and are working hard to get there. In the meantime, it's a great place to stay and we can't wait to see the continued progress and end result!

Check in was smooth, that was the last time we had any service, no daily or second day or third day or 4th day room service, no clean towels any day same towels for the duration of our stay 4 nights. For the rate charged per night very expensive. No rubbish service. It was like covid all over again

The room was very old and musty. The water was rusty. It tasted and smelled terrible. Room appeared clean. Front desk people were always gone and when we called the phone number given us for assisrance, we always got voicemail. One of the doors on our 4 wheeler was stolen overnight, poor security there. We would never stay there again.

The staff was very nice. But…..the place is very dated. The room was big and the beds were comfortable and clean. They had NO internet connection whatsoever, television’s had no internet or cable working. So no television. Manger says that the internet company was coming out next week sometime. They weren’t sure. They advertised that they had breakfast. Well that was a package of instant oatmeal. But no bowls or spoons to eat it with. The vending machines were not filled. Management says the guy did come out yet. The pool the water was somewhat clean. The bottom had a thin layer of sand in it. This hotel is about a mile from town no place within walking distance for coffee or food. As for sitting on the balcony of our room was unsafe. Railing were about to come off. I feel soooo over charged for what was advertised and what we got.

Was easy to get to. They called to make sure I was still on my way and were there when I showed up to get me to the room. Nice place near the area I was fishing so made for a good spot to stay. Would stay there again!

The staff was very nice. But…..the place is very dated. The room was big and the beds were comfortable and clean. They had NO internet connection whatsoever, television’s had no internet or cable working. So no television. Manger says that the internet company was coming out next week sometime. They weren’t sure. They advertised that they had breakfast. Well that was a package of instant oatmeal. But no bowls or spoons to eat it with. The vending machines were not filled. Management says the guy did come out yet. The pool the water was somewhat clean. The bottom had a thin layer of sand in it. This hotel is about a mile from town no place within walking distance for coffee or food. As for sitting on the balcony of our room was unsafe. Railing were about to come off. I feel soooo over charged for what was advertised and what we got.

Very clean facility, nicely remodeled, quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful, a malfunctioning TV remote was replaced within minutes. Very comfy mattress, clean room, huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub and immediate hot water. parking a few steps away, not in front of room. Many eateries within 1-2 miles. Only downside: no breakfast but as mentioned many eateries for every taste within 1-2 miles

I gave it a 3 because the maintenance person tried to be helpful even though there was a limit on resources. Most of the rooms had sustained water damage so I was the only guest in street side of the building so the best part was how quiet it was day and night. Had the place to myself, even the office. The cell coverage and WiFi did not reach into the room.

Should update the pictures. The reason we booked is it showed a hot tub. No longer have one. Pool was super cold. Water out from the tub / shower was orange and brown. For quite some time. Water pressure real low at times so the shower wouldn't work to route the water to. No TV service at all. But the bed was really comfy! I understand things are in progress and being updated. Just really wish there was a hot tub in the pool area like the pics show.
