Our Superior suite was spacious, with a separate living room area, fridge, a sink, a microwave and a coffee station. The suite had 2 TVs, ample closet room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The view out of the window was amazing! The hotel has a nice fitness center with enough options, a pool, sauna and a hot tub, all of which we enjoyed. Complementary coffee machine was a nice touch. We enjoyed brewed cappuccino, lattes, hot chocolate during our stay.

Weight room is really good with an excellent variety of free weights, quality treadmills and other equipment. Clean hot tub and pool. Love the rooms with the extra sofa bed/ seating area with a fridge that has a separate freezer. Staff are nice always willing to give you anything extra you may need another one of like a coffee pod etc.

Kind staff, comfy rooms but a little small. Elevator is a little iffy if you’re on the 3rd or 4th floor as there are no stairs to those floors. Busy with only one elevator. Overall a good stay and outdoor hot tub was a bonus!

I have been to a lot of places to stay in Canmore and this is probably the best one! Their amenities are amazing - hot tub, pool, sauna, entertainment room, gym, etc. For the price you're paying, it's cheap and definitely worth it. Clean room and spacious. Staff was accommodating and it was an overall smooth stay.

Was best price hotel for the pricey area. Liked room layout. Lobby pretty and comfy beds but not fancy. Pool is extremely small so my kids couldn't go in because way over capacity.

PROS: the hotel is very clean, the room was nice with a loft bedroom and king size bed, the hotel location is convenient to restaurants and shopping, the pool was clean and the outdoor hot tub excellent, the price very reasonable at $125/night, free parking and wifi. CONS: The indoor pool was too cold to enjoy it, and the hot tub could have been a few degrees hotter. Parking spots are tight and numbers very limited for late arrivals.

I believe it should be stated on the website that there are renovations currently being done on the second floor. The smell of paint or whatever it was, is very strong and almost unbearable. We checked out as soon as we could in morning and do not feel well.

I booked a night for my anniversary. The moment we walked into the hotel, it was hard to breathe with all the dust. We held onto our hope and had positive thoughts while heading to our room, but it was worse than we thought. Everything had a thick layer of dust on it, the windows are super dirty. We turned on the fan and opened a window to help with the air circulation, but it worsened the air and dust flew everywhere. We are sick now and have sore throats.

The sheets had hair on it and were soiled. When to the front desk and employee said there was nothing that could be done and that happens. Health and safe codes were broken with the stay and the hotel employees should have handled the situation very poorly. Do not recommend staying at this location.

Positives first : 1. The view outside was amazing. 2. Coffee Machine in the lobby. 3. Kitchen counter was neat and tidy. Negatives : Which will be more. 1. Cleanliness was below average - dresser still had dust and the back of the tv had spider web hanging. 2. There was a big fly roaming around my room. 3. Bath tub got clogged and I had to fix that in the middle of the night. 4. They had a fire alarm went for almost 15 mins and had to wait in the cold weather as an inconvenience they had to offer something, they didn’t even acknowledge it. It was not at all worth for $830 for 3 night. Should have looked for better option. I would never booking hotel again.

The room was large. I didn’t like that the bed was up a flight of stairs. An 85 yr old doesn’t need to be running up & down the stairs in the middle of the night. It was also hot up there and the AC was too loud to run at night. Also, there were no lights near the couch or bed for reading. There were trains that ran by all day & night. The room was clean. The people that worked there were nice. The restaurant in the hotel was great for breakfast.

The hotel is dated, the AC/heater in the room was very noisy - we turned it on to cool down the room but because it was so noisy had to turn it off to sleep. It was very warm in the room and opening the window only helped a slight bit.

The staff were courteous and very helpful, and the gym was excellent—one of the best hotel gyms I’ve experienced. However, the bed was very uncomfortable, with a noticeable dip in the middle and at the head of the bed. I reported this to the front desk, and they sent someone to inspect it. It was determined that the bed frame was broken and that both the frame and mattress needed to be replaced. The issue took almost three hours to resolve, which caused significant inconvenience and disrupted my rest

We needed to cancel due to having all our money , credit cards and bank cards stolen and hotels.com tried to contact them many times to wave the cancellation fee and they never responded to them after many tries. Will not even attempt to stay at this hotel again in the future. Pour customer service

Room was great! The gentleman at the front desk was amazing! So friendly , so kind. He was a delight. I forget his name but I hope his manager sees this and will look up the dates of our stay to find out who it was that checked us in. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and really made sure we had a great stay. Deepak let us check in early and was super helpful. Annie gave us a late check-out and even tried to accommodate us more, which we really appreciated. The room was clean and comfy too. Overall, we had an awesome experience.

The room was exactly as described, 2 very comfortable beds with a functioning bathroom and sitting area with an additional tv, refrigerator and microwave. It didn’t blow me away, it’s an older property and shows signs of the wear it received over time. I just wish the costs reflected that. The team there was very helpful and the location of the hotel is very walkable to restaurants and downtown Canmore. The hot tub was a fantastic benefit after the long days of hiking.

Booking and check in was standard. Tesla supercharging across the street was great. Rooms were clean and service was quick. Be aware this property backs onto a busy railroad that splits Canmore. You will hear the rumbling of the train coming by and feel some vibration. It does go by at a high speed so it doesnt linger. The AC helped but was quite dusty. All in all solid 3.5/5 for me!

The Chateau Canmore is in a nice location that pretty close to some dinning and shopping options and isn't too far away from the downtown strip. The property itself can use a bit of work to bring up the standard a bit, but overall is nice for a short stay.

The room was clean and spacious. Trains went by frequently throughout the night. Handy location. Parking stalls were very narrow and so big vehicles had difficulty staying in one stall.

La habitación es espaciosa con vistas a la montaña. Está cerca del centro de Canmore , aunque tenía auto decidí caminar y disfruté el paisaje, el clima y el ambiente. La habitación es algo anticuada pero todo funciona correctamente. Hay café y chocolate gratis en el lobby.

Clean quiet spacious room with comfortable beds. Had a small issue with the hair dryer that I reported to front desk that was never resolved but staff was very friendly and the surrounding mountains are beautiful! Good food in the restaurant but no dinner option there.

We enjoyed our stay in a very clean room and we really enjoyed the fireplace in our room on the fourth floor. The breakfast at chez François was excellent and it had lots of gluten-free choices throughout the menu. We’d certainly stay there again.

Chez Francoise restaurant was great, the hottub area was clean and an an amazing view, beds were comfortable and room nice and clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Chateau! The room and hot tub were nice, the staff was friendly and the location was a 10-15 min walk from restaurants/down town Canmore. Hotel had free bear spray to borrow which was nice for hikes!

The property was centrally located. We paid 2500$ for a 3 night stay which was frightfully expensive. For the 3 days that we were there, housecleaning never showed up. Bathroom was not cleaned and bed was not made for 3 days They charged 5 star rates for a 3 star hotel Very disappointing

Disappointed for the price we had to pay. Booked this hotel as the rooms had a fireplace that my wife was excited about and it didn’t work. Bath tube was not as clean as you would hope it would be, and right out side our window were train tracks and the trains were active. The hotel is not a bad hotel but not worth the price they charge.
