The place is ok. But you get alot. Our room had alot for the money. We got one bedroom and living room with kitchen. Two bathrroms and two fireplace. Pool was closed. But the spa was open. Lobby has a pooltable. People were great. Its does not have a elevator. We were on the 3rd floor. Hotel room have has some remodeling. Overall good hotel for the money

Excellent Place, will be our favorite spot in Big Bear, great location, clean, with all the necessary items to cook, we loved the pool, spa and the grill. As a travel agency I will recommend this place to my passengers for sure !!!

Overall, we were very comfortable in our unit which was like an apartment and we had 2 bathrooms- which we loved. King bed was very comfortable. Kitchen equipped. 2 beautiful stone fireplaces. The jaccuzi was nice - clean and well maintained. The swimming pool was small- not a lap pool, but nice for kids. The only not so comfortable issue was the walk up 2 flights of stairs if your room is on the 3rd floor (no elevator).

The staff was very professional and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are really large and the kitchen are fully equipped. The facility is a little dated, but really clean. Most parking spots are under a carport which is very useful when it snows. I will not hesitate to come back is staying in Big bear again.

Excellent experience for 1 night stay with my two kids. Room very spacious and clean , pool small but quaint , kids loved it. Staff very friendly and informative. I will definitely come back for a second visit .

This was at least our third, maybe our fourth stay at Snow Lake Lodge. Snow Lake has become my teenage-daughter and my go-to spot in Big Bear. In an era where every place is a bait and switch of posted rates compared to what you end up paying - Snow Lake is beacon of travel value! And to keep a teenage daughter happy is a huge win! :) Rooms are spacious, clean, and incredibly functional. Importantly, the kitchens are perfect, everything you need - which saves a ton in food costs and is much more fun eating at home watching movies vs. waiting in line for a marginal meal in town. We cooked steaks on the Weber grills downstairs Location - walk to coffee shops, a few restaurants, and only 1 mile to the Vons. I timed it a 3 minute drive to Snow summit drop off area. Hot tub - one of the best, easy to access from any room, hot, always working, and gets the late afternoon sun - beautiful through the pine trees. Staff - a great location only works if the people are great - Snow Lake Lodge staff are awesome - Called me the day before to check on arrival time and familiarity with property - super easy check in. And they were busier than expected our weekend - they did great flexing to address so many people. thank you Snow Lake Lodge team - will see you again soon.

Condo has many amenities that were helpful, including kitchen with plates and utensils, Bbq, hot tub, pool table, DVDs, fireplaces, and full size refrigerator. Perfect for an extended stay although some finishes are dated, it was a great value and staff was super friendly and accommodating.

This place was super clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and communicative. They even had a nice happy hour with free rootbeer floats. The room was spacious and very well equipped. A fantastic value. Will definitely stay there again.

I was very impressed with this place!! It's simple, yet beautiful. The rooms are more like little apartments. We have stayed in a LOT of hotel rooms. This place is the only 1 that was spotless. Staff is amazing. Hot tub was so nice! I can't wait to stay again!!

I stayed at the Snow Lake Lodge. In the past, I had some great experiences there. This time, I found the staff attentive and friendly, and the property very clean and well-maintained. My only issue is that my mattress was terrible. I was in room 201, and I could feel the springs on the mattress. It is clear it needs to be replaced. It was bad enough that my girlfriend and I left early the last day to go home and sleep in our own bed. But for this fixable issue, it would be a 5 star stay!

The room was great because of the size and completeness of amenities not to mention it’s affordability. It is basically a large one bedroom condo with a very large bedroom, two fireplaces, one in the bedroom, one in the living room, 2 large tv’s, two full bathrooms, a full sized, fully stocked kitchen with all amenities and appliances, a dining table with 4 chairs even a large foyer area that in the winter would be great for storing all the wet snow gear. It may be a bit granny styled but it’s the feeling of a winter snow cabin.

Stay was great. Check in easy, very friendly people there at front desk! My ONLY problem was with the sofa bed. Mattress is horrible and needs to be replaced with something better. My kids couldn’t even sleep on it!

We had the best experience staying here!. Every staff member we passed was pleasant, made a point of saying hello. we ask a question one time they offered to come to our room and show us what to do. The communication was amazing and the accommodations were perfect. We can’t wait to come back here again.

Great spot with large bedroom, two baths, full kitchen and living room. Quite surprised by the size. Check-in was ok, but office hours until 7pm was a pain. Had to call in and get key via lockbox for check in after 7pm.

The TV didnt work. The heater shut off by itself while I was sleeping. Checkin was delayed. The hot water stopped while taking a shower. Probably will not stay here again. But the room was very clean. I left a nice tip for the cleaning crew. Not their fault for all of the things not working

The checkin lady never texted me back for when the room was ready. Tv did not work. Heater shut off while sleeping. Hot water shut off mid way into the shower.

Clean property with roomy bedroom and living area that both had fire places. It had a fully equipped kitchen where we made our Easter dinner. The property is centrally located between the village and ski resorts.

The unit had a very nice layout. For a hotel room, It felt like an ideal small 1 person apartment. Very good location not far from the resort and right off the main boulevard. Easy parking was nice.

Excellent Place, will be our favorite spot in Big Bear, great location, clean, with all the necessary items to cook, we loved the pool, spa and the grill. As a travel agency I will recommend this place to my passengers for sure !!!

This place was super clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and communicative. They even had a nice happy hour with free rootbeer floats. The room was spacious and very well equipped. A fantastic value. Will definitely stay there again.

I was so surprised how spacious the hotel was. We had kitchen table, we can cook plus nice view from our room. We love it so much and would definitely stay here again soon.

I like this property because the rooms are like small apartments and they have 2 bathrooms. I do wish they would invest in better comforters for both the bed and pull out couch. They used to offer breakfast but not since covid. Its been 2 years so its time to bring it back. Its in a good location not too far from big bear village and restaurants. Staff is friendly especially the lady with short dark hair i wish i remembered her name shes super sweet and helpful.

Love the layout especially the one we had with the bar rather than dining table. Great for families, we'll definitely be back again and this was our 2nd time here. I actually dropped and picked up the family at Snow Summit and walked back and forth. About 3/4 mile to the parking lot straight up Thrush. Big movie selection, jacuzzi was nice, walked over to Hacienda for dinner one night. Great spot to stay!

Staff were friendly and check in was easy. The rooms are great, way better than a typical hotel where it’s set up like a studio. Ours had a separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms plus a full kitchen. Also walking distance to convenient stores and eateries.

Lovely place to stay with close proximity to the slopes and main shopping/dining. Everything is provided in the kitchenette. Great to have 2 bathrooms. Overall a great short stay. Would be nice if we got extra grind regular coffees per night without extra charge. However, they do have a bunch of instant coffees.

Older property but kept in good condition. Very personable and helpful. Arrived on Friday at 4pm just in time for complimentary popcorn in the lobby. Only problem was the room above us on the 3rd floor was extremely active from 10pm till almost midnight. Sounded like lots of running or jumping around so perhaps not well insulated between floors. Other than feeling like I was in a lodge from the 1970s, it was a nice overnight stay. I think if returning to Big Bear Lake again, we would choose a lodging option with a view of lake or mountains. We were able to enjoy complimentary donuts in the lobby after an early morning walk to Grizzy Manor for breakfast.

87 degrees in the room when I checked it. Checkout time was 11am and they called at 1101am to say that I would be charged $250 if I don't live before 1130am (platinum hotel member, supposed to have a"late checkout at noon but they did not care). The 2 receptionists were impolite and had bad education. Room so-so, parking full after 10pm.

Rooms were clean and the kitchen had all the basics for cooking eating etc. staff were nice. Didn’t use fireplace since summer. Both rooms had fans, just wished they both were on and drapes closed to make rooms cooler since no AC. Wish they had a pulley system to at least have your items get up to the upper floor’s since no elevator. Deco was nice, all cabinets could use a redo paint job to make it more modern feel. Sleeper couch and chair very comfortable! didn’t use couch as a sleeper. Bed comfortable. But you feel every moment. TV in living room needs to be lowered or placed elsewhere!! Got a neck pain looking upwards always and tiring on the eyes as well looking up so much. No balcony. Luckily we’re at the end & on 3rd floor. So it was fairly quiet. Except bedroom window opens into the walkway to other rooms, which isn’t private and dangerous walking into it. Which rooms were flipped. Good location, fairly close to various things but not walkable.
