I liked that it was a smaller Hotel but the breakfast area needs to be bigger the Ice was only on the ground floor and the pool was not ready for use other than that the Room was clean and the facility was clean and easy accessible

The pool area was very unprofessional looking. The water had dirt in it, the one and only table at the pool had a broken umbrella. There was maintenance equipment scattered on the concrete walkway around the pool. The pool maintenance inspection sheet record was dated 9-2-2024. Pics upon request. Other than the pool, it was very enjoyable there. Breakfast was very good even though it was a very small area and finding a table to eat at was difficult if you were not there when they opened. Food area was very well kept as far as cleanliness and replenishing of food throughout the meal hours. We will come back again!

Disappointed the pool was it up and running but considering it had a leak and they are redoing it to reopen it. I’m very happy about the room was great. We’ll definitely stay there again.

I have stayed at this property before, and had no issues. It appears to have deteriorated quite a bit. I booked a suite with a seating area. The sofa had non-matching cushions, which were dirty. The bathroom had not been cleaned well (dirt in corners and stains on the wall above the trash bin). Over all, just needs some attention to detail and replacements of furniture.

Liked the beds were clean and comfy. Disliked everything else. Old, rundown, dirty carpet through hall, room, etc. Dirty space between hall and elevated grooves. Just felt like a cheap motel. Breakfast was just okay. It's the only thing I felt made the stay okay, I mean bearable. Room is old, musty,, paint chips everywhere, no adequate hooks or towel racks in bathroom, grungy dirty group, light switch plates had layer of dirt, lamp shade stained and gross. Easy fixes. We have stayed here before for travel break and things ha'e deteriorated so we will never stay here again as there are many other options.

The room was never done. The bed was never made. We had asked for them to do the room because they were doing other rooms. And we've been in and out so we let them know and we're finally leaving around 11 o'clock in the morning and when we came back that night, the beds were never made the towels, weren't new fresh? They gave my daughter's sheets and she had to change the bed sheets. And gave a new towels. They didn't wipe anything down. They didn't clean anything empty the garbage. This was after being out all day. And you wanna just come back to a clean hotel room? It's disappointing.

The bathroom was in poor condition. Paint was peeling in several locations. Also there was patch work in the bathroom and in dire need of a paint job. Upon entering the room there was a damp smell. If I owned the hotel the room would have been unavailable until the repairs were made to the room.

Stayed overnight on two separate occasions, one night on my way down to NC from MA and another night on my way back up to MA. Excellent stay both times. Great location right off RT81 and the main road. Up on a hill with great sunset and sunrise views from the entrance. Right around the corner from multiple eateries and a gas station. Variety of breakfast selections included with booking, which runs from 6am-9am. Room was spotless, with everything present, working, and well upkept.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I was given a small room near the elevator and it was fairly noisy as other guests were coming in for their stay, but once everything settled down, I slept very well in a very comfy bed! Looking forward to staying here again in my return trip home in 4 days.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was typical hotel food. Easy access to where we wanted to go. The historic district downtown is a little tricky, but worth going to. Try the Shenandoa pizza it's excellent!

We not impressed with the acceptable room we had, it was small and unable to move a wheelchair around, the room had poor lighting in the room and bathroom and the walk in shower was nice but allowed the floor to get wet and the time became a sheet of ice. We had to put towels down not to fall. No counter space in bathroom and the night light in tge bathroom blinked all night.

We accidentally left a fairly large sum of cash on the nightstand. After realizing this fact several hours later, we drove back and the lady in housekeeping who had cleaned our room returned it to us! There is still good and honest people in the world-thank you Elsa!

We were declined for an extension to check out despite our plea that we were attending MBU graduation & just wanted to return back to change clothes for our road trip. Front desk was unfriendly & flat out said "no way", you need to check out at 11am. TV's remote was low batt so it did not work during our stay.

Had to pay $15 to park. Not good. Room was ok, sliding doors noisy. Breakfast was standard, not impressed. Staff was well trained to follow script. No personalized interactions, just stay on script to treat everyone the same. Sad.

Staff were helpful and courteous. I told the manager how appreciative I was that there was no news on the tv in the dining area, which made the time more restful. Everyone was very professional. Housekeeping was thorough, very well done.

The front desk staff were awesome. Being new to the area I asked for recommendations in downtown and they gave me a map and highlighted their favorite places. We went to one of the restaurants and the photos delicious. The beds are comfortable room is very nice.

I didn't catch his name, but your daytime desk person when we checked in April 20th was helpful above and beyond the line of duty. We talked about area attractions and the facility across the street, and he was tremendously informative and very friendly. It was a pleasure meeting him, you all have an excellent employee.

This property sits on a hill with an absolutely gorgeous view. The property is clean and located convenient to everything in Staunton, all while being quiet and peaceful. The room was spotless and well appointed. The beds were quite firm. The breakfast offered waffles, eggs, sausage, bread, English muffins, yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc. and was fresh and tasty. The gym was stocked well for a hotel gym. If we're in the area again, we will definitely be back.

Stayed overnight on two separate occasions, one night on my way down to NC from MA and another night on my way back up to MA. Excellent stay both times. Great location right off RT81 and the main road. Up on a hill with great sunset and sunrise views from the entrance. Right around the corner from multiple eateries and a gas station. Variety of breakfast selections included with booking, which runs from 6am-9am. Room was spotless, with everything present, working, and well upkept.

We stayed overnight here to break up our travel going home to Pa. We had a comfortable King room that was spacious. Downtown Staunton is a great little town to visit closeby. We had a wonderful dinner at the Mill Street Grill, great food and service. We decided to do breakfast at Sweet Addie's Waffle Shop downtown as well so we could walk around before we left. Only real complaint we had was the lobby smelled strong of weed. I am sure some people might welcome that but that's is just as bad as smelling cigarette smoke. Front desk manager, Chase was very nice to talk to and helpful. Very easy off and on access to Rt 81

When we drove up to the property, I was not impressed. The outside needed some basic maintenance. Weeds were overgrowing the landscape rocks and some general attention. But once inside, the property is very nice and well maintained. Our room was quite comfy and clean although the bathroom is a bit small. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection of choices. Overall, this property was for our one night stay needs.

Upon check in we were offered coffee and hot cocoa, cookies and candy canes. The room was clean. The breakfast was perfect for us. It included a waffle maker, a selection of cereal, oatmeal and yogurt. Fruit, muffins, bread for toasting. We were really appreciative.

Rooms were not huge but adequate and very clean. Breakfast was sparse and just ok. No coffee in carafe at 9 am so I settled for decaf (😝). It was cold. Otherwise our room, bed and shower was very clean. Thank you!

The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is nice as well as the coffee machine which provided all types of coffee (cappuccino, mocha lattee, etc). The bed was very comfy. Two negatives: The lighting in the room was poor and we did miss the nightly cookies promised us that were never made.

Beautiful views, clean rooms, friendly staff, nice luggage carts, nice pool, plenty of parking. The only thing I would have liked that wasn't available was more light over the desk and food areas in the room and an extra plug at the food area for the coffee pot. We will definitely stay here again!
