Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Orlando - Sanford

Our flight was delayed so we didn’t check in until 1AM. I booked and paid online because of all the amenities listed. When we were checking in we couldn’t hear the clerk because of 4 industrial fans blasting in the “lobby”. We had to shout back and forth to be heard. He said they had been flooded a few days before! He gave us a room on the 3rd floor and as we started to go he informed us that the elevator was broken! Now we are 65 and 67 and in decent shape but we were huffing and puffing after dragging luggage up 3 flights! And he never mentioned breakfast so I asked when it was and he said it’s just a grab and go, not a hot breakfast! First and last time staying at this chain!

Breakfast was not worth having. Elevator didn’t work properly. Will stay elsewhere in future.

This property is poorly managed. We got stuck in the elevator then had to go up 4 flights of stairs with our luggage. The staff never informed other guests that the elevator was not functioning properly. The hallways were not air conditioned. The vending machine did not work properly and we lost $7. The stay was NOT pleasant and would not recommend.

The property is secluded and a bit difficult to locate late at night. Check In was quick and easy. The exterior is nice along with the interior. The Room was very nice, clean and well kept. Isn't much to the Fitness room a couple Treadmills, no weights which was disappointing. There was no daily cleaning of the room or no Do Not disturb signs to place on the exterior of the Room Door also lacking an In Room Safe.

The elevator didnt work during our stay. Thankfully we were on the second floor and not the 4th.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was clean, quiet and they don't charge you for parking. A good bang for the buck!

Great, clean place with nice staff and easy access. The only downside was that we had our pet with. The pet friendly policy is different at this hotel in that we had to use the stairs and couldn’t take the elevator. Also, our dog wasn’t allowed in any common areas. This is different than any other hotel that I have stayed in with my dog.

Nice place with an extended parking area for trucks or fire trucks

Very clean place. Everything you need is right there you don’t have to go far. The only thing I didn’t like was the elevator didn’t work the whole time I was there.

One word. Cockraches.Don't stay here. Picked this hotel as a quick rest before an early flights. Also check in lady didnt greet us when we walked in. Felt like we were burdening her by checking in. Do not stay here.

Was very clean. Loved the long hot shower. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows did not bother me. I have lots of allergies. Staff at check in were very friendly and professional. I will stay here again.

I reached out to the hotel and have been ignored so I’m leaving a review. Within 2 minutes of walking in our hotel room, the bottoms of our feet were black, the floors were filthy. The surfaces had crumbs and stains that could have been wiped up but wasn’t. The breakfast offered was very minimal, which is fine, but the hard-boiled eggs gave both me and my daughter diarrhea within a few hours. The property looks nice and clean from the outside and in the lobby areas but the room and the hallways were dirty, anywhere you went felt warm other than inside the room and lobby. The biggest issue is that they immediately told me they cannot offer any refund at the lobby desk, when at the time I wasn’t even requesting it, I just wanted to let them know that I needed to leave a whole day early because of the issues with the room. I do not recommend staying here.

While the room and facilities were clean, our room had a strong curry oder that was not easy to ignore. I would have asked to switch rooms, but I got in to the hotel at almost 1 am. The room was clean, but should not have been rented to a customer until the smell had been eliminated. Spraying some room spray would not have helped which is what they probably did. When I checked out, the elevator smelled like smoke and they just sprayed with room spray when I shared my concern. I also shared my concern about the hotel room oder on leaving. This is why I can only give 3 stars.

Within 10 minutes my wife spotted a bug on the reclining chair which my initial assessment was confirmed by my insect identification app as a German cockroach! I left sealed in a empty plastic bottle on the kitchen counter. I was totally grossed out and had the worst night’s sleep on the whole trip. It was already 9pm, and we had to fly out early the next morning so we really didn’t have time to switch hotels.

Very clean and comfortable

Rooms are clean and kept up well. Property is quiet and well maintained. The hotel is just a short drive from historic downtown Sanford and close to I-4 in a great convenient location. Staff is friendly and helpful, and check in was quick and easy. My main concern is always the cleanliness of the rooms and this hotel is always clean and well taken care of.

My room smelled like a backed up sewer or something.

Yucky property It had roaches

Roaches in our room. Went to the front desk for a refund where the lady called the manager and said we have another guest with roaches in their room. She said they had just fumigated.

Had scheduled a late check-in (9pm) for an early departure (3am). Waited at the check-in counter for 15 minutes, trying to locate someone to release us to our reserved room. The room was +80 degrees and took hours to cool down to a comfortable temperature to fall asleep, by that time we had to get back up and leave. And had to wait again to have someone check us back out.

I would not stay here again or recommend. Bed was hard, pillows were hard and flat. Air conditioner in room noisily turned on and off every 15 min the entire night so none of us slept at all. Upon arrival, no front desk person due to her being outside attending to a guest whose car had just been keyed. Room was clean and spacious would be the only pros I can give to this hotel. Left too early in the morning to review the breakfast as we were just staying one night to be close to the airport, which wound up being 15 min away so not as close as advertised.

This hotel accommodated our needs with being so close to the airport. That is about all we liked about this hotel. The rooms literately felt like a giant oversized hospital room. Very sterile styled room, not cozy at all. It was clean and we were happy about that. I would not stay here again if it were for more than one night. There was no one at the front desk when we walked in and had to wait until I found a button on the wall to ring for help and even at that, I still had to wait. Front desk person was not friendly either.

Hotel room was clean but the clientele was kind of ghetto. Both of the lobby bathrooms were out of order for the day because the guests would clog up their toilet then come downstairs and proceed to clog up the lobby bathroom. The vending machines were out of order. Since the floors in the room were vinyl, we could hear the people upstairs and in the room next to us all night.

Spacious room, very clean.

This motel was very clean, new looking, dark window coverings for nighttime, comfortable. The only thing not liking was that noice easily transfers between room, floors. With being a recent build, it seems it would have had better noise insulation.

Extended Stay in Sanford was a great stop over in our road trip. Very clean, comfortable bed and nice little kitchenette. Plan on making your own or going out for breakfast, as the grab and go isn’t much.

There’s was only one problem; the WiFi, complicated to access

It is clean and utilitarian. Staff was efficient but not friendly. But...no blow dryer. No coffee maker. No mug to heat water. You apparently can ask for dishes at the front desk. But the best part? A daily fee for fast WIFI. Haven't seen that in a hotel for over a decade.

There wasn’t the usual conveniences of a hotel; conditioner or hair dryer. We ended up having to switch rooms because the ac was broken in the first room. Front desk was absolutely amazing and so sweet.

Dania deserves a raise she is the most helpful staff member in the franchise, give her a raise she deserves it. She is experienced and gave us everything we asked for. Very good service overall, I would definitely come back.

The front desk was terrible . No professional what’s so ever . Acts like they don’t even care about there job there

On 02/01/24, I booked a reservation to the Extended Stay America Premier Suites Orlando Sanford through Expedia and paid the total of $163 for a room at the hotel on 02/14/24-02/15/24. I arrived at the hotel on 02/14/24 around 7:00pm and was greeted by the front desk attendant, Abby O. I told Abby about my reservation and the confirmation number but she said she didn’t see my name and the confirmation number was to another guest. I showed her my receipt and she asked to see my bank statements because she alleged I could have canceled the charge. As you can imagine, asking to see a guest’s bank statements to prove they paid for a hotel after they’ve showed them the receipt is very unprofessional. Regardless, I drove multiple hours for a business meeting and needed a room so I showed her my credit card statement showing her I didn’t cancel the payment. She proceeded to call someone and speak Tagalog. She then got off the phone and said there must be a glitch in the system and can’t do anything. When I asked her for another room she said the hotel was full. She then declined ever asking to see my bank statement when another guest at the front desk commented how unprofessional she was and that I needed to call management. When I asked for Abby’s full name for the complaint, she got offended and said she would only say her last name is O.

The lady at the front desk couldn't find our reservation even with the reservation number. The Rineheart Rd extended stay the front desk clerk was not friendly or helpful. We did not stay.

Amazing customer service.

I always enjoy staying here because the staff is so friendly and they will go above and beyond to help you! Julia has been a doll to interact with and she handled my complaint and questions very professionally without breaking a smile. You can tell that she values her customers and will do all she can for you. Also the rooms are always so clean and well taken care of! I will continue to stay at this property and I will also continue to recommend the property to my family and friends!

Arrived around 9:00 pm, there was no one at the desk another guest was there to get a replacement key and he had been there for a while. There was a bell to ring he said he had rung the bell a couple times with no result, the sign said that the clerk would be back soon, but could dial 0000 on a house phone to get immediate service. I reached around the desk to call on the phone after waiting for about 10 minutes and dropped the phone then the clerk came from the back and was rude saying that people do not read the sign. I said I did read the sign and was trying to call.

We were so tired when we went to check in at 8:30 pm. There was no one at the desk. A few minutes later, someone came up and pressed the button on the wall to hand the employee a soda. We'd still be standing there waiting had he not known to ring the bell.

We were looking for an affordable hotel next to the airport. Extended Stay America was affordable, clean and a quick and easy drive to the airport. The night-time front desk person was outstanding. Very friendly and very helpful. She was awesome.

Stayed here due to an early flight out of Sanford the next morning. It had kind of a hard to find location behind a Best Buy. We were checked in quickly. The 4:30 a.m. attendant told us to simply leave the key cards on the front desk as she was busy with something else. Had to check out before breakfast was offered so no review of that. Room and hallways all seemed very clean. Room was quiet with no disturbances. About 15 minutes from airport which was convenient.

Good for convenience of getting to Sanford airport for 6am flight

Easy drive to airport. Right next to a Walmart and Publix. Great for travelers.

Spotless building and room. My only problem was FINDING the place. It is hidden behind the best buy!

1 night stay. Location was initially a problem to locate with Google maps. It took me to the highway ramp. It’s easier to find by going to the BestBuy next door. This seems like a newer building and location. The room was clean and ready. Staff informative. There is a “tourist” fee of 4:49$ even if you are a Florida resident. Other than the misdirection and the surprise fee, the stay was good. No complaints. There are restaurants and shopping with-in walking distance. Did not do the breakfast, so unable to comment on that part of the stay.

Hotels were pricy for a friday in Orlando, do came by this place. Hotel is in a weird spot, but for one night, was satisfied. Food options are near

Breakfast consisted of coffee, off brand bars & muffins

The 'free breakfast's is NOT breakfast, it's snacks. The coffee machines didn't even have carafes. They should stop saying that they have breakfast. Otherwise the place was good. Will stay here again, just won't expect breakfast.

Nice new hotel. Not much breakfast!

Check in was great and so was the staff. Overnight person that was to have breakfast out and coffee made before 7:00 am didn't have coffee ready nor did she have the food ready. We were on an overnight trip so we could wait however there were guys that were leaving for work and came for coffee and had to leave without because she didn't bother to make sure it was full. Not sure what she does behind the wall but she should pay more attention to the guests. Linn when we checked in was great and the lady who checked us out was great also!~

This is a very well kept hotel. Great breakfast and lots of help keeping it clean and stocked. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
