Amazing and very cosy hotel. It only has 3 rooms but that is the charme of this hotel. In return you have a very relaxed morning with a good breakfast. They use fresh ingredients for the breakfast and they don't use sugar. The thing I liked the most (and I think that is also the nr1 reason to book here) is the amazing view over the Douro valley. Marco and his wife Ana are very friendly and helpful. They also offer a great full day tour in the Douro valley with amazing lunch! I would recommend this to establishment to everybody!

This is a beautiful 3 room guesthouse. Anna, the proprietress, greeted us and even let us check in a bit early. They were very solicitous and welcoming of our 5 year old. They made sure he had kid's cereal for breakfast, and made him a special kid's meal for dinner. It was his birthday, so they very kindly made him a birthday brownie and made him feel special. Everything about this property is stunning. Would highly recommend staying here along with having dinner on site.

I would give this property 6 stars if I could. Book this for your stay in Douro! They accommodated early check in, greeted us with Port and upgraded our room. Their staff assisted us with reservations to wineries, local restaurants and viewpoints. The property is incredible and you feel right at home. The breakfast is amazing and they are so attentive. It was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at and will be telling all of our friends to stay here when in this area.

An amazing experience! It is a paradise less than 2 hours drive from the city of Porto. 5 nights stay with my family in this beautiful, quiet and serene setting. The house is modern, with a blessed view from the mountain towards Pinhão and the Douro River. The staff and the owners were impeccable to our needs, delicious breakfasts, all the windows have a beautiful view to The Valley. The pool and grounds are very well kept. We had a delicious dinner wiith wine pairing in the premise one of the nights, which I highly recommend. Reservation is required. We rented a car so all the wineries, restaurants and the little towns around Pinhão were 10-20 minutes drive from the hotel. In addition, both couples enjoyed the outdoor sitting area to view the river while drinking wine from the collection of wines provided for an additional cost. Before dinner, the lounge room allowed us to further view out from the expansive picturesque window at dusk. The meals for breakfast and dinner were prepared well and delicious. The chef created meals to cater to various palates. Tony’s service was professional and helpful. Overall, the three bedroom house was clean, organized, and beautiful. The space is beautiful, the bed was so Comfortable, very clean and quiet. You look out and are surrounded by vineyards. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and delicious. The restaurant was closed the night we arrived (Sunday) but I wish we could have tasted the food here since the breakfast was amazing. The hosts helped us with dinner reservations and gave great suggestions for wineries to visit. 11/10 place to stay. Would highly reccomend!

The property has great views of the Douro. Our room was very comfortable with a big picture window with a phenomenal view of the valley. Marco,Ana, Gi and Katerina were very attentive to our needs and even though the restaurant was closed on Monday provided a tasty dinner in a box. Breakfast was substantial and a good selection of local produce offered.

This place is spectacular. The view is incredible and the rooms are beautiful. The hosts were very communicative and helped with our questions. Loved the complimentary snacks. I only stayed overnight and wish I could have enjoyed it more. Just fyi, there is nothing walkable. You have to drive at least 7-8 minutes to get to town.

A little piece of paradise in the Douro Valley. The scenery in this area is incredible and the property takes full advantage of this. Beautiful furnishings, views from all rooms and service is excellent. Breakfast was a delight.

This is a beautiful 3 room guesthouse. Anna, the proprietress, greeted us and even let us check in a bit early. They were very solicitous and welcoming of our 5 year old. They made sure he had kid's cereal for breakfast, and made him a special kid's meal for dinner. It was his birthday, so they very kindly made him a birthday brownie and made him feel special. Everything about this property is stunning. Would highly recommend staying here along with having dinner on site.

I would give this property 6 stars if I could. Book this for your stay in Douro! They accommodated early check in, greeted us with Port and upgraded our room. Their staff assisted us with reservations to wineries, local restaurants and viewpoints. The property is incredible and you feel right at home. The breakfast is amazing and they are so attentive. It was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at and will be telling all of our friends to stay here when in this area.

Antonio (Tony) greeted our party (4 guests) with a smile and attended to our needs throughout our stay. The experience was unique and personalized. One couple stayed in the “Almond” room with spectacular views of the Douro River and valley. The room was extremely clean and allowed us to sit and admire the tranquil views and gorgeous sunrise. In addition, both couples enjoyed the outdoor sitting area to view the river while drinking wine from the collection of wines provided for an additional cost. Before dinner, the lounge room allowed us to further view out from the expansive picturesque window at dusk. The meals for breakfast and dinner were prepared well and delicious. The chef created meals to cater to various palates. Tony’s service was professional and helpful. Overall, the three bedroom house was clean, organized, and beautiful. This place is spectacular. The view is incredible and the rooms are beautiful. The hosts were very communicative and helped with our questions. Loved the complimentary snacks. I only stayed overnight and wish I could have enjoyed it more. Just fyi, there is nothing walkable. You have to drive at least 7-8 minutes to get to town.

An amazing experience! It is a paradise less than 2 hours drive from the city of Porto. 5 nights stay with my family in this beautiful, quiet and serene setting. The house is modern, with a blessed view from the mountain towards Pinhão and the Douro River. The staff and the owners were impeccable to our needs, delicious breakfasts, all the windows have a beautiful view to The Valley. The pool and grounds are very well kept. We had a delicious dinner wiith wine pairing in the premise one of the nights, which I highly recommend. Reservation is required. We rented a car so all the wineries, restaurants and the little towns around Pinhão were 10-20 minutes drive from the hotel. I am looking forward to stay here again next time that I come to visit Porto.

The property has great views of the Douro. Our room was very comfortable with a big picture window with a phenomenal view of the valley. Marco,Ana, Gi and Katerina were very attentive to our needs and even though the restaurant was closed on Monday provided a tasty dinner in a box. Breakfast was substantial and a good selection of local produce offered.

Everything just works. Great room, awesome views, nice breakfast and delicious dinner with local wines. If your staying here, please also check their tours. We took the 1 day Douro tour and it was beautiful.

This was the highlight of our trip. We stayed in the Almond suite and it was gorgeous. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home. The space is beautiful, the bed was so Comfortable, very clean and quiet. You look out and are surrounded by vineyards. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and delicious. The restaurant was closed the night we arrived (Sunday) but I wish we could have tasted the food here since the breakfast was amazing. The hosts helped us with dinner reservations and gave great suggestions for wineries to visit. 11/10 place to stay. Would highly reccomend!
