Water pressure and hot water were lacking. Tub in the cabin would take 2 hours to fill. Not enough hot water. Misleading. The hot tub in the pool house wasn’t working. The grounds were not kept up. Outside fire pit has dirty bird poop covered chairs and trash in the fire pit. Weeds abundant.

Fell in love with the place. The views, the pool, the hot tub, the playground, the fire pits and grills. We can’t wait to come back. We’re already talking about planning our next trip. The owners are some of the nicest, hardest working people I’ve ever met. Shoutout to Evan for zooming around working hard.

Using the hotel app I reserved a suite because there was two beds needed. What I got was a go back to the 70s honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi tub enclosed in a window glass the was literally in the middle of the room next to the bed. The toilet was separate. There was an old sofa that I assume was a pull out. This was NOT the picture I saw on the app when I reserved it. After much discussion we were re-accommodated in a tiny to bed mini room. Very rustic with only a small fridge and a table. The bathroom had a barn style sliding door that was literally next to the beds. The food at the restaurant was better than average for nice places in the city. Smoked prime rib is a winner. We had to ask for everything that the offered, bbq for cooking, wood for the fire pit and they sold ice by the bag. None available just for guests.

Leider gab es keine Info das es keinen Badesteg gibt, kein Axt werfen oder Bogen Spielen, das Restaurant nur wenige Tage auf und leider kaum einer vor Ort vormittags. Nichts für Kinder außer der Pool .. sehr traurig alles , Fotos stimmen alle nicht mehr . Leider keine Reaktion seitens Expedia. So hätte ich es nicht gebucht !

The most friendly staff I think that I have ever encountered! Had my birthday party there. Our deluxe cabin was great and the food was delicious. Great location too, will probably become an annual event.

Property was taken care of but could use a little more attention. They have a nice setting on the river and a pool but property is slightly neglected. We had to ask for clean sheets on our bed since the ones we had were stained and had years. Staff was good to come and take care of it for us. No staff on site after maids left. Four rental at the resort and that included us. Property has a lot to offer but needs good management to make it work.

We absolutely love this place. It is a hidden gem and we wish we had known about it decades earlier. We could not get over how beautiful this property is, how millions of stars light up the sky at night, how the Tittabawassee River looks like a mirror. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully Designed and very, very clean. The staff was wonderful and the food in the restaurant was terrific. This is a perfect place for a family vacation, with lots of fun things to do outdoors. It also would be a great place to go to just get away from it all. I highly recommend this place and I cannot wait to come back.

We stayed there Saturday night because we were in the area for softball tournament. We didn’t get a lot of time to spend at the cabin, but it was super clean! What a hidden gem for a place to stay. Definitely would stay there again!

We stayed in Cabin 2 - It was for the most part clean. It definitely could have had the cobwebs cleaned from the doorways and parts of the ceiling. - If you want to get away to “unplug” then this is the cabin for you! Even though they had 3 different options for WiFi connectivity, none of them were stable enough to stay connected! -Our in and out timing didn’t allow for us to inform that the hot water did not work nor was there gas getting to the fireplace! Thankfully, there was a mini split so we did have a heat source! Staff upon arrival were very friendly! We did not use the pool or hot tub.

We had no hot water at all and could not shower all weekend. The sheets had stains on them and the room had a smell to it so we had to keep the windows open for air. We tried to call the number given to us if we needed anything after hrs but we had no service so we could nit make any calls. During the day when it was open we had to leave for softball tournament and by the time we got back to try to speak to someone abiut the lack of hot water no one was there. The restaurant on site also had nothing on the menue we wanted (apparently they just ooened the week before and were still getting food delivered) but we ended up having to ask what do yiu have that we can order.

We stayed in a one-bedroom cabin and were only supposed to stay one night. Upon entering our cabin, I immediately went to the front desk to extend. They're so cute and cozy. Not to mention - the restaurant on site is amazing!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend! We had such a fantastic experience staying here! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and cozy — everything we were hoping for and more. From the moment we arrived, the owner Scott made us feel so welcome, and his staff were some of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever encountered. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the attention to detail in the rooms made it feel like a home away from home. You can really tell they care about their guests. We’ll definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit. If you're thinking about booking — do it. You won’t regret it!

Went to eat at restaurant. Everything we ordered wasnr available. The lady who spik6e with us about the inconveniences was very nice tho. We saw on the website there were atvs to rent. We inquired about these at check in desk, also if we were allowed to light firewirjs off. The lady responded with "im not sure, nobody's ever asked let me find out and call you. I never got that call. I never was instructed on check out instructions. When i went to leave the office was closed i just left keys in room, unable to lock door when leaving, which i felt was unsafe. Overall not happy with this stay and i would nor recommend to anyone.

The property seem to have a managme nt issue or the lack of management. Office was closed ending up calling someone not on site. Then had to text my information to someone i had no idea who they were. Waited in aparking lot for almost 1 hour before a cleaning lady let me in.

Fell in love with the place. The views, the pool, the hot tub, the playground, the fire pits and grills. We can’t wait to come back. We’re already talking about planning our next trip. The owners are some of the nicest, hardest working people I’ve ever met. Shoutout to Evan for zooming around working hard.

Beautiful Grounds. Quiet Resort nestled on gorgeous grounds. Yet close to local towns for shopping, hiking, fishing, off-roading, you name it, it's pretty doable around the area. I have been all over and in MI, this is by far my favorite place. You name it,

Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful area. The few staff that were there were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again for a night of quiet and solitude, but would bring a few thing with me for more comfort. A few things that was missing though. I paid for cabin with gas fireplace and it didn't work and no one was on property to deal with it. There was no blankets other than thin bedspread which meant I had to turn up the heat and would have rather had a real blanket. And there was no real garbage can other than a very tiny one in bathroom. If you need utensils or anything like that you have to get it from the restaurant before it closes.

The most friendly staff I think that I have ever encountered! Had my birthday party there. Our deluxe cabin was great and the food was delicious. Great location too, will probably become an annual event.

Amazing. New updates in cabins. Cozy. Kayaking was great. Pool and whirlpool was so relaxing and fun. I will be returning back soon.

We absolutely love this place. It is a hidden gem and we wish we had known about it decades earlier. We could not get over how beautiful this property is, how millions of stars light up the sky at night, how the Tittabawassee River looks like a mirror. The rooms are comfortable, beautifully Designed and very, very clean. The staff was wonderful and the food in the restaurant was terrific. This is a perfect place for a family vacation, with lots of fun things to do outdoors. It also would be a great place to go to just get away from it all. I highly recommend this place and I cannot wait to come back.

Went to eat at restaurant. Everything we ordered wasnr available. The lady who spik6e with us about the inconveniences was very nice tho. We saw on the website there were atvs to rent. We inquired about these at check in desk, also if we were allowed to light firewirjs off. The lady responded with "im not sure, nobody's ever asked let me find out and call you. I never got that call. I never was instructed on check out instructions. When i went to leave the office was closed i just left keys in room, unable to lock door when leaving, which i felt was unsafe. Overall not happy with this stay and i would nor recommend to anyone.

Using the hotel app I reserved a suite because there was two beds needed. What I got was a go back to the 70s honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi tub enclosed in a window glass the was literally in the middle of the room next to the bed. The toilet was separate. There was an old sofa that I assume was a pull out. This was NOT the picture I saw on the app when I reserved it. After much discussion we were re-accommodated in a tiny to bed mini room. Very rustic with only a small fridge and a table. The bathroom had a barn style sliding door that was literally next to the beds. The food at the restaurant was better than average for nice places in the city. Smoked prime rib is a winner. We had to ask for everything that the offered, bbq for cooking, wood for the fire pit and they sold ice by the bag. None available just for guests.

We stayed in a one-bedroom cabin and were only supposed to stay one night. Upon entering our cabin, I immediately went to the front desk to extend. They're so cute and cozy. Not to mention - the restaurant on site is amazing!

Leider gab es keine Info das es keinen Badesteg gibt, kein Axt werfen oder Bogen Spielen, das Restaurant nur wenige Tage auf und leider kaum einer vor Ort vormittags. Nichts für Kinder außer der Pool .. sehr traurig alles , Fotos stimmen alle nicht mehr . Leider keine Reaktion seitens Expedia. So hätte ich es nicht gebucht !

We had no hot water at all and could not shower all weekend. The sheets had stains on them and the room had a smell to it so we had to keep the windows open for air. We tried to call the number given to us if we needed anything after hrs but we had no service so we could nit make any calls. During the day when it was open we had to leave for softball tournament and by the time we got back to try to speak to someone abiut the lack of hot water no one was there. The restaurant on site also had nothing on the menue we wanted (apparently they just ooened the week before and were still getting food delivered) but we ended up having to ask what do yiu have that we can order.

Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend! We had such a fantastic experience staying here! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and cozy — everything we were hoping for and more. From the moment we arrived, the owner Scott made us feel so welcome, and his staff were some of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever encountered. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the attention to detail in the rooms made it feel like a home away from home. You can really tell they care about their guests. We’ll definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit. If you're thinking about booking — do it. You won’t regret it!

The place overall was fine. Nothing fantastic, nothing bad. The TV was tiny and we wanted to watch football so that wasn’t ideal, and half of the lights in the cottage didn’t work so it was dark kinda dark/dingy. However, it was very clean, water pressure was great, and these was plenty of room for the 3 of us. There is a restaurant on site, but we didn’t get to try it. Anything else food wise was a bit of hike. Gladwin or West Branch. No stove, but the microwave and mini fridge were helpful. We were up there for a golf outing so we didn’t really get much use out of the amenities. I would come back and stay again all things considered.
