Stayed here one night as I was attending a wedding down the road at Farbridge. The property, room and facilities were all lovely. Comfy bed, nice fluffy towels and the room had everything you could need. Plenty of parking and nice garden. The staff were welcoming, including Ruby the dog, and the breakfast was amazing! And very nice to have my gluten intolerance accommodated for at breakfast too. My only slight negative is the price but it was perfect location and only a 20 min walk to the venue (3 min drive).

Pleasant two night stay at a comfortable and friendly pub. We only ate breakfast at the property but this was excellent and with friendly service. Very convenient for Chichester - 10 minute drive to the large car park by the Festival Theatre. Traffic noise from the road was not noticeable as the rooms are set back from the main road behind the main building. The pub is opposite the Centurion Way - a footpath along the old railway line between Chichester and Midhurst.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at the Kelsey Arms. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent with a good choice. Stayed for one night whilst visiting the Goodwood festival of speed. Ideal location for Goodwood, ample free parking. Would definitely recommend this property.

We were tended to by courteous, pleasant staff. We did not require breakfast and the management reduced our bill taking this into consideration. The bedroom was spotless and very comfortable. It was a peaceful night which was undisturbed. The only possible thing missing was that no shower cap was provided! :-)

This was a lovely surprise. Stayed one night for a family wedding nearby, having driven past the pub hundreds of times through many different incarnations. The rooms were super clean, looked brand new and had everything we needed, the service was great and the breakfast hit the spot. It's a proper lovely traditional country pub.

Went to the racing and hotel close to venue staff great and food good overall great except one criticism slept in rooms in courtyard and sound proofing from room above ..floorboards very creaky and hard to get back to sleep ..but only fault

From the moment I arrived I felt welcome. I had a wedding cake to deliver the next day and the chef kindly stored it overnight in his walk in fridge. I was shown to my very comfortable room and all facilities explained. Breakfast choices were huge and delicious. Staff were polite and friendly.

staff are very helpful. The room was very good quality and a very comfortable bed, we went to chichester theatre on saturday night had food at the selsey arms before, the food is delicious would happily stay again and recommend The Selsey arms to anyone

Greeted and had our suitcase carried to the room. Very comfortable and spacious room with all one could need, including complimentery bottled water. Appreciative of having large bath sheets rather than smaller bath towels. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice, and well presented. We ate dinner there too and that was equally delicious. Excellent service from all staff. Please note that The Selsey Arms is not in Lavant but in West Dean!

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Very convenient for our trip to the Weald and Downlands museum. Staff were all friendly, room was lovely and breakfast was delicious.

Greeted and had our suitcase carried to the room. Very comfortable and spacious room with all one could need, including complimentery bottled water. Appreciative of having large bath sheets rather than smaller bath towels. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice, and well presented. We ate dinner there too and that was equally delicious. Excellent service from all staff. Please note that The Selsey Arms is not in Lavant but in West Dean!

Pleasant two night stay at a comfortable and friendly pub. We only ate breakfast at the property but this was excellent and with friendly service. Very convenient for Chichester - 10 minute drive to the large car park by the Festival Theatre. Traffic noise from the road was not noticeable as the rooms are set back from the main road behind the main building. The pub is opposite the Centurion Way - a footpath along the old railway line between Chichester and Midhurst.

Stayed here one night as I was attending a wedding down the road at Farbridge. The property, room and facilities were all lovely. Comfy bed, nice fluffy towels and the room had everything you could need. Plenty of parking and nice garden. The staff were welcoming, including Ruby the dog, and the breakfast was amazing! And very nice to have my gluten intolerance accommodated for at breakfast too. My only slight negative is the price but it was perfect location and only a 20 min walk to the venue (3 min drive).

Was an ok place to stay but not great. Room was mostly ok, bathroom needed some TLC. Biggest complaint was the breakfast. Crockery and cutlery hadn't been cleaned properly. Food was not served hot. Was just an ok place...

Easy to find with plenty of parking, arrived early but wasn’t a problem shown to our room by the landlady which was larger than expected with plenty of room it was of a high standard very fresh looking and clean! Extra pillows found , and had a selection of tea and coffees and had delish quality biscuits! Bathroom was a good size with fresh smelling towels ready and good quality shower gel and conditioner Evening meal and breakfast were of a high standard A very pleasant relaxed atmosphere where nothing was too much trouble x Would book again if ever we return to visit friends in Midhurst Thank you x If I didn’t have cats I would quite easily of adopted Ruby the dog who definitely is the boss there !

We chose the Selsey Inn for it’s location adjacent the Centurion Way and because breakfast was included. The staff were very welcoming and the room was comfy. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. The pub itself was quiet, we were there Thursday and Friday. The only downside was the floor of the room above Room 3 was very creaky.

Second time staying, and I imagine we'll be back again. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The surroundings are beautiful. And the food was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner twice and very impressed.

Lovely place to stay, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the ones in the courtyard are quite modern. The site is accessible and there is plenty of parking available. All the staff were lovely, but the young man that did our meet and greet was so helpful. Tea, coffee and water are provided in the rooms, and oat milk cartons, which pleased my wife she normally has to request this. The bar has a good selection of beers, including real ales and is used by a lot of the locals, so always a good sign. Without doubt the food at the site is some of the best pub food I have ever eaten, if its available I would highly recommend the Comfit Belly of Pork. The next time we stay we will have to ensure the Pizza Oven in the garden area is available, as I would love to try their Pizzas!
