I rarely feel compared to leave a review but the staff were so accommodating, the building is beautiful, the rooms clean and the beds huuuuge. Had a great stay. The nice gentleman who showed us to our room and gave us a tour was the highlight, just great service.

Beautiful building highlighted by some antique artwork. Room was impeccable. The hotel is very clean and very well maintained. Service was very courteous and helpful. The location is ideal for visiting Arequipa and the area very secure. Lots of excellent restaurants and stores nearby.

We stayed here a few years ago and the hotel has had a major makeover. It is now a much better experience. However, there are still a few minor things that we feel could need attention. The pillowcases are too small for the pillows, and there are no protectors fitted. The bottom sheet keeps coming loose - maybe investigate using fitted sheets. One real plus was breakfast. The hotel is always busy, yet there was never a shortage of anything, and our used plates were always cleared away. Overall we were impressed with the service in all aspects of the hotel.

The location is simply best to explore Arequipa downtown. It is safe. Unfortunately the whole downtown area is not exempt from loud music in nearby discotheques on Friday and Saturday night - even up until almost 4 am. We would have liked earplugs.

Great balance between colonial and modern feel / style for everything… Good breakfast, fresh juices, fruit, granola, and eggs every day. Harder beds, also lots of neighbouring construction going on at the time that we were staying there starting at 7am, so that was crappy for sleeping in. Awesome restaurants and bars in the area, great & safe walking district, plenty to see and do within 3-5 minutes

The only downside of my Peru Trip. There was no air conditioner in the room, and the staff did not provide any solution such as fans. The room was hot during the night. If you open the windows, then the mosquitoes and the street noise did not let you sleep. The staff was neither helpful nor amicable. We had to request for a hair dryer more than three time in order to receive it. We requested the same-day laundry service, yet our clothes were received a day later with stains in it. Nevertheless we were charged the same-day fare. Arequipa is such a beautiful city. Please visit it yet stay away from this hotel!!

Eu tinha adorado a primeira estadia e resolvi repetir no retorno a Arequipa, mas não obtive ajuda com a mala pesada pra subir os degraus até o elevador. E, pior, ao sair de madrugada, eu tropecei na escada escura e quase rolei abaixo porque a luz não acende automaticamente e o funcionário permaneceu sentado e inerte sem ir acender a luz. Erro do hotel e má vontade do funcionário poderiam provocar acidente e comprometer minha viagem.

The hotel is right in the middle of Arequipa’s scene of best restaurants and steps from Plaza de Armas. For the evening out you cannot be more central. The historic building is very nice and you feel in the middle of everything right oposite the monastery.

Très bel hôtel, emplacement idéal près de la place principale et juste en face du monastère Santa Catalina. L’équipe est sympa surtout un jeune homme dont je ne me rappelle plus le nom qui etait aux bagages. Cependant je donne 3 étoiles sur 5 à cause de 3 points négatifs D’abord le Check out est à 10h et c’est la première fois de ma vie que je vois ça!!! Ensuite le petit dejeuner n’est pas digne du standard de l’hôtel il n’est pas mauvais mais on s’attend à mieux pour le prix et l’endroit Enfin le bruit la nuit à cause d’un bar ou discotheque situé à proximité les fenêtres ne sont pas assez bien isolées J’espère que la règle pour le Check out et la qualité du petit dejeuner vont Améliorerez

The breakfast was very good. I dont eat egg, but they had very good options that I liked and enjoyed. They also prepared some to go breakfast bags for our group that was leaving on a tour at 3am.
