Overall the place was good and the location was excellant. It started off bad when they tried to downgrade us to a smaller room than we booked. There were three adults and they wanted to put us in a room with a single bed! Also there is no A/C and you can’t keep the doors and windows open or the monkeys will get in. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but the restaurant on the 1st floor was excellant so that was not an issue. The beds were Ok but were short and not great for tall people. Overall the hotel is average but it is in a great location with easy access to everything.

The owner was very helpful. I had a great room with a mountain view but no sun and it was cold, so the owner offered an alternate sunny warm room which was great. Fantastic hot wayer :)

This is the second time I have stayed at Buddha's Abode. They had only just opened last year and it is pleasing to see an additional floor has opened up. The views of the mountains are the best in Mcleod Ganj and the location is fantastic for all that the area has to offer. The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly, and really made my stay even better than expected. I would absolutely stay here again and I would highly recommend due to the great location and amazing nights sleep on a super comfortable bed!
