I recently stayed at Ca’ di Dio, Venice for my 50th birthday. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, elegant, and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay away from the crowds. It’s in a great location, right next to the Arsenale water taxi stop, making it easy to get around (about 40 minutes from the airport). The Highlights: • Tranquil, grown-up atmosphere – Ideal for those looking for peace and quiet rather than a lively setting. • Excellent location – Away from the busiest tourist areas but still very convenient. • Good breakfast – A great selection catering to all dietary needs. • Lovely amenities – A small gym and spa, plus a beautiful garden and quiet library for relaxing. • Spacious suite (Room 105) – Our room faced a building site and the canal below. There were higher-floor rooms available, but at an extra cost. The other room option faced a wall, so we stayed in our original suite. At €600 per night for three more nights, paying even more for an upgrade didn’t seem worth it. The noise wasn’t an issue—just the boats on the canal from around 7:30 AM.

This is a beautiful modern hotel that is very centrally located. It is an easy 10 minute walk to San Marco square, and there are lots of great restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Water taxis pick up and drop off directly at the hotel. The rooms are quiet, clean, modern, very well appointed and have comfortable beds. Breakfast was great and we really enjoyed sitting in the beautiful courtyard each morning. One added bonus was that the hotel offers a complementary tour to the Murano glass factory. We would definitely stay here again and we will recommend this hotel to friends. The only negative is that upon checkout they added an “optional” 5% “employee benefit” (ie. tip) onto the bill. You can choose to pay this or not, but it’s a little uncomfortable to ask them to remove it.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting. Perfect decor that includes local art and gorgeous glass from Murano (not only the Libby chandelier but in all the rooms too). Breakfast in the courtyard was wonderful and the staff is lovely and super helpful!

Just a beautiful property! Impeccable and beautifully decorated rooms and property. Amazing and friendly staff. Delicious cocktail drinks. Love the complimentary water taxi ride to Murano Island! Love the breakfast box for early mornjng departure! Love that it’s just on the perimeter of the busy San Marco. Queit nabe with lots of delivious restaurants. This is a fancy nice retreat!

The hotel is beautiful. We arrived by water taxi to its private dock, which is a pretty cool experience. The decoration is modern and classy. The staff is efficient and attentive. Extraordinary drinks at the bar, with delicious bites as well. Special thanks to Diego, Marco and Davide who were awesome to us. We got a room upgrade and the suite was great. Couldn’t use the spa as it was closed Monday & Tuesday. The breakfast is delicious, served in great environment overlooking beautiful patio. Location is perfect, as it stands at the end of where all the carnival crowds usually are. The Arsenale vaporetto #1 stop is at the hotel’s door, which is extremely convenient. Thank you all at Cà di Dio for making our stay special. We hope to come back for the 2024 carnevale for another unforgettable experience.

This is a great find in Venice , location is great and just far enough away from the main tourist parts to feel calmer whilst only being two minutes from the busier parts. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and can pretty much sort anything , the bar and restaurant are great, try the cocktails in the evening they are a must! You will not be disappointed if you book here , it is a really wonderful hotel.

The staff at this hotel are top notch , the breakfast buffet delicious and the rooms clean and quiet . Loved our stay here - it was a bit of a walk from St Marks Square but was needed after dinner 😀 I would definitely stay here again .

Very clean with twice a day room cleaning and bed and towel change. nice room, lived up to what they promised. Complementary soft drinks. We used the restaurant which in contrary to rest of the hotel, it was not great. Very expensive with small rabbit portions, and not great taste.

This is a truly special place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Our room, with its amazing view across the lagoon, was spotlessly clean with all you could possibly need. A special mention must go to Ivan for all his care and wonderful recommendations and also to Marco in the bar for making us feel so welcome. We will be back!

I loved my stay here. The property itself is gorgeous. The location is on the main island, so very convenient for sight seeing around Venice. The basic room is not the biggest but the bed is super comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Insgesamt okay, das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, direkt an einer Vaporetto-Station und zu Fuß sind es knapp 10 min bis zum Markus-Platz. Insgesamt okay, das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, direkt an einer Vaporetto-Station und zu Fuß sind es knapp 10 min bis zum Markus-Platz. Amazing stay. Hotel is very nice, brand new and SLH standard. Service is impeccable and room is VERY comfortable. Only thing I’d change is I wish we could control the AC/Heater ourselves instead of having to call reception.

Väldigt fint hotell. Plus för walk-in closet. Minus för att rummet var iskallt när vi kom och förklaringen ”det är olika hur folk vill ha det och vi kan inte veta”. Andra dagen var det kallt igen. När vi påtalade det på väg ut såg de på skärmen att ett fönster inte var stängt (vi hade inte rört fönstren) och föreslog att vi skulle gå upp och kolla. På temat värme är det också olyckligt att man valt bullriga varmluftsfläktar som uppvärmning i Venedig ”la serenissima” där tystnaden är en del av charmen. I stort är det dock ett väldigt fint modernt lyxhotell. Baren är jättefin, frukosten perfekt. De får säkert ordning på värmen, och de bjöd på en spabehandling som kompensation vid utcheckningen vilket var en fin gest.

This hotel is fantastic, great location from St Marks Square. The rooms and facilities are all beautiful and the staff couldn't be friendlier. The arrival to the hotel was fantastic, arrival via taxi from the airport directly to the entrance to the hotel. The rooms are well decorated with huge beds, showers and lounge space. This hotel is truly fantastic.

The hotel itself is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and informative. There are some unfortunate high cost elements to it. $30+ USD cocktails that don't have premium spirits for example. At checkout, they automatically apply a 15% gratuity to the whole bill, room included. They give you an option to remove it, as the whole staff looks at you to see if you will do it! There are tip areas for every bill you get for food/drinks while you're there too. You feel like you're in a very American environment where there is a constant ask for a tip. We're always happy to tip but applying it to a room rate felt unnecessary.

Have stayed in many 5 star hotels the world over and in Venice and there is a reason Ca’ di Dio is ranked amongst the top 10 hotels in Venice. The culture within the hotel is to say yes and make your stay beyond your expectations. They always exceed my expectations. This is a truly special place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Our room, with its amazing view across the lagoon, was spotlessly clean with all you could possibly need. A special mention must go to Ivan for all his care and wonderful recommendations and also to Marco in the bar for making us feel so welcome. We will be back!

Very clean with twice a day room cleaning and bed and towel change. nice room, lived up to what they promised. Complementary soft drinks. We used the restaurant which in contrary to rest of the hotel, it was not great. Very expensive with small rabbit portions, and not great taste.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting. Perfect decor that includes local art and gorgeous glass from Murano (not only the Libby chandelier but in all the rooms too). Breakfast in the courtyard was wonderful and the staff is lovely and super helpful!

This is a great find in Venice , location is great and just far enough away from the main tourist parts to feel calmer whilst only being two minutes from the busier parts. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and can pretty much sort anything , the bar and restaurant are great, try the cocktails in the evening they are a must! You will not be disappointed if you book here , it is a really wonderful hotel.

What a sweet gem! The hotel couldn’t be better, the staff couldn’t be friendlier, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Small yet delicate and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!!!!

The hotel is beautiful. We arrived by water taxi to its private dock, which is a pretty cool experience. The decoration is modern and classy. The staff is efficient and attentive. Extraordinary drinks at the bar, with delicious bites as well. Special thanks to Diego, Marco and Davide who were awesome to us. We got a room upgrade and the suite was great. Couldn’t use the spa as it was closed Monday & Tuesday. The breakfast is delicious, served in great environment overlooking beautiful patio. Location is perfect, as it stands at the end of where all the carnival crowds usually are. The Arsenale vaporetto #1 stop is at the hotel’s door, which is extremely convenient. Thank you all at Cà di Dio for making our stay special. We hope to come back for the 2024 carnevale for another unforgettable experience.
