We found out the dog fee for one night is highway robbery. By the time we found out it was too late to cancel room so we had to lose the cost of the room. Will not be staying at this chain ever

Breakfast was great. Kids loved the pool. The dog was comfortable. Everything was nice! Very clean.

The property was fine - my only criticism is there is no coffee in the lobby - apparently it is only available at breakfast ???

Our room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was not so good. There were plenty of towels for my husband, daughter, and myself. Parking was good. $150 pet fee. We would stay there again.

Clean and quiet. Pool wasn’t operational and put a damper in the stay. It’d have been better to have this information prior to check in, especially for those whose travel plans include some pool time. The ‘non-refundable’ notice (while booking) doesn’t gel well upon realizing you don’t get all you paid for.

Hotel was nice but when i asked fpr an additio al blanket for the sofa bed my son was using i was told it would be brought up to us and they never brought it up. As well as 2 out of the 3 guest laundry dryers where out of order and i had to hang dry my sons baseball uniforms after washing.

I am giving ONE star because the front desk did not tell me at the check-in time there was a $150 PET FEE per NIGHT. The lady asked me to sign a paper but because there were six people waiting in line at the time, I did not read the paper before signing. I did not know the $150 PET FEE until check-out time. I feel that the hotel intentionally hides the fee although they advertise on Expedia as "Pet Friendly". I voiced my displeasure at check-out and asked to speak to the hotel manager who was not available. The hotel manager called me the next day and told me that the $150 pet fee is corporate policy and there is nothing she could do other than raising the question at the next corporate meeting. I asked her why the fee was not announced at the check-in time. She said it was on the paper I signed. She said she would talk to her manager to refund $75 but I have not heard anything back from her. $75 is no big deal but I feel the hotel is not honest in its communication, neither transparent in its fees & charges. More importantly, it is their corporate policy that drives all these calculations. That's why I want to use my victim story to alert other people to AVOID this hotel. If you bring your pet with you, La Quinta is much better.

The staff is very nice and highly recommend to anyone. The hotel looked like new and i went with my family for the elcipse. We had the pool all to ourselves, as well as the workout area. It was a perfect trip!

If you’re picky about the little details right down to the corners of floors, walls, ceilings etc then this is the place for you. The front desk worker told me this property has only been open two years now (it’s Aug 20, 2023) so everything is clean and new. I used the gym facility and it was perfect. Our rooms were very modern. No paint chipping, or bad flooring anywhere, cracks etc. I did see a two stray hairs in the shower which made my skin crawl and some crumbs on the floor near dishwasher which made me gag BUT that was it! After my husband talked me out of going off on someone I was fine. Sheets were crisp white and toiletries were great. Microwave and fridge in room was super convenient. This place is pet friendly for $150 per furry friend. Now that I was not happy with. That’s absolutely ridiculous especially for someone who had a 5 pound yorkie who couldn’t get down from the bed if she tried. Like what on earth is my $150 covering???? Cuz she didn’t do a dang thing but sleep and that’s when we were even in the room. Breakfast was decent. I only ate eggs. My husband ate a waffle. And I always saw workers cleaning. :) ANYHOO I’m def gonna stay here again. I’m a middle school teacher and school is about to start so my nerves and anxiety is all over the place so for me to recommend this place says a lot. Lol Enjoy!

Kitchenette floor was sticky & filthy. Someone had used the toilet-it was not flushed. The soap was used as well as a hand towel. We were short 1 bath towel. The night clerk (manager?) was very apologetic and kind. The morning clerk acted like it didn’t matter, and he couldn’t be bothered. Told him I’d like a towel & maybe the floor cleaned-didn’t happen. Terrible service!

When i booked the room it advertised there was a sleeper sofa in the room which we didnt get have. The carpets in hallway and room definitely need to be cleaned if not replaced. The chair in our room needs to.be cleanead or replaced. We were surprised with the full breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Bathroom wasn’t the clean and the carpet needed to be vacuumed. The breakfast wasn’t good the sausage were very under cooked and there was no spray for the waffle machine and when we asked an attendant he tried to give me butter, but the waffle stuck to the machine so I couldn’t eat it.

I have stayed here before a couple times. This time in particular, the bathroom was just not as clean as usual. There were so many hairs all over the shower, bathroom floor. I was quite disgusted. I usually wipe down everything anyways but this time I had to use my entire travel pack of Clorox wipes. I was pretty disappointed and probably won’t stay here again. The staff is always friendly, customer service always great.

The property was SPOTLESS!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was wonderful, and our stay was great. We even extended our stay an extra night. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here again. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Perfectly decent hotel. Conveniently located. Up keep was lacking a bit as lamps and toilet paper holder were broken. Those things would not be enough to deter me from staying there again. Though the extremely flat pillows might.

Amenities were great. It had everything that you need in a room (dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, microwave, etc.).

This property is fairly new and you get an amazing deal on their rooms. Only complaints so fair is that there is no shower door so if you aren't careful water sprays all over the floor. Also we booked for a king suite with a sofa sleeper, however; the sofa sleeper is a literal joke. I would have just booked without a sleeper sofa had I known how ridiculous the "bed" is. The sofa folds down into the equivalent of a box spring and is hard while maybe slightly squishy and highly uncomfortable. I didn't even allow my 6 year old to utilize this "amenity". Otherwise the property is awesome. Cozy and welcoming. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool was chilly but still enjoyable.

Stayed here for a night with family and it was pleasant stay. Upgraded family suite with new kitchen appliances and dishes. The only problem was the positioning of the TV. Hope they fix it soon

It’s very noisy, kids running through the hallways screaming. We were above the pool and families partied outside with music into the evening. I wouldn’t stay there for more than a couple of days.

Great place to stay—conveniently located near shopping and the highway. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and reasonably priced. However, I strongly suggest updating the pillows. They are extremely soft, as noted by other guests before my visit. Please consider providing firmer pillow options to improve comfort.

The only thing odd was the tv mounted to the side wall…not directly in front of the beds. You need to turn your head to the side to watch tv. I’m not sure why it was located on the side wall? Very strange.

Our stay was great. The room was clean and had great amenities. We loved the couch. It was nice to have a fridge, sink, stove, dishwasher, and basic kitchen supplies.

The person at the desk during check in went above and beyond after she found out my reason for staying was becasue my sister was having surgery in the morning. She put us on the 5th floor so it was quiet. She even had bagles and yogurt sent up becasue we would have to check out and miss breakfast. She went above and beyond, did not have to and I am greatful for her!

Super friendly staff

There was terrible coverage at the front desk over the weekend. We watched people wait more than 15 minutes waiting for someone to come to front desk. They knocked on door and called desk to no avail. This has happened before when we stayed here. There should be someone at the front desk at all times for service and security

We did not stay. We told the hotel we were going to be a late arrival and called once the day, before twice on the stay date and they confirmed it. When we called to notify we were on the way we were advised our room was no longer available and it was given away. No information given on if a refund will occur or not. We paid in advance and our room was still given away.

The rooms are clean and spacious. I have stayed at this hotel several times and the service has been consistently great.

My experience with this hotel has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I am writing this review as a serious warning to any potential guest: protect your money and book elsewhere. I attempted to cancel my reservation in good faith, following the hotel's own stated cancellation policy to the letter. I made several attempts to cancel well within the legally permitted time period, documenting each interaction. Despite my diligence and adherence to their rules, the hotel completely never responds and doesn’t answer their phones, completely disregarding my concerns and failing to refund me in full. By violating their own policy and refusing to refund my money, they have also clearly violated the Consumer Protection Act. My repeated attempts to resolve this directly with the property have been met with dismissal and utter contempt for my rights as a consumer. They have shown zero interest in rectifying their error, leaving me no choice but to escalate the matter, legally. Be advised that we are now filing formal complaints with their corporate management company, Shaner Corp and the proper consumer protection authorities to trigger a complete and thorough investigation into their business practices. Furthermore, my attorney has been fully briefed on the situation and is prepared to take appropriate legal action against both the property and the management company. Do not be fooled by any positive reviews.

Excellent customer service

Where should I start? My reservation was canceled before arrival. When arrived, I was told my room was canceled due to maintenance issues. I was told a refund was sent out, but it indeed was not. I was then referred to another hotel and told my reservation was moved to another Marriot hotel. It was not. We traveled a total of 9 hours from Michigan and was turned away from a hotel that I PAID FOR!!! Very unprofessional and made our trip extremely stressful.

This is very clean and up to date hotel. The staff were EXTREMELY helpful, professional, pleasant, and welcoming, especially the staff who worked Monday and Tuesday (August 5th and 6th) during the day.

Checked in on Wednesday .. the guy that checked us in had me slid my card twice to pay because he said it didn’t go threw the first time .. the second time he said it went threw and he gave us the room keys and said we were all set .. I double checked with him that the payment went through .. he said yes .. we were the 4 nights .. we actually left a day early .. we we’re going be there from Wednesday to Monday .. we checked out Sunday morning .. Saturday night I told the woman we were leaving Sunday instead of Monday .. and I told her there was confusion at check in and asked her to pull up my reservation to make sure everything was payed for .. I asked her 3 times .. her exact words were yes .. everything is put threw and payed for .. everything went throw with no problem .. I even asked twice Sunday morning when we were walking out again to make sure because I live 7 hours away .. and I was once again told everything was good .. and I was charged .. Monday they called me after I was already home and told me they made a mistake and I was not charged and that if I didn’t pay they were calling the police .. I got multiple alerts from my bank that I was charged .. and then they tried charging me twice .. so now my account is locked and I have no access to anything for a week now .. thankfully I was able to stop the 2nd charge …. will never stay here again .. be careful because they will definitely try to double charge you for your stay

The accessible suite we had was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was good with different options on different days. We were visiting Columbus Zoo and the 10-minute drive was very easy and pleasant. When we are planning another trip to Columbus, we will be staying there again.

The hotel is in a good area with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. It was clean and comfortable!

The hotel is new built and quite good. The room was bit small but had all the necessary amenities. It is located near a mall so there are plenty options to eat and shop.

About a 30 min delay in checking in, while rooms were sorted out. Other guests were waiting too. When I stayed there about a year ago I commented that it would be nice to see some fruit on the breakfast buffet - even out of a can would be better than nothing!

Everything was great, except. Breakfast ended at 9:15am instead of the time listed. All items were empty at that time and didn't get refilled.

10/10 I was happy about the cleanliness of the room. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was much better than other places that I have stayed. I plan on coming back at anther time.

The staff was very friendly! Room was very clean and modern. Everything was perfect except we could her people walking above us on the next floor. Breakfast was very good as well. Over all I would definitely stay here again!
